Hands down this is best Christmas movie. I've watched all Christmas movies, new and old, and every time I hear this, I get a sense of adventure and mystery it actually feels magical. I love it. I wish we had more movies like this
I saw this with my cousin when he was in 5th grade, and not just that when the film first dropped 3 of his 5th grade school teachers got together and pitched in to bring the entire group to Jordans IMAX to see it in 3D. My cousin loves this film to today.
As many people have mentioned, the animation is bit rough on the edges, but considering it was the first motion capture film, I'd consider it one of the best Christmas films of the 21st century.

The magic of the movie must've had some effect because I watch this every year on Christmas Eve with some hot chocolate while decorating Santa's cookies. At the end, when the train leaves and the ghost waves goodbye, I break down into tears. That's what happens when you love a movie before you're even born.
