The North(Rahu) and South(Ketu) Nodes of the Moon, are the two karmic points in the horoscopes indicating the main areas of work you have to do in this incarnation in oder to move forward. Rahu and Ketu are known as the nodes of the Moon, In your case they do not affect the Sun because none of them are with your Sun. This chart starts also with the Ascendant(1st house) but it is places at the top of the chart rather than on the left. Each square is one sign, and the house cusps are indicated by the roman numericals in the squares(signs) If you see a planet in the same square as say 3rd and 4th house cusps, then this planet will affect both houses

I read that, Ketu, feels comfortable with Mercury, giving the ability to heal, wisdom and intuition which is where my chart reads it within Pisces; and thank God for that, because I missed my 30-31 year Saturn Return in Rahu/Virgo. I have the Sun and NN close in the first house. But I have staying power in relationships. I'll try EVERYTHING to see if I can make it work before I move on. That has been my downfall. I've been drawn to psychology, holistic/alternative medicine and healing,but never pursued it (25 yrs old now, and still feeling different from all others.) because my family tells me to concentrate on where I can earn more money practically. I guess in this I should follow my instinct and not my head lol. Also most my money comes from family, without me asking and from my partner too! That part is not so bad! : )

Just me, Having this Rahu in my sun, I've always felt who is the true me since I was a child but life change it, I let myself influenced by my family and I did what they told me and Not what I wanted to do it, I still wanna do it but I feel I'm just trap, stuck I'm 27 thought by this age I will finally feel comfortable withing myself but it has been really difficult I even moved on into a new country so nobody could influences me but still don't havve a great direction and I'm not being constant in what I am doing righ now. I still wanna study theater or music, I feel too dissapointed because my family didn't support me at that time and now I don't even have my own support to do those thing, have a lot insecurities. Hi. I am 19y/o. My sun is in Capricorn and my ascendent is in Cancer. My South Node is also Capricorn (I used your birthchart and it is the exact same angle like my sun) and my North Node is Cancer. You mentioned, that people usually live 'in favor' of their South Node until their late 30s/ early40s. Does that mean I should still live like that or already start 'transforming'?

Thank you for your video, Lada. I have the Sun at the South Node in Libra in the XIth house, and the Moon at the North Node in the Vth house in Taurus. I can rely to a lot of things you are talking about, although my Sun and Moon are both well aspected, so I think this also makes a difference, and of course the way we handle these aspects.

Hi South and North nodes are always in opposite signs, they cannot be in Libra and Taurus. I am not sure I am getting what you are saying :)

My south node is in the 11th house in Libra conjuncting my Sun, and my north node is in the 5th house in Aries conjuncting my Moon in Taurus. My Nodes are in the last decade, so the NN is close to my Moon & Lilith in Taurus.

Lada, I am so angry watching this video because you described my life. My Sun and South Node are in the same sign and same house. This lifetime has left me feeling extremely frustrated as a person. I have tried and worked and clawed and fought my way trying to achieve success and achieve a prominent role or placement in society and life ALWAYS throws me off track. Always. It's like I'm meant to be a loser this life time. And I am a total perfectionist, have limitless power (Mars in Leo 10th house probably adds to that) but it's like... I am not getting the results I desire. And life keeps SABOTAGING me. It sucks.

I spent 20 years as a school teacher because that's what my mother wanted for me. At 52 years of age, Ive decided to try to do something related to my true passion horses. Hi actually everyone born about a year around you, will have Ketu Uranus in the same sign, so it is generational and not specific. It might mean that the people being born around that year were the same one who were around when electricity was discovered or the scientific revolution has started or when some important political Revolution was happening or some dictatorship(Uranus again) or sth similar of Uranian importance, and you were used from past lives to deal with Uranus ideologies.
You know, the funny thing is, as far as I can remember, I could never deal with authority (childhood was very tough for me, just from not getting to make my own decisions, and today I am an entrepreneur, because I could never deal with a boss..) and I also reject many of today's technological advancements (no car, no personal phone or tablet..) or scientific ideologies (innate distrust of modern medicine from childhood, for example).

I have sun square Saturn i know the effects are slightly different to it being conjunct the sun, however i also have sun square mars so you said that kind of fights off the effects of Saturn. As long as i have pride it's fine, haha.

I don't have Ketu with any planets, but I have Rahu with Uranus and Neptune which aren't visible planets, so I'm guessing they don't hold any significance?

that is a hard one to have-in some areas of life Saturn will be in control, in other the Sun, depending on the dignity of the 2 planets in the different divisional charts-it is complex to explain. But Saturn and Sun together is generally a tough one and Rahu makes it more pronounces. Usually there are delays in finding the right career and vocation and father issues are possible

Hi Lada! I just try to understand the Sun and Rahu conjunction I have. Its a close conjunction in Capricorn, Sravana, in Ninth house. Just watched your video about sun in ninth house( everything is true with need etc!). SO , a complicated one here, My father has been the more emotionally open one( Taurus ascendant/fourth house->leo) + my moon is aspected by ketu( moom-> cold spiritual person), but we do have battles ALL THE TIME(me+ dad). And eventhough I know my suffering is kind of selfproduced(?) I kind of cant stand him( he is selfish(calls me selfish)tries to control everyone in family, critisize, overanalyse and tries to make me into something that im not). I wonder. Am I supposed to cut off the contact or what is suppose to happen to make this healed somehow?( i cant change him- hes a bully ( many planets in virgo in first house, plus whiny-> venus moon conjunction there)Its just. Both of my parents have ketu in sagitarrius, and i think im bitter to them because they have overshadowed my love( i have venus,mercury(but also) saturn, mars in sagitarius). Hi Frida-Rahu is more malefic and painful than Saturn even. It is a demon planet, so wherever it is we have the biggest lessons to learn. In your case with the planet of the Father in the house of the father,so it can be an overly preachy father, also overly solar qualities(Rahu blows things out of proportions) which can turn into bullying and bossing around. But you need to work on this relationship with your father because this is what will make you move forward in life. What will help you in the direction of forgiving and accepting your father is developing your own solar qualities and the house of the sun--so focusing on faith and developing your true unique self and vocation and goals(Sun). When Rahu is with the Sun usually someone imposes these goals and what you should be like and role of the on you, but once you find your self, through your true career usually and having success with your goals, then the hurt Sun and relationship with father starts to mature and heal :) So your first and foremost obligation is towards following your own inspirations(Sun) and doing good things with these, and then you father will recognize these and start accepting you , so will you
