Programmer Boris is here! I had to get some floppy disks and a new drive to finish this video so it took 3 whole weeks to finish. But final product is better than ever!
In this video I am teaching to code in a very easy programming language - Python. Python is great for beginners and written in a very logical way. Once you learn the structure of this language, it can be applied to other coding languages as well.
This tutorial shows how to use "if", "else", "while" and some basic functions.

believe or not this is a very effective way to teach programming to beginners.
This actually helped me a bit. Boris is a wizard blyat.
yeah that's how i started learning python
yea it could be very effective, not the way i learned python but definitely a fun way so would work
He HAS to make more videos like this, my friends would finally understand the “While your out, buy some milk” joke
the vid gives a goal for the program, which most tutorial fails to do
I'm not gonna lie, as a programmer, this is actually a good tutorial
@Hatake Kakashi That's called *slavic oriented programming*
I was thinking the same thing. Best tutorial I have seen for a simple Python program.

Can confirm that python does not bite.
It bites, when you have to follow the traceback of an error and it tells you that it starts from Mars.
@@Uponn1 it bites when you transfer 2.6 to 3.1
@@Uponn1 That happens in Java too, it's not the program, it's your shitty coding skill.
@@davidmarkovian2794 You haven't written in either Java or Python to know what I am talking about. :)
@@Uponn1 I have been using Java at Uni for the past 3 years, and this summer switched to Python for my bachelor's thesis. Python tracebacks are as readable as Java's, but Java tracebacks are extremely bad in frameworks like Spring, JSF. But that sums web programming up in general IMHO. Probably Python Django or other web frameworks are about as bad, too.

Boy, i kinda hate java syntax, and this part made me smile
It made us all smile *Soviet national anthem starts"
The syntax is about the only thing I like about Java. I hate the Python syntax with a passion though. Braces (with auto-indentation) are way better than just using indentation imo. Also, while not using typecasting makes writing code for yourself a lot easier, it's a hell if you have to work with code that someone else has written.
@@HALOWEENTHER brazil is the russia of south america
@@cageybee7221 yes yes it is! thanks to papa hardbassov
@qwertyuiopzxcfgh I like the Python syntax, except for the indentation. I much prefer C# and C++ syntax. I really love doing simple text output in C++ because the Output stream is very easy to work with and to insert variables into. Java can die in a fire, it should have died in the 90s but retarded business managers fell for the OOP is the future meme and now we're essentially forced to use OOP for everything.

Boris explained python better than my first instructors, good job
@Vitor Cavalcanti Boris use text editor PyCharm you can download it for free
@Vitor Cavalcanti The python exe? That installs python and it sounds like you've already ran it. If so what you do now is create a new project in PyCharm and then add a .py file to the project like Boris does in the video.
Right but this be like the hello world program 😂
@Vitor Cavalcanti I think you need at least a basic computer understanding before starting programmation, this is just an advice
@Vitor Cavalcanti Download pycharm and create a new project. .py files are Python files, and the .exe is a program. You don't open exes, they are made to be runnable but not editable (you just regenerate them again and again on code changes). For Python, you'll in 95% of cases just run the .py file. Checkout some Python docs for an introduction to Python. And good luck! Programming is great

As a programmer who learned Java first, I can safely say you've given the most accurate summary of the learning process to date.
Merlin I had to start with C++. To compare it to the analogy of Boris, think before you could ride your bike you had to build it first using only a spoon and a and a rubber chicken. And once you learned the language the street you are riding on goes into nirvana (because you forgot to set one pointer correctly and got a segmentation error on runtime)
@superbobich
C++ was one of my first programming languages too. But I like the syntax of Java much more. (no hate)
@superbobich C++ is a mighty beast to start with, but it becomes worth it once you grasp it. The greatest thing about C++ is that you can get away with only learning a tiny amount of what the language offers and still have a versatile set of tools to work with. My favorite thing in C++, besides the output stream from the standard library, is that I can write C code and use C libraries. Though I did start with Visual Basic .NET (one of the worse languages) and PHP beforehand, so I was surprised to be handed so much power with C++ when I got to it.

"Starting learning programming with java is like learning to ride a bike at two years old but there is no safety wheels and the tires have deflated, and the bike is on fire. and on top of all that your're going uphill"
Is this a personal attack or something ?!
No. As someone who uses Java every day, this statement is 100% true.
Rilesmiles456 it isnt at all. java has lots of mechanism to prevent you from fucking up badly, its not C lol
When I started I just used this software called netbeans helped me a lot :p
Sounds more like describing C++ or PHP to me.
@@felixs6795 what? I'm learning C, and though i have almost no knowledge in Java, i can already see that C is way easier than Java! Java is unnecessarily complicated, to print a simple line you have to write that ugly "System.out.println". And why the hell Java have a virtual machine?
C, Python, etc. >>>>>> Java lol
