- It's the final showdown with Cortex and it's another really cool fight. After some practice, I think this one is a bit easier than his other battle, since it's not as chaotic. Only the final part can be a little annoying. After the battle, we watch the normal ending and then I just let the credits run in case there would be any more shenanigans, but there's nothing after 8:17. At 23:15, you can see what I unlocked for beating the game and I also get a reminder that there's still a lot more to do. As if I need to discover the perfect relics, though ;)
RIP Mel Winkler. He was a huge part of my childhood as Warped was amongst my first few games ever. Wrath Of Cortex and Twinsanity I also played a lot while growing up, Mel Winkler will always be *the* iconic Aku Aku voice for me.
May he be remembered fondly
"Afraid of the searing deadly láser "? Proceeds to bellystomp the hard metal like nothing... i think he is NOT scared. Also, that disclaimer at the end was BEAUTIFUL! The events ocurred in this game are canon, unless you didnt like them, in that case it was all just a dream. Just pure gold comedy that we all love in a crash game. RIP Aku Aku originals voice actor.

That's the end of the main story and what a fantastic game it's been. Kinda sad it's over, but there's still a lot more to do. I will now take the rest of the weekend off and I'll be back monday with flashback tapes.

So it came to full circle when Crash pressed the button at 4:36, the experiment failed and Crash from the past escaped.
Crash just create a time loop.
At least we know why the younger version didn't use that against Crash during his first boss battle against him...so he was the architect of his own repeated failures.
i found funny as hell how cortex gets hitted several Times by crates just how crash missed some in the 1 game
I thought the boss fight would take 23 mins long, but it was only 3 mins short. The credits was just really super long

Kind of a missed opportunity that they hyped up oxide in a level but don't do anything with it.
Would be really interesting to have a boss fight with oxide that is not CTR.
Because if you think about it? They haven't made oxide or the CNK bosses part of an actual crash.
