You know, I've realized some things. Nothing is well that ends well. Would probably be my guess. Or, it is what it is would be even better. Or maybe, it isn't that at all. Maybe it's just and that's it. Maybe the love was enough, and it always was! And maybe I just forgot... I love you though, regardless. It's the universe I tell you, that's the calling. And I hear it and know it all too well. Full of nothing but dust and rocks, and chemistry. To hold things together so that they may not fall apart. Still I could never imagine a universe without you in it.
And the oak leaves, they rattle, like the great beckoning of an unnatural omen of substance. A substance of fear, I suppose. Welp, can't say that I'm not surprised though, this couldn't have gone any other way. Not for me. I'm sorry.
