Nice Explores on your maiden ride this year. Hope that family are able to rebuild their house, sad to see that. Thanks for the ride and Happy Trails Todd!
I can see that it would! You’re pretty familiar with that route as well. I hope I can get a chance to use my backpacking gear once again and get a few Moto camping trips in. I think you would have loved that!
Todd, as always loved going on this adventure with you. Scared me a few times as you rode on those slippery dirt roads. Lots easier than when we cycled on old millerton Rd. Blessings Bro
Thanks for watching Greg. I sure do miss our rides and discussions. I think we’d have even more to discuss with all that’s going on in the world nowadays.
Thanks for the comment @JinKazama92 , I'm planning on doing a MotoVlog setup video in January. I'm using DJI Osmo Action 4 cameras, A roll, which is my helmet cam, and B roll, which is the handlebar cam. You need a BOYA BY-K4 cable that gives you a 3.5mm TRS handoff, and the helmet mic is a MOVO Flexible Gooseneck ACM400. The camera is set to either negative 7 or 8 decibels.
Thanks for the comment. I haven't been down that way yet but that doesn't mean we can't schedule a meetup sometime. Reach out when you're planning a ride! tm7627@gmail.com
Hey @ToddMitchellpro356ADV My store has a 2023 and 2024 version of this bike. The 2023 is brand new and is $3k cheaper than the 2024. Do you know if there are any differences? I couldnt really find any but maybe the tires?
Hey there @robm78 - I have took a couple of peaks at the 2024 and I don't see any discernible differences. Go with the 23' and save yourself the 3K which you can apply towards some good riding gear. Thanks for the comment and happy trails.
I was looking at the black dog and the outback Motortek heavy duty skid plate I ended up ordering the outback one the aftermarket plates look like they mount primarily to the frame and are quite a bit more rigid
When I first got the bike, I had an issue with the front tire not holding air. It was a slow leak that progressively got worse over time. The dealer had to end up changing the inner rubber gasket liner on both the spokes and then the other rim liner and I haven't had an issue since. No other issues (knock on wood), I'm at 3,000 miles so far. Thanks for the comment.
Tod I would highly recommend replacing your skid plate with a better one my 890 fell over hitting the bottom front corner of the plate sending all the force to the rubber insert on the tank cracking it I have a new one coming $1570
Wow, I am so sorry that happened to you. A new skid plate is definitely on my list of coming upgrades. Just been waiting for funds to replenish a bit. Which plate did you go with?
What an awesome ride and an awesome day! Looking forward to a great year of riding!
Awesome dirt roads.
Absolutely! We're blessed to have some great spots to ride around where I live. Thanks for the comment.

Definitely brings back some memories from when our family lived in that area. I love my 890 R and would love to get back there again someday.
Thanks for the comment George. If you ever find yourself back my way, let’s ride.

Good to know. I’ll check those ones out. Did you consider the AXP skid plate?
I think this is also a good unit probably a lot less weight it also mounts to the frame
Thanks for the comment! Happy trails.
Have you had any problems with the bike like the 21,22 and 23 model?

Still the same stupid turn indicator KTM! Still no right or left signs even though it is digital... Crazy!
You are so right, that irritates the heck out of me!
I thought it was a 2024😢
It is, LOL.
@@PRO356Adventures you called it a 23
Oh man, that must have been an early January slip.
@@PRO356Adventures lol 😆
