If you mean set up a UK pension whilst being resident in Spain? The answer is no. You could transfer an existing UK pension to an International SIPP whilst being a resident of Spain though...
And what can I do if I'm a Spanish living and working in the UK? I'm worried about the future because if I have to leave the UK in the future I could just lose all my pension :/
@@financespain664 yeah, I don't mean losing it completely, I mean not being able to get it if I'm not in the UK in the future, that's why I'm worried now, because with the Brexit approved, maybe one day I will have to leave, so a pension that I can transfer to another country would be great
Can you contribute to to international sipps from overseas?
Yes you can but unless you are a UK tax payer you will not receive tax relief on contributions. Hope that helps.
how and if I can register for the international pension not being resident in the UK? but yes being the resident of the EU?

Hi Alberto. It is highly unlikely you would lose your pension. The time to assess your options though is when you decide you are leaving the UK.
