New York is a very green city, fyi. It is not just concrete forest. It is among a reputed balance btwn urban development and forests preservation in the world.
You talk of Kampala's nature, look at the suburb of Kampala vs the beautiful, tree-lined residential in NY.
Swamps are drained and buildings constructed uphazardly, bad roads, old vehicles emmiting CO gas, plastic waste out of control, dysfunctional sewerage system....and u think NY is a terrible place, environmentwise? Think again!
Oh, I forgot to mention Central Park in NY. Google it, and show me anything similar in Kampala!
