Love to watch top players in slow motion. You can learn and appreciate more when you see their movements and how precise they are.

Absolutely. Plus it's sheer poetry in motion. I've shown this to non-squash playing friends and they're amazed, and fascinated, at the players' movement and constant changing of direction.

Marvelous Marvin got taxied. Fantastic video, really enjoyed watching professional techniques and precision strokes, very educational. Cheers from Canada.

Absolutely. Rooney had played a couple of backhand crosscourt volleys in the rally so "Marvin" was expecting the same. Good body deception from Rooney.

Great rally, digging out such a precise cross-court shot is great to see. I didn't expect it to end this way, if it wasn't in slow mo I may not have seen so clearly that he moved the wrong way at the end and caused the interference himself.

With the modern ball and rackets the game's been transformed from boasting out of the back corners to being able to hit it crosscourt and down the wall play. Not that that wasn't possible in the '50s '60s '70s and '80s, however it was a lot harder given the lack of bounce when you played in a colder climate than say Aussie, Pakistan or South Africa.

Another foot fault serving error at min 0,01.
    Crazy PSA tournametns!

Rather harsh to call that a foot fault.
I've looked at it frame by frame. It's a foot fault by a gnats cock. Impossible to see in real time.

I would have called stroke on Marwan being in the way on the last few balls…

At 2:50 had Rooney stopped and asked he would have, in my view, been awarded a stroke but he's such a fair player he doesn't normally look for a stroke. I'm certain most players would have stopped and asked.

Great idea :) but the normal speed version to compare would have been even better ;)

Jesus, some people...ha ha. Good idea but I don't have access to the original speed video. Perhaps I'll speed up the slo-mo.

@@CookieMonsterPL :-) All good old boy. Like I said, good idea. I did that with some of my other videos (ua-cam.com/video/wjbAasbQkOM/v-deo.html) but conversely, being screengrabs or downloads not having the high framerate necessary for true slo-mo, I had to slow down from normal speed resulting in jerkiness. Better than nothing though.

Marwan, dirty player, most times when cannot get ball, then ask for let or stroke. Same like Asal, the most disgusting player.
