I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living outside the Philippines due to job assignment. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my UA-cam Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club president and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others may actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have come to a point of trying to find a greater purpose in life, something beyond just being happy for a moment. Happiness in life is more meaningful if we choose to be useful, be honorable, be compassionate, and make a difference.

Here are some notes about NCT that may be helpful for your future reactions on them
So NCT as of today has 23 members (10 koreans and 13 foreigners). They consist of 3 main separate units and 1 united unit.
NCT U - all members can be in this unit depending in the concept of the song that fits the members chosen. For the NCT 2020 project the leader for all of them is Taeyong.
NCT 127 - 127 is the longlitude of Seoul Korea and this unit mainly promotes in Korea and in 2019 they expanded to the US. This unit consists of 9 fixed members with their leader Taeyong.
NCT DREAM - this unit consists of the younger brothers in NCT. They debuted with a very cute concept but now they’re concept has transitioned to suit their growing age. Consists of fixed 7 members as of 2020.
WayV - this is the china sub unit of NCT. Consists of 7 fixed members with 6 chinese members and 1 member from Thailand which is Ten. They mostly promote in China since their debut in 2019 but last year due to the pandemic they have been promoting in Korea.
4 of the NCT members (Taeyong(127), Mark(127 & Dream) Ten(WayV) and Lucas(WayV) has combined with Kai and Baekhyun from EXO also Taemin from Shinee to form a group named SuperM which is also under SM Entertainment. This group debuted in the US back in 2019. This group is a global group and mainly promotes in the US. Their first ever appearance was on the Ellen Show.

you might want to check out "DOYOUNG AND HEACHAN'S DUET OF COVER OF "CINTA LUAR BIASA." Heachan is my bias as his voice is so unusual for a kpop idol. SM is good at finding extremely talented kids. SuperJunior, EXO and NCT SUPERM Shinee etc are great examples. They are not so good at protecting them and pretty much work them to death. But I am hooked on their work.

NCT has many great songs but this song is my favorite. I know what the song is talking about because I read the translation but what’s weird is that I don’t have any experience like that but this song can make me cry like literally I am in tears. I just very sad that when I watched them in Japan JungWoo my biased was taking a hiatus so it was just Taeil, DoYoung, JaeHyun and HaeChan who performed. So since Jungwoo wasn’t present it really made me cry all the more. Then in another show HaeChan wasn’t present so it was just the 3 of them singing. Most of the Japanese NCTzens were really said specially those who are HaeChan biased cause he was in Japan and got sick. So it was only 8 of them performing. Yes, DoYoung was emotional singing this maybe because it was their first concert. The Origin is the title of the concert tour, they also did the same song in Japan and it’s another experience listening to that version. In case you didn’t know NEO City Seoul: The Origin has a live CD. I really admire groups who can release LIVE concert performance. That’s SM flexing their talents. HAHAHA. NCT 127 is a sub-unit of NCT and the 127 is the longitude for Seoul. This isn't all of NCT 127 though, just the vocalists for this performance.
EXO and NCT are very close. One other members, Johnny, actually trained with EXO.

I love NCT too. They have great ballads well most SM artists are good at ballads. Their vocal training probably are insane. I recommend you react to NCT 127's live version of "Back 2 U" it's one of my favorite.

Incase someone hasn't mentioned yet, No longer is more focused on emotions. It is about the fans. One day, fans will grow out of NCT or drift away just like any other groups all over the world. It's normal. The line "She no longer needs me" is very heartbreaking to hear. I remember tearing up at the office when I first heard this.
