Vail Powder Day Ski Colorado 12/2/2023

Big powder day at Vail Ski Resort in Colorado. 5" overnight and it's still coming down. There's a lot more early season terrain open now and it's a great day to be out. The day is windy and cold, but who cares when the snow is so fresh? The sun tried to poke through a couple of times, but just couldn't seem to get there. Time to get your turns in. Have fun!

I miss Vail. I used to ski there often, now I'm in New England. At least I'm skiing.

Looks a fun resort, thou the cost of getting there from here in Britain, plus accommodation etc. and the insane lift pass cost isn't. As for the runs, I see saplings and grass sticking through, so the cover isn't that deep as yet.
