I laughed so hard when the "delay" was the horse jumping out of the paddock! Seriously funny! When I was a groom I had to muck out 25 horses every day... as well as tacking up, feeding and putting them out in paddocks (only 3 hours each). With 50 horses (we were 2 that worked there and did half each) it took all day. That, was slave labour!
I grew up in a world where people brush and tack their own horses. Helps with horse and rider bond, rider gets an idea of horse's attitude and rider is responsible for their own horse. I know of people who have grooms, yet the rider doesnt even know what bit is used on their own horse when they ride.
Know this all too well. Even junior riders are sometimes not taught how to brush and tack up their own horse(s). The trainer or groom does everything, the riders just show up.
You should definitely do again. That was the funniest volg let. A I really injoyed it too. All my love go's out to you guys . And please be Safe and Healthy. Hope to see you guys again

As a groom who has worked at eventing stables, showjumping stables and dressage stables- I fully agree with your comment about what it's like being a groom/stablehand at a dressage stud!!

In the stable where my horse "lives" it's normal that every rider cleans their horses stable and feed them and brushes the horse themselves. So I can only imagine if it was a bit overdramatic or not😂😂

Over dramatic, but in the United States, some barns offer these services (where the horse is taken care of and you just ride).
