In this video we have our first day of snowboarding in Hakuba Japan. We're riding at Happo-One Hakuba ski resort, which is one of the largest and most popular mountains in Japan. Our goal for today is to explore some the of the trees find some deep snow for our powder snowboards. Today I'm riding the Nitro Pow and TJ is riding the Rossignal Sushi. Our first few runs were spent snowboarding in some of the trees accessible from the groomed runs. You're not allow to ride all trees because of hazards in the snow. Then we did a short hike to find some alpine snowboarding, which end up being some of the best powder turns on our lives! We finished the day by picking up some instant Ramen noodles from the local grocery store. Thanks for watching! - Спорт
7:55 This is the perfect clip to show elderly relatives when they ask, "so what is this ski-boarding thing you get so excited about each winter?"
No need for insanely sheer inclines, technical lines, or olympic level flippy-dippy jumps that will only make your grandmother fear for your life every time you mention where you're going. Just a long, unedited, pure beautiful powder run set in front of spectacular mountains, backed by the perfect choice of music. Bravo!
What an epic run. Like you say, nothing crazy, just floating down a mountain on a blanket of powder.
Few decades later some kids will invent new invention. And you gonna wonder about what's so cool about that and they gonna tell you: Shut up, elder, you know nothing!
these Japan vlogs are what ive been waiting for on this channel. Legit so entertaining, even the stuff off the mountain.. i love it
Thank you for coming to Japan!
I really appreciate to share Japanese good points🙌
It has been a life long dream of mine to go to Japan not just because of its world class snowboarding I’ve just always been so interested in the Asian culture thanks for this really awesome video.
stop dreaming go
My girlfriend and I were in japan around the same time this year. We went snowboarding on a different mountain but really enjoyed the snow and went through heaps of trees and so much powder. Watching this video took me back to the experience but you guys are way more EXTREME! Keep up the great content!
I wan't to go snowboarding in Japan some day :)
Me to. Let's go together :) 😁
Holy sheesh....this channel is seriously blowin' up with all these trips...Hopefully you guys are realizing how much this is helping the rest of us out who don't get to the mountain as much. I don't get to snowboard much, other than a few times a year, (Calgary Canada - Lake Louise, and Calgary Olympic Park-COP), so seeing this vicariously with you guys all across the States, and Whistler, Europe and now Japan is truly INCREDIBLE. Please keep it up, and thanks for the inspiration to get out there no matter what it takes!
Thanks Ced! I hope you're doing well man
the music was so chill i just started snowboarding and i love your videos man
I love the nitro quiver pow. One of the most fun boards I’ve ever ridden
Feels like skiing on flour power, the snow quality is just incredible!
My god that looked amazing
this pow legit almost got me teary eyed...so beautiful.

Excellent choice of music in this clip, nice one.
Cannot wait till I go to Hakuba in March too! seems so nice there
I saw you guys in Whistler when you guys back from Europe. That is the Icy day. Hope you like the powder in Japan. I love it much.

I just bought my first own snowboard today!😁 I have rented all the time
Oh Dude! I was just there at christmas!
DUMPED BIG TIME! SOOOOOOO good!
good powder, thanks for sharing guys.
Nice riding, great vid man!. I would love to board in Japan.
Have skied twice at Happe One (Happo On-knee) and can also recommend Goryu/Hakuba 47 and Tsuguieke.
Top of the mountain view is stunning.
Just got back from Hakuba, it’s the best place every!
Snowboarding on snow.
Greetings from NYC
Its so satisfying when they went down the hill the first time
Yooooooooooooooo! Those seat covers in the taxi, are Doooope!
Looks great 👍 I would love to get some powder like this!
Niseko slackcountry next time lads epic trees where only the adventurous access there's just a lot of terrain and back country to explore!! That bowl ridge was awesome looks like a heap of fun!!
That powder from 08:00 mark looked SO good and soft.
Damn. Just broke my wrist on a green. Keep the vids coming to help me through rehab
The best Pow on earth! Boarded there 2X!
such an epic video and powder
The best powders in Hokkaido. I know Hakuba area has more high alpine but as far as snow quality and amount goes, there’s no beating Hokkaido.
Great background music
good video again i do love your videos
love happo one!! Its first place where i tried all the ollies and butter tricks from Kevin.
日本に来てくれてありがとう!日本の良さを世界に広めてくれてありがとう!
日本が大好きです
@uluvmulattos that means I rlly Japan right
I 'll go to ride in something like 2weeks and your video just makes me want to be already there and taste the powder.
those scenery is unreal!!! looks like you guys are standing in front of a green screen!its insane I must go visit
Absolutely epic. That would be the dream...one day!
Love your videos
And this was pretty tame in terms of japanese powder, tbh! You guys should check out one of the resorts in Hokkaido next time
This is my dream right here, I might get chance soon to go to Japan and snowboard
If you get the chance I recommend hitting up Madarao and Myoko-Suginohara while you're nearby. Looking at the snow forecast, your best chance of getting that true Japow experience will be Thursday/Friday. Make sure you get up early for those first tracks, and may the snow gods smile upon you.
Definitely check out Cortina after you get some snow. Its about 45min-1hour ish from hakuba via bus or train but totally worth it!
ive been to hakuba a long long time a go and miss it dearly, i hope to one day be able to go there again.
Perfect Conditions
I was just there the same time you guys mustve been there!! Do a video on how snowboarders can survive on ungroomed black runs that have been made bumpy with skiier burrs. You go down one in about 2/3 mins in
Very nice!
HI~ Another fan from Taiwan!! Wish I could meet you on the slope too!!!!
By the film, we buy the 2018/19 sushi for new adventure of JaPow!
Amazing video! So good and it doesn't even look like Happo! haha
Oooh cool! Welcome to Japan.
Should've been there last week - I had pow up to my chest. If you go from the top of the gondola, stick to the right of the slope and there will be a nice powdery and less tight alpine run on your right... Hope that helps
ive read about the Japanese off-piste restrictions , would love to hear what you guys think
The clip from 2:13 was insane! love it
Super nice i wish I can ride japanese snow!
You should hit up hakkoda just south of Aomori city, insane powder, awesome forest runs, and no resort with one gondola trip to the top
I was just here. Awesome place!
