A big thanks to Sharon for this recipe, I used it and adapted it a bit and made steak and kidney puddings - INDIVIDUAL ones using them Tala tins. Luvvy Jubbly! I cooked the meat in my slow cooker the day before like Sharon and put in a good glug of worcestershyster sauce and cooked the puddens in my 'retro' Tower pressure cooker! My Old Boy thought all his birthdays had come at once today and Sharon he told me I'd never looked more lovely! Ha haaa haa at my age he has to lay it on with a bloody trowel. Keep up the good work Butlers Empire - British grub is so good the whole world needs to tuck in and enjoy it!
I think this would work well in airfryer with water in the lower basket for steaming. After cooked, I'd have to then put in the airfryer uncovered and puddings turned over to crisp the suet pastry up a bit
Love you two ❤️ Martin you make laugh with ya antics especially when eating ya food and Sharon rolling her eyes as the sexy music is playing. Great to see what you can do in ya Air Fryer so many things . Thanks keep on Cooking 😁👨🍳👨🍳 xxx
I really enjoyed watching you making the pudding and roll poly oh yes with creamy mash and peas and gravy its gotta be thick gravy not watered gravy yum yum love fran xxxx
My goodness guys, I'm anybodies for a suet pudding. The look on Martyns face said it all, and I have to admit that I am just a little bit in love with Sharon. God bless guys,✌❤ Bob.
Love it. Forget the steak, fill it with kidney. Make sure you have plenty grated suet in the pastry. Look lovely. Personally, would eat 2 in one sitting. Have you tried a pork belly steamed pudding? Scrumptious!!
Lucky you didn't get sent off to boarding school. Army child so no choice for my parents. Although, it did teach me to eat what was put in front of me. To be fair - the meals were very good!
Steamed meat puddings and jam roly poly.😋I can't get suet here in Thailand now. I think it stemmed from UK's Mad Cow disease some years ago when Beef imports were banned in Thailand. I've still got the remains of a lump of beef kidney fat that I put through the mincer and froze it. It takes me back to the war years when my mum sent me to the butchers with the ration books and orders to ask for "any extras?' I remember him saying "Your mum's got a bloody cheek." And putting a lump of suet in the bag. Does anyone in the UK grate their own suet nowadays? I doubt it
Can you please make both of these again but in the Airfryer. Love your UA-cam channel, really getting into cooking with the Airfryer to save electricity here in Australia 🇦🇺 Your hints and tips are great 😊 keep up the good work 💜
Another excellent 👌 video as always. My mam was brought up on suet puddings, lamb’s liver and thick 🧅 onion gravy. Have you ever had lambs stuffed hearts. Myself I couldn’t eat anything like that.Mam is asking if you make the suet pudding again could you please 🙏 put kidneys in it.Keep warm and Take care.❤️🥰🦋🧑🍳🥘🥧🏴
I've often thought obout trying a steamed suet pudding in an electric steamer but never built up the courage to actually do it. How well did it come out please, is it as good as doing it on the stove top?
Whether it be air fryer stuff or just knowing how to shop with a brain then turn it into bloody decent food, the pair of you are shining examples You are both a walking advert to say “sod your £5 ready meal (that’s supposed to feed 2 but bloody doesn’t)
Lovely puddings, like we had as children yes lashings of Gravy, and Birds Custard with the jam Rollie,
Gravy is separate from birds custard .lol 😂
Wrote this in a hurry, 🤣

I used to love school dinners. I still love steak and kidney pud.
My favorite school dinner dessert was butterscotch tart and custard
Never had a school dinner in all my life. My Mom used to cook both of these at home, and so have I in the past
Lucky you didn't get sent off to boarding school. Army child so no choice for my parents. Although, it did teach me to eat what was put in front of me. To be fair - the meals were very good!
