- Another amazing turnout over 150 cars gathered at DKP Cruise Night at Historic Main Street Garden Grove, California. They blocked the whole block of the Historic Main street filled Volkswagen! There was live music too. What a great evening gathering everyone had a great time!

Man oh man I LOVE that blacked out oval with the louvered decklid, tornado mirrors, merged quiet packs, porsche rims and fully dechromed. That is OLD SCHOOL. I want that car!

It allows more cooling air into the engine compartment is the theory. I've run mine that way for years. I installed a temperature gauge recently and testing with the decklid open and closed is on my list of things to do.

@@hotvwsmagazine Thanks for the info. It's a great looking car and the paintwork on that is amazing. Really useful sliding door - they should reintroduce it as a modern "Golf Plus" for easier access for the elderly.
