Cartoon Network's Schedule is BAD

- You guys wanted it, here it is. Cartoon Network RANT on their current schedule. With the recent abundance of Teen Titans Go!, it leaves the channel with not much breathing room in terms of airing other content. What are they to do? That 2000 cartoon network schedule should be boomerangs schedule now
For the explanation of the schedule starting at 1am, Discovery has changed the system of the channels and the schedule, and the schedule is 4 hours ahead.
This CN Rant video is great! Checkered Past is one reason Adult Swim carries hard.
The Goonies is part of the Acme Night block which is Sundays. Acme Night is the strangest block on CN right now, it's aired all kinds of movies on there, Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies, Back to the Future Parts 1-3, Shrek movies, Man of Steel, Shazam!, Men In Black 1-3, etc. you can look up the rest. They even put airings of Family Matters and Wipeout on Acme Night one time. You wouldn't believe it 'til you saw it. Acme Night was originally part of Cartoon Network but since [adult swim] gained extra hours, Acme Night is now part of [adult swim].
Yeah, that 2000 schedule was absolutely stacked, right in the middle of my favorite era of all time (Powerhouse). Adult Swim didn't even exist yet (which debuted in September 2001), and because there were no social media or streaming in that time period, everything you got was thru cable networks, so that 2000 schedule was a completely different time.
Sounds like an amazing Movie block.
Also, yeah I get that it was a different time, but I still don't see how variety would do anything but help the channel. Instead of constant airings of Gumball, air a couple. Then people want to see more? They're in luck, head go Maz and watch Gumball to their hearts content. Same goes for all the other shows. Air a variety of shows and then offer Max subscriptions if they want more of a certain show. Seems like a win-win to me.

March 2000, 18 months before Adult Swim started on September 2nd 2001.
Back then we had more classic after classic 30 min schedule of shows with new episodes for cartoon cartoon Friday’s
I like the variety, it's the timeslots for these shows that need to be better.
Also eliminate the marathons of shows and leave the preschool block to Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. Cartoon network has tried that before and failed. That is not and will never be their lane
But Cartoonito US was cn's potential, they literally got the most successful shows on there. Batwheels literally became a hit.
You may not be able to trust Cartoon Network's schedule, but I can trust Jamie Snowden's videos to always be awesome stuff.
Leave it to Adult Swim of all things to breathe some life to their dying network.
Meanwhile, look at the lineup of Nickelodeon.

This is why the line schedule of their channel back then was all about the premiere and back to back of different shows with new episodes instead of rense and repeating marathon.
At least they improved sorta with giving regular show and we bare bears more re-runs but its WAY BETTER THAN WHAT WAS SEEN IN THIS VIDEO
Reason for that is
1. CN ratings been declining post-2013
2. The past president of Cartoon Network, Christina Miller killed the Network with Teen Titans go and cancelled young justice.
3. It started going downhill around 2007 as soon as they started doing live action shows and made CN Real as a Block, the only CN Shows came out that time was Chowder and Flapjack
4. It got worse as soon as Adult Swim started taking hours away from CN making it not a 24 hour channel anymore
Adult Swim isn’t even the issue with CN losing hours and it’s how shitty CN got and shot themselves in the foot with the horrible variety before the changes done the current president did.
The live action was a dedicated block, no one says that though

You really should take a look at the Boomerang schedule again. They made it worse and removed kids next door and powerpuff girls
Hopefully it results in both shows being on Checkered Past.
Update: I doubt the 2 shows will air on Checkered Past considering the PPG reboot (by the original creator) and KND’s plot involving kids against adults.

They shoulda did the schedule mixing 2000s-1990s and 2010s shows equally
well at least there bringing back Scooby-Doo for there schedule
Hopefully the expectations I have with Michael Oweleeen are worth it, we are almost 2024 and we need to know CN's plans for the future with new productions

When you said wait a minute thrice, I paused the video for three minutes and then resumed. Stupid, huh? But yeah, Cartoon Network just keeps on planning to go under.

Honestly, regarding one how CN's new schedule is like nowadays with constant repeats of The Amazing World of Gumball for… IDK what kind of reason, with one simple and easy question to ask:
Why “fix” something that isn't broken?
I like it the video I mean the schedule is terrible
it's mainly Adult Swim that does the Checkered Past block which is Great honestly more hours for Adult Swim is Great and for the better
Adult Swim deserves more hours and even a 24 channel would be great considering how great they are in ratings and their library of shows in their archives.
I personally like most of the weekday and sunday schedule. But the weekdays definitely have Way too much gumball. That time could've been used to air Classic Looney Tunes in the morning and include the shows from the 2000s for the afternoon. The overuse of Gumball is especially annoying on Saturdays.

CN CEE's schedule is worst especially the late night in my opinion. Just fully spamming gumball from 9PM-6AM everyday.

Cartoon Network has becamed this network of gumball and ttg. I'm okay with CN, Their shows aren't bad but yeah, Gumball and TTG was my worst cn shows ever made because they made it too annoying to watch and make stupid shows to not air older ones. The lineup has improved, but for me. CN is okay now. I stopped watching the channel with TTG and Gumball being played on the TV too much.
