Thundermother didn't break up. They are continuing on with a new lineup. They just released a new music video a month ago called "I Left My License in the Future". It's kinda cringe and the new members seem like tryhards and it almost comes off as a parody of a female rock group rather than organic like The Gems are but they still exist. In name mostly but still......
Estoy deseando comprar vuestro disco.
Great chorus. Demona❤❤❤❤❤. All of you makes a great job of actresses here. ❤❤❤❤ good job for all and the production 👏🙌👍👌💪
YES!!! now that's what i'm talkin' bout!!! those harmonies make guernica's power stand out even more, and they sound fantastic. mona's guitar cuts through like a chainsaw, ripping and tearing. emlee plays those drums like she's firing canons on independence day. the gems are straight KILLIN' it!!! other rockers better watch out, there's a new sheriff in town
It's AWESOME! I'm a child of the 70's and 80's. Turning 13 in 1980, I cut my teeth on hard rock and NWOBHM and, believe it or not, back then, pre Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet, the critics were all saying it was just a fad and wouldn't last! Being naïve, I was so upset, thinking there wasn't going to be much past Priest's Screaming For Vengeance and Maiden's Number Of The Beast, thinking, NOOOO, it can't be! Well, critics probably made the worst blunder of their entire lives thinking that! Not only was it proven wrong later in the decade with the explosion of Glam Metal (It's not called Hair Bands) and metal in general, the next generation of rockers in their 20's an 30's are keeping the movement alive, despite the popularity of(nothing against them-not a hater) Taylor Swift, Rap and Hop Hop artists etc. At this rate, I'll be banging my head all the way to the grave!
@@cheezyridr Sory. That's an older term that us old guys used to use. It stands for New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. It is a blanket term to cover bands like Iron Maiden,, Saxon, Def Leppard, and all kinds of other British bands who were emerging around that time in the late 70's. It was coined around 1979 by a writer who wrote for a British metal magazine. The old wave would have been bands you may not think of as heavy metal but back in the day, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and even Judas Priest (who formed around '69/'70) were :Heavy Rock and the pre cursors to the term Heavy Metal.
"Thundermother mk1"" making an attempt to progress with a more sophisticated kind of Hard Rock. This will alienate some Thundermother fans, but to the objective ear, this is a fine tune. I like the lyrics, the structure, the harmonies and the arrangements. It's not perfect - the intro isn't attention-grabbing enough and the Swedish accents are in places too thick, but it's nevertheless a must for the Hard Rock playlist. I'll watch with interest whether this is an "experiment" or the direction the band is heading in. My Score: Very Good 4*
i was devastated when Thundermother broke up last year - turns out i had nothing to worry about

No they split! Gems and now a new version of Thundermother!

So they’re to blame for blocking the wind tunnel!
