Damn, I feel bad for the casa people. They are always seen as bitter liars or delusional when in reality it’s usually just a bad edit. Deji & Summer seem like cool people. Their love island experience wasn’t fully explained by production & that left room for narratives to run wild.
Some casa lot are fame horse and liars. Jazmine came on murads podcast a fee weeks ago, and over exaggerated hers and Andrew's supposed connection.
Jazmine also painted Coco in a bad light, which lead to her getting hate. George also lied about him and ES getting frisky when ES just touched him a little bit. George is still pushing this harmful native.
Some casa ppl are good eggs (Cheyenne, Jack, Josh, Chyna, etc) but some casa ppl are clout chasers.

It doesn't really have anything to do with how it's edited. The issue is viewers. Viewers grow so attached to the "og" islanders and the original couples that ANY casa islander who gets with a boy who isn't "single" is automatically disliked be many viewers. Doesn't matter how the producers edit things. E.g. Kaz from season 4 was a sweet girl who never had a negative edit but she was disliked by viewers because of how protective they were of georgia and Josh. People only started liking Kaz once Georgia started showing negative sides. Summer never got a bad edit either

To be fair, Indiyah told Deji she wanted to get to know them both and didn’t cross any boundaries in casa. The fact she didn’t shut Deji out when in the main villa is a good thing because she gave him a chance. Let’s hope things workout with her and Dami on the outside. Either way she’s fine without him.

We have got to move past using “keeping it real” or “telling it as it is” as an excuse to be rude and abrasive. You can be honest and upfront while still keeping peoples feelings in mind. Luca is an even worse example of this bc he can dish it out but never take it. I like Summer and Deji but I rolled my eyes at that part of the interview. Makes me look at them a little different ngl.

I mean yes, Nathalie could have worded it better regarding "Poor Summer" and all. But it was actually poor Summer in a sense. Because Dami did answer the question regarding if he would always be with Indiyah after and during Casa amor. Essentially him saying that he just used Summer during Casa amor. A bit like Andrew. But, Dami was way more.
Because he was more intense with Summer and even recoupled with her. And he encouraged Andrew and all of the boys to stray in Casa. Just for Dami to dump Summer the minute he saw that Indiyah had brought a guy. I felt bad for Summer and I know that a lot of other people did as well. I dont think that there was any ill intent in that comment from Nathalie. She just called Dami out imo. I mean Indiyah must know that Dami used Summer as well. And her.
I think this interview made it clear that attempts to make Dami the bad guy are misdirected. The situation between Dami and Indiyah pretty much ran parallel with the exception of Dami being more touchy feely but its not like those two lied or made any false promises. So as peak as the situation was for the Casa 2, it was what it was. Nobody was used in that type of way, nobody was a homewrecker and thats why they're all friends now.
So basically you’re saying Dami was responsible for the actions of grown men. Why don’t you say with your chest that you judge Dami more harshly than the other guys because he is black. How can he be worse than Andrew who was sucking a woman’s breast?

Interesting interview and they seem like nice people, but I think they are completely wrong regarding the whole bullying issue. They said that Luca and Dami were just being real, but honestly, there is a line between being "real" and actually low-key harassing someone and that line was crossed. I don´t really think bad behavior can always be justified by claiming that you´re just being honest because there are different ways you can relay a message. Pulled far enough and bullying can always be justified by the bully just "being upfront about not liking the person". No it's not. People are now completely abstracting the context of how Tasha was moving to Andrew at the beginning, giving him reassurance about how she's only for him and then jumping first chance a new guy came. Andrew was being treated like a mug and his friends or at least fellow boys it was BS to witness.
Had high expectations for this interview and to be fair it started so well... loved Summer spilling the tea on the Page/Tash/Gemma clique.... However it became clear mid way through the podcast the tone shifted when Summer started defending Luca's behaviour, which was odd considering her own experience when she arrived at the main villa with the girls. "Telling someone how it is" is not an excuse to be vile. We see this a lot when islanders leave the show they don't want to rock the boat with the last few couples which I understand but Luca's behaviour towards Tasha is actually undefendable and I don't even like Tasha on the show.
Also, Tasha's info was thatnthe casa girls were slagging her off and did notnhave the gutts to tell it to her face. I am not surprised shebwas frosty.
I also found it odd that Summer defended Luca’s actions. Luca is not God to be ‘Telling it like it is’. His word is not Bible🙄😒. Luca and Dami have been picking at Tasha and show casing their misogyny. It is funny that she calls out the girls for making her feel uncomfortable in the villa but cannot hold Luca accountable 🤔. She comes off quite male identified. I bet it was Luca or Jacques who said Coco is a 4/10.
Yup that put me off summer especially, just made me think she can probably act like a bully too. Lack of empathy for other people and lack of being able to view things from others view points. Why is there not a disclaimer at the end of EVERY episode saying "Thank you for watching the show, we appreciate all the support and the conversations that this show inspires but please remember that these people are just like your friend, sister, mother and are learning/growing on national TV, they are normal people, do not send them hate"

Interesting interview! It's not "being real", it's entitlement to disrespect people and have a superiority complex, thinking their opinion is the only one that matters without having any empathy for another's perspective. There's a way of addressing a situation or handling conflict in a compassionate and honest, non-hypocritical manner and THAT is being real, something we haven't seen from some the people who are being called "real".

Really enjoyed this interview and agreed with almost everything they said expect the part about Dami and Luca. I think they could’ve found a way to keep it real while being respectful to Tasha especially if they were close friends. Their behavior towards Tasha is inexcusable and the fact that none of the girls stood up for her baffles me. The tone of the interview definitely shifted after they started defending Luca and Dami. I noticed Murad was surprised by their reaction because he doesn’t support Dami and Lucas behavior nor did he think they would.

We did not see anything that showed Deji and Indiyah were getting on like the way he has made out here. It would have been good if he mentioned a few things they did together so we can understand (they certainty didn’t kiss outside challenge or cuddle in bed). Even Murad was probing for specific examples but he was avoiding answering it. Literally before the recoupling Indiyah said she had better connection with Dami but she would bring him back because in the real world she would date more than one guy. Just cause you wanted Indiyah does not mean she should chose you. This is getting boring now. We wanted you two together but she went with her feelings.

1. I feel like deji is really cool, even cooler than he appeared on the show. I really respect that he didn’t answer Murad’s question about arguments because they weren’t his stories to tell.
2. I saw in the comments of chyna’s interview someone said that murad is trying to shine a negative light on Damiyah and personally in this interview I can see it. Him questioning why summer wants them to win is so weird to me honestly seeing as he supported indiyah since day 0. I understand wanting ekin to win but davide has said mad things about her and ekin. So if you want damiyah to win bc of Dami’s behavior, surely you wouldn’t want ekinde to win bc of Davids’s crazy remarks about ekin.

I don't understand why people think that "saying whatever is real for you doesn't matter who you hurt" is a good thing, and I don't say that just bc it's on tv and people should be careful, but also in real life. That's not how it works, Luca may think something about tasha but that is not ~the superior truth~, his opinion isn't more important than being respectful to someone. Good interview with them both. The only thing I disagree with is their reasoning for the edit of Luca. "Saying it as it is" knowing it will upset the other person can still be a form of bullying. It's not his place to give his opinion unless anyone asks.

I think that people are intepreting the line about "Poor Summer" strange here. But Nathalie asked Dami in the game if Dami always had the intention to be with Indiyah: During and after casa amor. And he said yes. Which Nathalie replied with "Poor Summer". Because it was obvious by Damis reply that he just used Summer during Casa amor. And Nathalie called him out on it.

Both of them should have come in before casa. Even as ogs they would have been great because they came with the correct energy. I think they'd have gotten in a love square with dami and indiyah even as ogs too 😂 Its good that deji got to tell his side of the story about that girl talking about him so I'm happy for him he's got to address it. I'm glad that summer addressed the nathalia thing because indiyah got a lot of stick for that but summer feels the same as indiyah about it, so its more understandable now indiyah's reaction. I could tell dami was off with deji which was obviously because he didn't like indiyah bring him back because of his insecurities of losing her. But I had no idea till summer's interviews that the og girls were so shady and I wish they showed atleast a bit of that to show how hard it was for the casa girls. We could tell that they ended up being good friends with dami and indiyah which was actually quite mature of them, because they could have just kept it amicable but they seem really chill like ikenna. Both have handled themselves great post casa and are very clicked on, so hopefully they do well in whatever they do.

Their both from London so naturally you gravitate towards people who have a similar background as you because it feels familiar. I know they can edit things but you can not edit chemistry and to me, I just didn't see it between them, not even in Casa. I've come back to say I really like Summer & Deji, good vibes, but watching this interview you can see Summer & Deji are thick skinned & mentally resilient people who can handle Luca's harsh truths. I don't think the problem is that Luca likes to keep it real, the problem is Luca lacks compassion, empathy & perception, that's why he's unable to adapt how he delivers his truths depending on the person receiving them. You can still keep it real, but if you're perceptive & emotionally intelligent then you learn how to adapt the delivery for sensitive people, but it takes having consideration for others to do that ¬ everyone has that trait.
Another thing about Luca is when he gives his opinion it's like no other opinion is valid or warranted &then he tries to force his opinion until the other person backs down, like when he wasn't having it that Andrew wasn't salty when Tasha was talking to other mandem & was getting worked up cos Andrew was chilled about it to the point Dami had to step in & tell Luca - you're you & Andrew is him we all think differently, you can't force your views on Andrew. Now I'm not gonna come up on here & label Luca a bully cos I didn't live with him, but from what's been shown imo he lacks consideration for others, can be insensitive, & is unable to see others pov.

My thing is, I honestly feel like people are taking this and making it into something bigger than it needs to be. He said they had a connection. She brought him back to the villa. They seemed to be getting on but he also noticed that her and Dami were having long convos. It kinda got to him especially with other people mentioning this to him, so he realized “hey, I don’t really prefer if I’m not getting 100%. So maybe this isn’t for me, even though I really like her.” He mentioned the edits weren’t the full story and that she still really liked him too (this goes with what she said as well, but she liked Dami more). He was hurt of course, but moved on. They all got a long in the end which was indicated by Indiyah in the confessional when Deji left. I don’t feel like Lacey’s feelings towards Deji were genuine. I feel like Deji was a ticket in, because he was single. In the introduction interview she said she was interested in Luca and someone else. As predicted, I feel this will show as they are now out of the villa. I also don’t think Jays feelings towards Chyna were ever real. He needed to couple up because being single was leaving him vulnerable to be voted out. As soon as he was saved from being voted out, he literally dumped her. I definitely think there was a lot of fake ‘connections’ for the purpose of being saved from being kicked out of the show.
