A Day in Japan's Beautiful Rice Terraces: Planting Rice by Hand

Hi, this is Sammy Yahman from Japan.
This time, we went to Sakaori rice terraces in Gifu Prefecture, one of the 100 best rice terraces in Japan, in search of a spectacular view that can only be seen during this season when the rice fields are filled with water.
The reflections on the rice fields are beautiful...
We waited in a travel trailer hoping to see the reflection of the sunset, but on this particular day the sky didn't turn orange at all... (tears) And then, we experienced that for the first time in our life...
It was the most surprising incident of the trailer trip.
But we became friends with the cameraman and he gave us some delicious-looking furikake rice seasoning as a souvenir from Kyoto ♡ Thank you, brother!
After seeing the rice terraces, it was time to put it into practice.
We struggled to plant rice, aiming for self-sufficiency.
