Not sure if u no where I mean but there’s a bench somewhere overlooking the entire island and lake that you have to hike to? I’m going to Lake Bled in May is this spot difficult to hike or get to?
I wish this video was made just a few weeks earlier. We definitely would have made time to stay at Lake Bled much longer. But, now I have an excuse to return to Slovenia. Thanks for the video!

I am planning to visit Crotia and Sloivenia this summer , and of Course Bled Lake, and have a swim there , I am wondering if it is better to stay in Ljubljana and visit the lake as a day trip or stay n Bled and visit Ljubljana from there ... Could yoiu advise me ?
Depends... If you stay in Bled Lake and you have some time to kill you can swim in the lake. On the other hand Ljubljana offers more cultural things, restaurants, shops,... But in any case they are not far apart so both options are good. But if you plan to also visit other places in Slovenia and do more day trips, Ljubljana is a much better option.
Excellent work on this video! This is on my bucket list of places to visit and of all the videos on Lake Bled that I've watched, this was the most helpful and informative. Appreciated the nice variety of viewing perspective from around the island!
I have being there a few years ago. It was one of my favorite places, peaceful, the island is great! To claim all the steps and get a delicious ice cream. See the swans flooting in the lake..it is a dream, beautiful experience!

on a sunday is it possible to go to the lake in the morning by bus from ljubljiana bus station and return from the lake back to Ljubljiana by afternoon?I'm kind of concerned how i will get back to ljubljiana from the lake..if there are bus routes on a sunday etc

Thanks. Glad you like it. Unfortunately steps are the only way as far as I remember. There are 2 stairways, each one on the opposite side of the church.

Thanks for asking. In my opinion it is to cold to swim in the lake until mid June. But for visiting and hiking mid May is perfect and not to crowded.
