I don't think this is a good choice for Astro, F3.5 is very limiting, even with F2 I found myself quite limited until I got an F1.4 lens. It is a technical achievement this lens but I still don't really know what it is for. For a dramatic effect, sure, but portraits, no, vlogging I think 12mm or 13mm is better, real estate maybe but it's quite extreme, 10mm or 11mm is better I think, indoor it is OK but a bit slow if lighting isn't great, street you have to be so close to people it's not very conspicuous. It is a similar focal length to a GoPro and that one is used for action which this isn't really well suited to. I don't understand this lens.

Some people used to do astro with a 18-55 kit lens on a dslr, so you can do it on this one for sure.

Well using very wide angle and applying the 500 rules let use less luminous lenses

@@tambokpatikan3700 You can, but there are better options for astro at a third of the price. I'm very impressed with it technically but still kinda scratching my head where I would use a lens like this, or rather where a lens like this would be most optimal.
