An external antenna module would technically help, but only to quite a limited extent in the case of jamming. The Flipper Zero itself is not very powerful in the first place to be producing high-powered concentrated ″noise″ for an external antenna to be as effective. A less simpler set-up involving an amplifier module + external power (if necessary) could be significantly effective though.

Curious AF question! Understand that the external CC1101 module people are hooking their Zeros up with is literally the same radio module the Zero comes with internally. They just add the external module so they could then attach an _external antenna_ to it. Secondly, when you add the external radio module via GPIO, it's that external radio module _itself_ that does the transceiving. With the signal strength of the Flipper Zero, that shouldn't be possible. I have tried jamming my friend's car (with their permission), and I had to place the Flipper right on the receiver (on the windshield, right above the blinking anti-theft light on the dashboard) to successfully jam it.
@@shurikenhacks that's interesting. I've definitely jammed within 10 feet, minimum Tested on my vehicle, and brothers vehicle, not using an external antenna either
@@joshymoffet Oh, interesting-er and interesting-er! I've never been able to jam a car's receiver at a distance like that. And since jamming works against receivers, not transmitters, you cannot be jamming the remote either... Are both the vehicles you tested the same make/model?

@@joshymoffet Whoops, your comment was somehow on hold. Consider a triangle ABC. If you (jammer) and the key fob are both at A and fairly distant from the vehicle at B, I reckon the jamming works for you since the signal from the key fob is being drowned out by the jammer's signals originating from essentially the same point (A→B) as far as the receiver is concerned. Now, if you (jammer) are at A, the vehicle's at B, and the key fob's at C―which is a more practical and realistic attack scenario―then the power/range on the jammer would have to be significantly higher to be jamming C→B signals effectively.
No. Most the frequency bands for 2G and above operate at frequencies higher than the Flipper Zero is capable of receiving and transmitting. Also, please note that jamming phones is ridiculously illegal in most regions.

You legend! 🫀
Is there no way to boost the signal?
An external antenna would technically help, but only to quite a limited extent in the case of jamming. The Flipper Zero itself is not very powerful in the first place to be producing high-powered concentrated ″noise″ for an external antenna to be as effective.
A less simpler set-up involving an amplifier module + external power (if necessary) could be significantly effective though.
This may be a dumb question (I do not have a Flipper) but is it possible to download the files if you have a malware like Xtreme?
Xtreme is not malware. 😂
And yes, you can download and use the files with any firmware as long as the frequency restrictions are unlocked (which would need custom firmware such as Unleashed, Xtreme, etc.).
@@shurikenhacksOh shit thats fucking embarrassing 😂 I meant firmware of cours I'm sorry. 😂
Well thank you very much for your reply and your new video is great. Keep it up man!
Nice bro 🎉 Chilean!! Hehe
Last video I watched on jamming they literally picked up the dev board and spread a layer of jam 🍯 on it lmao 🤣
No way! That's my type of idiotic humor. 😂
HOW DO I INSTALL THESE FILES?
GUIDE IN THE DESCRIPTION! MY GITHUB TOO!
That's odd, i can (hypothetically) jam cars a spot away from me. I mean my... Friend says i can. I don't jam anything because that'd be illegal
I've definitely jammed within 10 feet, minimum
Tested on my vehicle, and brothers vehicle, not using an external antenna either
@@joshymoffet Oh, interesting-er and interesting-er! I've never been able to jam a car's receiver at a distance like that. And since jamming works against receivers, not transmitters, you cannot be jamming the remote either... I'm beginning to think factors such as background radio noise, receiver strength(?), amplitude of the jamming wave, etc. may significantly impact the outcome then. Are both the vehicles you tested the same make/model?
@@shurikenhacksthey were two different make/models
One was a Chevy Cruze and one was a potiac Aztec
The other strange thing is that i can stand on my porch with my car within range of my key, but definitely not my flipper, and i can still stop the key from being able to unlock the car. I can send video proof if you've got a way for me to contact you?
Assuming you’re using unleashed firmware
A lil' better ― Xtreme Firmware.
Need a phone jammer instead lol
@@shurikenhacks Xtream Firmware Causing crash to The flipper while using the CC1101 attachment
i use unleash now also can BAD BT my Enemies
Try Momentum FW. It's my new daily-driver.
Got discord channel?
Not yet. _Should_ I? 👀
@@shurikenhacks yesss!! Please xD
Can this jam cellphones?
No. Most the frequency bands for 2G and above operate at frequencies higher than the Flipper Zero is capable of receiving and transmitting.
Also, please note that jamming phones is ridiculously illegal in most regions.
Dope!
Oohh that sync tho
_Person of culture!_
Dude that aint nothin.. I have jamming files from 300.00 to 928.88. Jam anything I want
What if you use the the external option how far can you do ?
That would solely depend on the externally attached antenna's transmit strength (they come in various).
Mad steez.. Got a sub from me hombre \m/
Key fobs
Raspberry Pi
goodjob
Wifi dev board
This was hardly education or even helpful, why not explain how the jamming code works? Or even better, how to go from capturing a raw signal to creating an opposing signal that could jam it?
Love me some constructive criticism. This is dope, and noted. Thanks, dawg! :)
Its kind of stupid , whats the point
