The war against Yankee Imperialism continues to this day. Long live the memories of the St Patricks Battalion...Erin Go Bragh!!!!
Poor Mexico, so far from God and so close to the United States ... Porfirio Diaz
North- or South America?
This would be an absolute route.
Too bad, Mexico could have won the war if they updated weapons, especially their artillery. And if the Centralistas, Monarchists and Republicanos weren't killing each other.
Long live England and Mexico!
All brave mens
viva Mexico greetings from Belgium, some countrymen went to Mexico during "the French intervention in Mexico"
The Yaqui fled to Arizona to escape massacres from the Federales in Sonora as late as 1904. Refugees are fleeing still.
I am Irish and born and reared in San Antonio. Seems like a lot of soldiers to take down 188 ranchers, farmers and craftsmen. But then again all the defenders were true Texans. That's why it took Santa Anna's army of 5,000 13 days to overwhelm these heroic souls. An act of which soon brougth him and his army their demise.
GOD BLESS THE MEMORY OF THE SAN PATRICIOS
México será genial de nuevo!
