    Programmer Boris is here! I had to get some floppy disks and a new drive to finish this video so it took 3 whole weeks to finish. But final product is better than ever!
    In this video I am teaching to code in a very easy programming language - Python. Python is great for beginners and written in a very logical way. Once you learn the structure of this language, it can be applied to other coding languages as well.
    This tutorial shows how to use "if", "else", "while" and some basic functions.

      The syntax is about the only thing I like about Java. I hate the Python syntax with a passion though. Braces (with auto-indentation) are way better than just using indentation imo. Also, while not using typecasting makes writing code for yourself a lot easier, it's a hell if you have to work with code that someone else has written.

I really love doing simple text output in C++ because the Output stream is very easy to work with and to insert variables into. Java can die in a fire, it should have died in the 90s but retarded business managers fell for the OOP is the future meme and now we're essentially forced to use OOP for everything.

      @Vitor Cavalcanti Download pycharm and create a new project. .py files are Python files, and the .exe is a program. You don't open exes, they are made to be runnable but not editable (you just regenerate them again and again on code changes). For Python, you'll in 95% of cases just run the .py file. Checkout some Python docs for an introduction to Python. And good luck! Programming is great

      Merlin I had to start with C++. To compare it to the analogy of Boris, think before you could ride your bike you had to build it first using only a spoon and a and a rubber chicken. And once you learned the language the street you are riding on goes into nirvana (because you forgot to set one pointer correctly and got a segmentation error on runtime)

    • @comicsans1689
      @comicsans1689 5 років тому +7

      @superbobich C++ is a mighty beast to start with, but it becomes worth it once you grasp it. The greatest thing about C++ is that you can get away with only learning a tiny amount of what the language offers and still have a versatile set of tools to work with. My favorite thing in C++, besides the output stream from the standard library, is that I can write C code and use C libraries. Though I did start with Visual Basic .NET (one of the worse languages) and PHP beforehand, so I was surprised to be handed so much power with C++ when I got to it.

      Used to have shitty old computer that doubled as a heater if you ran anything even remotely taxing. One day I tried playing Space Engineers and it got so hot you could use the graphics card as a hotplate to boil tea on. I opened up the case and pointed my fucking desk fan on it, didn't help much. In the end the whole thing fried itself, graphics card and motherboard were just fucking ded.
