I just realized, this cinematic came out the summer after infinity war. Imagine being a honkai fan at that time, having seen infinity war, knowing all the thanos snap memes, then suddenly Mihoyo have God Kiana basically do her own version of the snap. That must've been even more hype when it came out.
The fact that Kiana Herrscher of the Void looks like the Goddess of Genshin... The theories... Sea of Quanta and the multiverses... And the fact that Honkai and Genshin are in the same "group" of universes... miHoYo is amazing.
If u search for Herrscher of the End from Gun Girl she is even more similar to the Goddes of genshin, considering she is also Kiana but from another world where she became a God and the entire world has been reset, and Kiana now in HI3 take over her Herrscher's powers, i think the goddess of genshin is HotE from Gun Girl because now Kiana is good on HI3 (sorry for bad english)

If Genshin is the future or reset of the world, then it can either mean 2 things. First, Unknown God is actually the good girl doing her job by stopping random Gods (that may or may not be evil) when they go through her territory. This would mean that in Genshin, we are playing what's most likely the villain. Second, Kiana of Gun Girl does not like anything on her own private toy world. Or Kiana of HI3 has gone haywire haynuts the haymaker and is plain world traveling evil. That's just my own theory on things, we will never really know until Paimon's true identity is revealed.

Kiana is just her good side still being idealistic and wanting to be Cecilia's daughter, while "Sirin" is her vengeful, hateful side that just wants to lash out at humanity after suffering for years because of horrifying experiments done on her by Shicksal. It's more of a split personality deal. She is a bona fide Herrscher though either way.

"Genshin" should be roughly trasnlated to "Primordial Gods" or ancient gods, basically in Honkai, whenever humanity got their technology to a certain degree, a honkai impact will errupt to destroy it, so i guess 'genshin impact' just means the 'descent of the gods' just like what happened 500 years ago to the khaenri'ah (where kaeya and dainsleif) came from, because the kingdom is said to have the power to go against the gods, maybe that's why the unknown goddess appeared at that time to destroy the kingdom hence the reason she said "the arrogance of mankind must ends now", just like honkai impact.
One thing is for certain. Genshin impact takes place on the same Universe tree honkai impact 3 does. The Honkai is a force of chaos that works for the Universe tree, testing civilizations through a process of trials that determine whether they exist or not. Only the best civilizations can survive. The devs confirmed that Genshin and HI3 are connected in an interview a few months ago, they mentioned how Otto was looking at other leaves on the Universe tree and saw things from genshin. The Unkown God is likely the Will of The Honkai, and Lumine may very well become the first Herrscher of Genshin Impact. The Honkai already exists in Genshin, but Honkai isn't as advanced yet since it advances with Civilizations. As civilization advances, the Honkai do as well and become deadlier. Its not a matter of if Genshin will have a Honkai Eruption. But when. The Universe tree will test the Genshin universe leaf as it has all the others. Honestly however, The honkai that manifest in Genshin Impact may be stronger then the Honkai that come from HI3 because of Magic and other variables. That said, the final test for Genshin would likely be to survive the Herrscher of The End.

I'm sold" exactly the same reaction you said when you've seen the dragon of Mei from Lament of Fallen lmao and more funny about that, it's the same dragon named Benares the most and unique loyal servant to Sirin (Herrscher of Void). But Benares of Mei if a quiet bit different, basically original Benares died while protecting Mei from fatal hit during big fight against Time Structure, then Mei became Herrscher of Thunder and revives Benares as her own personal Honkai dragon as a plenarily different creature from the one that belonged to Sirin in that cinematic. Me, a Genshin Impact player, after watching all the Honkai videos: "I've invested in the wrong game." 'Course, then I proceeded to start playing both of them.
Cyberangel had the most hype music imo... And I love seele but Dual Ego just didn't have enough battle scene time, srsly 1 slash i mean i understand but....
Finally, you behold my Queen, hail her on and on. So this shit will make a lot more sense if you play the game, but this is the 'Herrscher of the Void' and in the community she is popularly referred to as 'God Kiana', she isn't really 'Kiana' but that's a complicated matter which the story will explain to you lol. She was what sold me on this game back when this cinematic came out, a literal goddess of a character, till this day I've never grown tired of her design, aesthetic, voice, move set, everything about her just oozes 'god complex', and the best part is they're buffing her in the next version of the game. If you like that snap, hoo boi are you in for a pleasant surprise once you see her gameplay...
She snapped better than Thanos, I'ma say it. The way the music cuts out, the snap is the only noise... then the drop when her music comes back more powerful than before... they don't blast us with a lame cliché beam battle, we don't blow up humanities bombs with an overwhelming display of force... no, she calmly and dispassionately turns it all back on us. It's the single most impactful moment of the game... The Final Lesson is probably the most important SCENE and sequence and its really great, but even that video doesn't have a 'moment' that delivers its message and impact quite the same way the queen of the void delivers the snap that seals away all hope on that battlefield.
YO man, of all reactors on the HI3 trailers, I definitely love yours! I was hooked into the game solely because of the story, animation, and music and I'm glad you felt the same way too. Also some HI3 nutshell: So Anti-Entropy, Schicksal and the World Serpent are the 3 organizations that are trying to fight off the Honkai. Anti-Entropy uses machines, Schichsal uses humans (Valkyries) while I'm not entirely sure about the World Serpent, I think more on into human experimentation.
It actually means ruler and/or sovereign lol. Also, God Kiana and HoV are different. The "God Kiana" which we know of based on GGZ and manga is the 14th Herscherr, or the Herscherr of the End.
I love how what they did with the collab story mode. Instead of having characters from the franchise you collab with do their thing, like everyone else would, have your own characters play out the story of the other franchise. Awesome.
Ya really do need to play this fam. It's great. Also if you plan on doing re-watches of some of the cinematics you've already watched, might I recommend to you the order? 1) Will of the Herrscher (you are here) 2) Final Lesson 3) Cyberangel: ZERO Exception 4) Seele 5) Chp XI [11]-EX CG (Yes this isn't a full video, but it is important and impactful to watch). 6) Meteoric Salvation 7) Lament of the Fallen 8) Reawakening 9) Shattered Samsara The cinematic shorts Re-Burn and Chp XV CG aren't as necessary, but Re-burn can be slotted in wherever (it doesn't quite fit in the timeline) and Chp XV would be between 7 and 8. Additionally, I would also recommend you check out each of the song; while yes each song is a banger in their own way, Mihoyo is also masterful at mixing meaning in their music. Like, watch Final Lesson again after reading the lyrics for Nightglow (the song played near the end). Anyways, hope you have fun watching the rest of these. I'm certainly getting a kick out of watching a Genshin player fall into this lore hole with us.

Im so glad people are finally noticing this game. I’ve played for 3 years and I swear its the most underrated game i’ve ever played. Edit: For those who don’t know whats going on, the white haired girl Kiana is a clone meant to host the herrscher of the void who is a Honkai god that controls space time. This was done so that the overseer of Schicksal (the organization that protects people from Honkai) can revive his dead lover thru the power of herrschers. Otto is the main villain and Kiana suffers a terrible existential crisis as a result of this transformation.
I only just started learning about it and I'm blown away more people havnt played/known about the game, its cinematics and from what I've seen combat is a masterpiece!!!

When I first saw this trailer 5 days ago. I got goose bumps from the animation, the power she has, the music and the distortion and you can see the how amazing of a trailer it is. The snap gave me chills the footsteps was satisfying and the look was terrifying. When the music came back after the snap was amazing too. The dragon was so cool. Then when I started playing it after seeing the trailer I was so happy to get my favorite character on the second day of playing it. I was so happy to get God Kiana when I got her. She is my favorite.

Among one of which, is Honkai Impact 3rd world's next door neighbor, The world of Teyvat's Stormterror Dragon [Dvalin]. While the other one, is actually our current newest character [Fallen Rosemary]. I m just waiting for the day when they do an internal collaboration. No licensing issues, and all the models and assets are there to use.

I'm curious if Mihoyo is gonna keep Genshin on a more family/child friendly theme that it's currently on or if the small hints at a darker world that are smattered in the story are just foreshadowing to a darker turn to Genshin's story. I mean... Mihoyo is a studio that created a game with a very dark, apocalyptic setting and has definitely killed off playable characters and turned their MC into the final boss in a tragic turn of events. The romantic interest also embraced a darker side of methodology in order to keep her loved one alive, not caring about the world. Mihoyo is no stranger to tragedy and duality, so I'm hoping that spreads into Genshin's story so the stakes get higher, even if only a little.

The Honkai is a force of chaos that works for the Universe tree, testing civilizations through a process of trials that determine whether they exist or not. Only the best civilizations can survive. The devs confirmed that Genshin and HI3 are connected in an interview a few months ago, they mentioned how Otto was looking at other leaves on the Universe tree and saw things from genshin. The Unkown God is likely the Will of The Honkai, and Lumine may very well become the first Herrscher of Genshin Impact. The Honkai already exists in Genshin, but Honkai isn't as advanced yet since it advances with Civilizations. As civilization advances, the Honkai do as well and become deadlier. Its not a matter of if Genshin will have a Honkai Eruption. But when. The Universe tree will test the Genshin universe leaf as it has all the others. Honestly however, The honkai that manifest in Genshin Impact may be stronger then the Honkai that come from HI3 because of Magic and other variables. That said, the final test for Genshin would likely be to survive the Herrscher of The End.

Herrscher are consider gods of calamity itself and there are 14 of them. The 14th Herrscher is the most powerful of them that even Kevin which is immortal and the most powerful human was not even a match, even against other herrscher was still not enough to defeat her. She's the Herrscher of the End and she already destroyed the Human kind in the previous era.

But Benares of Mei if a quiet bit different, basically original Benares died while protecting Mei from fatal hit during big fight against Time Structure, then Mei became Herrscher of Thunder and revives Benares as her own personal Honkai dragon as a plenarily different creature from the one that belonged to Sirin in that cinematic. So this shit will make a lot more sense if you play the game, but this is the 'Herrscher of the Void' and in the community she is popularly referred to as 'God Kiana', she isn't really 'Kiana' but that's a complicated matter which the story will explain to you lol. She was what sold me on this game back when this cinematic came out, a literal goddess of a character, till this day I've never grown tired of her design, aesthetic, voice, move set, everything about her just oozes 'god complex', and the best part is they're buffing her in the next version of the game. Honestly when I first saw this cutscene, playing this game, it made me wonder: *_why didn't I play this game sooner_*
It's a goddamn masterpiece imho.
She snapped better than Thanos, I'ma say it. The way the music cuts out, the snap is the only noise... then the drop when her music comes back more powerful than before... they don't blast us with a lame cliché beam battle, we don't blow up humanities bombs with an overwhelming display of force... no, she calmly and dispassionately turns it all back on us.
It's the single most impactful moment of the game... The Final Lesson is probably the most important SCENE and sequence and its really great, but even that video doesn't have a 'moment' that delivers its message and impact quite the same way the queen of the void delivers the snap that seals away all hope on that battlefield.
YO man, of all reactors on the HI3 trailers, I definitely love yours! I was hooked into the game solely because of the story, animation, and music and I'm glad you felt the same way too.
Also some HI3 nutshell:
So Anti-Entropy, Schicksal and the World Serpent are the 3 organizations that are trying to fight off the Honkai. Anti-Entropy uses machines, Schichsal uses humans (Valkyries) while I'm not entirely sure about the World Serpent, I think more on into human experimentation.

The cinematic shorts Re-Burn and Chp XV CG aren't as necessary, but Re-burn can be slotted in wherever (it doesn't quite fit in the timeline) and Chp XV would be between 7 and 8.
Additionally, I would also recommend you check out each of the song; while yes each song is a banger in their own way, Mihoyo is also masterful at mixing meaning in their music. Like, watch Final Lesson again after reading the lyrics for Nightglow (the song played near the end).
Anyways, hope you have fun watching the rest of these. I'm certainly getting a kick out of watching a Genshin player fall into this lore hole with us.

Im so glad people are finally noticing this game. I’ve played for 3 years and I swear its the most underrated game i’ve ever played.
Edit: For those who don’t know whats going on, the white haired girl Kiana is a clone meant to host the herrscher of the void who is a Honkai god that controls space time. This was done so that the overseer of Schicksal (the organization that protects people from Honkai) can revive his dead lover thru the power of herrschers. Otto is the main villain and Kiana suffers a terrible existential crisis as a result of this transformation.
I only just started learning about it and I'm blown away more people havnt played/known about the game, its cinematics and from what I've seen combat is a masterpiece!!!

The one and only honkai queen
When I first saw this trailer 5 days ago. I got goose bumps from the animation, the power she has, the music and the distortion and you can see the how amazing of a trailer it is. The snap gave me chills the footsteps was satisfying and the look was terrifying. When the music came back after the snap was amazing too. The dragon was so cool. Then when I started playing it after seeing the trailer I was so happy to get my favorite character on the second day of playing it. I was so happy to get God Kiana when I got her. She is my favorite.

Among one of which, is Honkai Impact 3rd world's next door neighbor, The world of Teyvat's Stormterror Dragon [Dvalin]. While the other one, is actually our current newest character [Fallen Rosemary].
I m just waiting for the day when they do an internal collaboration. No licensing issues, and all the models and assets are there to use.

I'm curious if Mihoyo is gonna keep Genshin on a more family/child friendly theme that it's currently on or if the small hints at a darker world that are smattered in the story are just foreshadowing to a darker turn to Genshin's story. I mean... Mihoyo is a studio that created a game with a very dark, apocalyptic setting and has definitely killed off playable characters and turned their MC into the final boss in a tragic turn of events. The romantic interest also embraced a darker side of methodology in order to keep her loved one alive, not caring about the world. Mihoyo is no stranger to tragedy and duality, so I'm hoping that spreads into Genshin's story so the stakes get higher, even if only a little.

Also the god in genshin,isn't fully kiana, since the goddess of void (the genshin god) can posses anyone with high like TOOOO much honkai enargy which means that since genshin is related to honkai (there is a picture of devalin in one of the honkai impact secens) genshin is eaither the first honkai war or the 4th....but i believe it's le forth like ya know just a guess
