- Two days after her sold-out show at Toronto's Massey Hall, Grammy- and BRIT-award-winning singer-songwriter Adele sat down with CBC's Arts Online for a short interview. The salt-of-the-earth soul chanteuse dishes the dirt on clinging to Coldplay at the Grammy Awards, writing songs for her next record (topics include: dating jerks, heartbreak) and the things she misses the most about Britain.

She had no clue that in a couple of years she was gonna be claimed as one of the most successful pop stars of our century. And that after a decade in 2021 she is still up there if not even further. Bless her she deserves it

i love how she talks so insanely much and it's still interesting and funny, and she doesnt sound full of herself at all. i love watching interviews of her, she's so real and down to earth. anyone else feel like they'd be best friends with adele if you met her in real life? lol
Man, has she come a long way...she an inspiration. She's defintely making a statment here by not making make-up...she calls herself "pop", but she clearly is not going to conform to hollywood expectations. What could be better about her? So humble. So brilliant. So beautiful.
I'm glad the world started to appreciate the fact that she is an incredible songwriter and not just an amazing singer.She definitely deserved the Oscar for Skyfall,she is one of the greatest songwriters we have.I hope she continues to write songs and perform cause I don't want anyone singing Adele's songs but Adele.

I think its her personality. She's just a real girl who happens to be famous. And her voice! It makes me feal so relaxed
