As someone who took SPM in 2021, these questions are the simplest questions of each subject….
U should try our olevels lol
@@Dramione21237 SPM is O-Level equivalent
@@NaownHibink the O levels is significantly harder than SPM. I am a Secondary school teacher who actually saw the equivalent paper in Malaysia for my subject when I randomly visited a bookstore there.
@@NaownHibink nah Olevels are much harder.
@@huaiwei what’s with SG obsession with The hard level of School leaving certificate exam. In the end of day, it’s education
These questions are very simple, SPM 2021 was seriously hard, you guys should try that paper instead, many addmath questions were hard especially paper 1. I just like that is a better representation of what Malaysian kids have to be tested on nowadays.
The questions in this video are mostly 1mark questions in objective.
We don't talk about add maths paper 1 2021. It is against the 04 batch's prophecy.
@@ryantzl3199 * war flashbacks intensifies *
Mom I survived SPM 2021 addmaths
don't worry. in msia the papers are hard but passing marks are low. 🤣
I sat for spm 2021 n yes addmaths paper was hard n traumatising 😭
SPM isn't the hardest in Malaysia for high school leavers. It's STPM, UEC or A-Levels.
In fact, it's easy. I spent very little time studying it yet I scored very well.
SPM is high school, STPM counts more as undergrad
@@chatella_nutella9017 no, spm is not high school.
@@jflee9918 spm is high school and stpm/a-levels/matriks and the like are considered as college as is equivalent in the UK. since our school system is quite UK-oriented their "high school" is just upper sec, which is form 4 and 5 in malaysia. so yes, spm is high school diploma.
STPM... form 6
All malaysian student must take spm....not all of us take stpm, uec and A-level..it just our own choice...
Brenda isn’t wrong abt the potato chips though 😂
Yeah technically that's true.
Yeah tbh the question is worded very poorly if they want you to answer 2. She isn't wrong that the most important step is 4 since u ofc need to fry them to get crispy! I chose 4 as well
Yeah, but critical thinking isn't what they want 😭
@@dingus42 it cant fry properly to crisps without the wetting process making it more important on that side. How can I say? mom tried to make her own potato chip, she didnt wet it and we had burnt one
As a Malaysian that has worked in Singapore with a Singaporean SO, I was a top scorer in secondary without much effort at all. (I’m really trying not to sound arrogant, I am extremely mediocre at best, but Chinese parents really push u to score which is probably why I did really well- I’m not trying to put down others who did not have the same privilege or had family issues such as monetary issues etc) SPM was really easy for me, and I can’t even imagine how easy it would’ve been for my Singaporean friends. Personally STPM papers were the hardest exams I’ve ever done, with the time constraints and the stress that came with CCA. I showed some form five (spm) papers to my SO (who is the smartest person I know 😂) and he said most of the syllabus is covered in Singapore when the kids are 12-14 🥹
SPM is actually hard tho especially add math
Aida and Renae still turned out to be brilliant human beings despite Aida having a more easy uni life and Renae having a less demanding primary school curriculum.
Makes me wonder if all the stress we put our students through is really worth it.
If i know that it would be alright in the end i will definitely choose the easier path. Less fuss. Less complaining. Less resistance to life in general.
this is appreciated but a little simplistic, right? it's cool that some people are just making youtube content and allowing us to laugh, but someone needs to understand where the semiconductors go inside the phones or what specifications are needed for desalinating water hor.
it is nothing but a sign of absolutely incredible privilege that we can think "oh maybe dont need all that", it means that the stressed and smart ones who are responsible for this incredible quality of life we experience are going through a whole 'nother level quietly
If u even have to wonder, that shows you are taking things for granted.
One possible reason this was hard for them is that they didn’t take the subject or they forgot the concept despite taking the subject when they were schooling.
should get local secondary school students to try
Yes.
yes
I wanna try
I think you could also start with High Order Thinking Skills questions in primary school. See how crazy they are.
Can I just say, that these questions are not really representative of “SPM” questions though. A.Math (if it is additional math) for example, there’s integration and differentiation and so much more, um ??? SO if people say it is “too easy” well, it’s because it is not even accurate. Sorry, a bit salty, but I am Malaysian and i know out education system isn’t the greatest but it is not that easy okay, and sometimes the subject material is hard but the bellcurve makes it easy because there’s so many underperformers, unfortunately and it is through no fault of their own, not everyone has equal opportunities to excel at school.
it's ok, I'm pretty sure the syllabus in msia and sg is similar and they purposely chose the much easier qns cuz some of these were definitely primsry school level
@@areebah8297 i admit in SG is much more competitive and all, i get that but yeah the misrepresentation here is just a little unfair 🥲🥲 but thanks for your kind reply
I couldn't agree more
Frfr
@@sophieyong2520 not only that. Our population is bigger than Sg so the education system is struggling. Teachers here have more stressful environment compare to sg.
u should give Bahasa Melayu Spm level paper test to that Malay guy hahah
HAHAHAHAHAHA SHHH
No lah. He took higher malay. You should try our OLevels english paper.
@@Dramione21237 tbh i can sleep through English and still get an A solid atleast
i’m SPM students for 2022 😭😭 wish me luck guyssss ❤️❤️
Good luck!
I took my o levels over a decade ago, i feel like this was much easier than o levels…
Try STPM then.
these questions are literally the easiest ones in the paper
no shit bro obv sg o lvls are gna be much harder
@@Absolut531kmh the equivalent paper in SG is still harder than that.
Can someone please explain me what is A level or O lever etc
The first question is straightforward. When estimating the sum rounding up to 10s, always add an extra zero on the sum.
yay!
For someone who is form 5, this video is a stress reliever
Good luck. After spm x guna pun sgt actually, we'll depends on what u will take later
G.luck on your spm
Goodluck bro, im taking spm next year
If this was SG 'O' Levels, I wouldn't even need to study to pass well sia...
the question was quite easy tho but ok
@@ikito9917 , umm that's exactly what I meant.
Idk man this seems like an outdated SPM compare to 2021 SPM fr.
Wow I’m quite early for once leh
STPM is the most difficult, not SPM.
but STPM is not high school leaving examination, STPM is uni entry examination
@@patrickm4529 Wrong STPM is not Uni Entry exam. You can still enter uni with SPM. STPM is the Malaysia version of GCSE A-Level taken by those who want to skip Diploma and make their study journey a bit shorter.
@@pakcikpingu3751 Nowadays you can't enter uni straight away with SPM. You need to take a pre-uni course like A Levels, matrikulasi, Form 6 (STPM), etc.
@@phadenswandemil4345 yeah.............when i this year literally enter university with just SPM
@@pakcikpingu3751 Hmm none of my friends were able to enter uni straight away. What you are studying and where if you don't mind sharing?
question 4 is Y also because it’s in group 2 and group 2 is all metals right??
im a form 3 student and i can say those questions are extremely easy ex : questions 1 we learn that in lower form while question 2 we learn it during standard 6 bro .....
I think they just forgot what they were taught. I’m an sec 2 student in Sg rn (8th grade/ form 2). I was taught this when I was pri 5-6 (5th- 6th grade) . (Qn 5). For question 1 we learnt it at sec 1 (7th grade)
question 1 we learnt it in form 1 or primary 6 like that in singapore its literally so simple
Question 2 can be easily a 6 to 10 marks question. Never liked bio essay 😭 and add maths😢
I'm sitting for o levels this year and I could do all of this except the vitamin k question bc I answered thrombokinase/prothrombin/thrombin
Question 2 has more than 1 answer, honestly step 1 can be the answer as well, because the slicing also determines the rate of water loss from the potato. Really depends on how you explain lor
I share the same brain cell as Brenda because potatoes need to be fried to become potato chips 🤣🤣
It's either I never learned, or I completely forgot about matrices. And looking at solution, it's no wonder.
07:29 Aida’s reaction is priceless! 😂
Q5. student withdrew from 2nd to 33rd week. "find the number of weeks', answer should be "32 weeks"?
"in which the work was completed", im pretty sure they started working during the 1st week lmao
For question 5 can use arithmetic progression, first term 150, common difference is -4,
Tn=22
150 + (n-(-4)) = 22
150 - 4n = 22
4n = 150 -22
4n = 128
n = 32
Answer 32nd week
Bro, you forgot to add 1 at the final step
For question 5, as a primary student, it was so easy! Idk why, I’m so young it’s 32 week + 1 week
Yay! Finally new content from TSL. I hope TSL will have talent search 2022 (FUN FACT I GET TO KNOW TSL FROM A CHANNEL CALLED OUTCAST) 😄 Brenda said Gordon Ramsey will be strict in all steps about potato chips 🤣 Sew reaction to maths 🤣
For me I used to know how to do these questions but I forgot it.
8:07 That 0.2 seconds of pride
This isnt rlly related but im taking my N lvls in less than a month, right after sept hols. 😭😭 Finished my prelims like 1-2 weeks ago
good luck! i am also taking o levels this year i hope u get to ur dream courses/school :D
Me too :'D I'm taking N lvls but have SBB math-I regret the decision deeply but it's too late now😭
jiayou!! I'm taking o levels and we're in the middle of prelims rn
there would only be like a few of these simple questions in spm I'm pretty sure it gets rly hard once u reach part b and c in the paper
I believe if they study beforehand these questions will be easy.... I also didn't study these things for years and already forget even the basic concept...
5/6
5 was just general maths knowledge im sobbing
yall should try the kssm version
When we go to sec 3 we are to chose our subjects and we’re forced to take English Chinese Social studies and E math and damn I was also forced to take A math which the steroid version of E math and then I had to take a humanities and at least physics but I also took Chem
i remember taking the SPM back in 2015. been a while now so i can't really for sure which parts are easy and which aren't. idk about you guys but i definitely didn't get no straight As here lol. I'm quite a dumbo lol. i think mine was like 5 As out of 10?
my math prelim paper 2 that i took ystd made me cry during the exam paper 1 so ez paper 2 die
I recommend u guys try Brunei PSR (primary school leaving examination) people say it's hard because you need to finish 60-80 question in only 1 hour and the banks, army and goverment gives you 25 SGD each subject you ace.
why ace in exam bank give you money?
no way, psr is too easy and the grade boundaries are low. once you get into secondary, the exams will be much more complicated especially o levels. 🤷🏻♀️
@@scncdv I dont know but it just gives u money
“WHAT IS MATRIC?” this one got me 💀😂
STPM is the hardest exam in Malaysia. Spm is just high school final exam. That's why people thought it hardest exam
I think they just forgot ah- the 1st qn sec 1 got learn Sia- then like qn 5 is like common knowledge
Next year is my biggest exam which is spm
Omg Renae hahahah
HAHAHAHAHA Question 2 is the exact question I got for my SPM. I remember everyone got a laugh out of it
Which batch are u?
@@johnesj2506 2016
@@koonhui2526 that's mean u had graduated from uni
@@johnesj2506 yeah I just graduated uni
@@koonhui2526 so that's mean that this video is using outdated SPM LOL. 2021 SPM is hell. As a 04 batch, these question aren't that hard imo.
I find the question relatively easy. Potatoes part was due to personal experience making potato chips heeeheee.
The questions are really easy though...
PSLE vs SPM? Wtf? Kudos to the channel for thinking of new ways to trigger Sg and My.
if you know anything about cooking, step 3 is the most important. that was a classic question from my batch. i've been cooking for long enough to say that osmosis won't do jack shit.
a bit funny for a science topic to completely ignore actual science (america's test kitchen have done so many experiments about moisture and frying, you dont have to take my word for it).
This is surprisingly easy. Sorry I'm old heheh...
You guys should try STPM questions...
Singapore also got PSLE leh
Actually W is also a metal . Those in group 4 are transition metals
W is actually carbon, which is not a metal
Q2 macam actually keluar eh in my batch
Try stpm, i am a stpm student now in sem2, just finished the physics exam today. I am curious to see how their opinion about this exam. 😂🤣it is torturous basically
But STPM is like pre-uni exam not national school leaving.
try singaporean As 🥲
I think STPM is more suitable to be compare to A level not O level. SPM can be compare to O level. It is different level of education.
😲
😮
ykw as secondary student , form 4 it was like very easy question i wish my exam paper have that kind of question so i can score 😭
me as a SPM 2016 this question are easy😂😂.. but SPM 2020 and above when i solve it make me angry sometimes because the critical thinking part are so high level😂😂😂
im surprised that i can do these questions despite taking ig
Its just a math and not additional math question. Thats gonna be way tougher.
You should give them our SPM Chinese paper.
Second comment 💜
This were the easier ones of SPM. 😂 But I can't tell if it's the same now, mine was 2009 which was 13 years ago.
Try HKDSE (Hong kong’s university entrance exam)!!
SPM damn hard man for me
Zhin is so cute... 😍 attached? 😂😅
❣️first comment❣️
Smart singaporeans
Malaysians kene faham, dorg 16 thun amik o level. O level dorg lebih susah dri spm yg kita amek time 17 thun. Jgn bwk STPM, sbb A level dorg 2-3 levels higher. Ni semua fakta so jgn terasa. Dorg mmg pentingkan pelajaran.
Lmao right
It's time to change the intro cover
fellow o level student here taking prelims
Nice.
same, jiayou!!
STPM : am I a joke to you?
U cld take another leavg school exam called stpm, it's almost like a-levl..
Thats was very easy. try spm 2021 its difficuld
As a 04 batch student, this video seems to have an outdated SPM compare to our new 2021 SPM version. 24,000 people failed SPM that year because it was hard asf compare to our older brothers and sisters when they took SPM before 2021. We didn't expect that at all. It's starting to get really competitive nowadays.
Like ez sia
Is not PSLE - Primary School Leaving Examination?
LCE is Lower Certificate of Examination, PMR Penilaian Menengah Rendah
SPM is Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia, MCE - Malaysia Certificate of Examination.
HSC is High School Certificate, STPM Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia.
usually the pra spm is a lot harder than the actual exam😅
Yep, aka Percubaan SPM
brenda looks like momo frm twice w the hair😭
Seriously are these real SPM questions? So easy! I would have aced it man! O level so difficult for what?!! Let's do SPM la!
They chose the most easiest questions 😂 try doing addmaths
olevel aint even that difficult….. compared to alevels
@@acurveruler4931 eh i find my A levels easier though. O level was more challenging in my opinion but it could be because my cohort was the batch that was, for the lack of better word 'overpopulated'.
@@jerryy1308 urghh i hate amaths. Hate calculus even more. 😂😂
lol these question they answered is like 2 marks subjective question or in paper 1 ofcourse its easy
bro i can do Q1 and Q5 easily as P5
Why not try out stpm.
Q5 is a psle question
7:06 not the psle question 😭
Bruh not Singaporeans overlooking the new syllabus' (KSSM) SPM 😭
5566 stans wooooooo!!!!!
tats amaths?
It’s notttt lol, they got it wrong. Idk who is picking the questions but it’s misrepresented, most are misrepresented here
bruh this is the most easy question, the newest spm question aren't even like this.
STPM is the hardest exam in Malaysia not SPM
love more Malysian realted content!!!
WellI got 56 in addM....😂
where is BM subject? singaporean should test this subject HEHEHEHEHEHEH
隔壁的叫ponponin她不代表不知道
8th! ❤️
Edit: math was my best
SPM is so easy la
These are easy level questions.. there are mote challenging spm questions than these
All malaysian hate add math😭😭
Would anyone believe that I managed to coached my 2 nephews (different year) get Grade A in addmaths even if I do not understand addmaths? Even with tuitions their marks were below 50%. I only had 2 months to polish up what they already know. Incredible I know.
