Grixis Affinity might be the one Pauper deck I’d call a “money pile”. It’s not expensive, but it can run so many good cards. It’s really hard to tell just what they’re running and how good it’ll be.

It's definately very versatile and able to run in so many different and effective ways. Especially now with Tithing Blade makes the deck even more threatening!

Thanks for the decklist and review. Your insights and thoughts help me to understand the decks, that's really great. Great video. 👍
(I don't know if it's just my audio or if your audio is a little low... I pull my audio full up to listen to the video. Maybe check with others.)

The audio is definitely lower than in my previous videos, I had complaints from others my audio was really loud in the past so I turned down the maater volume for this video but maybe i turned it down too much by accident 😕

Great tech tech! Love the format you use for deck techs. The indestructible lands have been flirting with getting band since the day they were spoiled. I think it's only a matter of time.

Absolutely man, I like to keep it simple but informative and easy to follow. There aren't a lot of deck reviews like this so people tend to like these simplified reviews! Yes the indestructible lands are just asking to be banned. Not only because of affinity but other decks abusing them like Jund Wildfire and U/W Affinity!

    Great Video!!
I have one question: On your Moxfield Link are 61 Cards Maindeck. Is there a specific reason that you play an additional "Gixian Infiltrator"?
    Keep up the good work!

I'm thinking about building a Pauper deck and I don't have experience in the format. Do you think this deck would be a good introduction to the format?

I don't think right now is the ideal time to break into the format with this deck if you want to win, It's still a viable deck on a local level though so if you are just looking to play casually or locally then this would be fine. If you want to stick with Affinity but want something that will perform I'd suggest looking at "U/W Glitters" aka U/W Affinity. It's reletively cheap and very powerful.

Curious if grixis or azorious Affinity will be better positioned once the dust settles.

So I've been asked this a lot here lately and my opinion still stands firm that grixus Affinity is the better of the two I think right now the blue white Affinity deck has a lot of power but it's also very glass cannony, it's a Voltron affinity hybrid deck by virtue. With the rise of any deck running Cast into the Fire you can. Instant speed exile almost every creature in the deck aside from Thraben InSpector. Without the protection of Hexpeoof it lacks the true bogles style play. But that's not to say this deck isn't powerful but I still believe Grixis is more resilient, reliable and efficient when stacked up against any deck in the meta.

In a matchup against UW affinity, what would you sideboard? (P.s. I love your videos, keep going with the great contents!)

In a match up with the new U/W Affinity using this sideboard Set up I would bring in the Improvised Clubs since they can respond to them casting and targeting a creature with All that Glitters, it also deals enough damage to kill Myr Enforcers outright. I would also bring in the Duress to help take away their counter spells, if you take away their few counterspells they have no real way to protect against removal on the stack when they go to cast All That Glitters. This is the trouble I ran into when I played against it is that they always had counterspells for when I would try to destroy their creature. Aside from that since the deck does tend to go wide as well you could always bring in the Krark-Clan Shaman but then you need to play super considerate and careful since it will destroy your creatures as well.
