Thanks Jess, that means a lot! Following Jesus is the most important part of my life. I’m just including my spiritual journey with the motorcycle one. 😁
4 & 5 are for sure the most difficult, most the other sections are more touristey. Though I have to admit the Dirty Dog and the Flatlander still are more difficult than the NEBDR as a whole.
@@StravaigADV Yeah, I rarely passed a hard section cause I needed a break from the pea gravel, haha. I did however, bail at the ME border due to weather, which is the storm that tore all of VT and SW NH a new one. Dirty Dog is the VT version of the Appleseed or Flatlander AR, it starts in Bennington, and goes up through Barnard, VT, and clean up to the CA border. Its one of my goals next year, its right along NEBDR difficulty but all in VT and much shorter. You can find the details about that on ADVRider under the New Flugistan section. Great videos man!
Wow yet another great video! Enjoying this series very much! Thinking about tackling this on my 390 adv maybe this year, might have to do it alone though lol. Enjoy your "I am" verses, very encouraging, thank you brother!
@@StravaigADV Most of CMA are road riders but we are building the off-road ADV area across the nation. I ride a KLR 650 and my Harley. Love being off-road where it’s quiet and exciting at the same time. I definitely know I would be nowhere near the area you guys rode. OMG that was insane riding
Floods definitely made it harder, but those conditions are pretty typical for a lot of the the unmaintained roads up here. Please don't use hiking trails as bypasses. Even if they are barely used. Many are on private property and there is literally no way to tick off the locals faster than taking motorized vehicles on them. They can, and do, petition to have existing roads we use converted to trails and then shut down entirely as a result of riders not respecting the rules. We have lost a lot of our riding areas already and they chip away at it more every year.
Thank you for your concern about the “hiking trail”, and I agree with you. However, I use quotations because when we checked out what it was, it turned out to be an old forest maintenance road or maybe a seasonal snowmobile trail of some kind. It’s not on any hiking trail maps. But, I did say hiking trail in the video and that’s on me. It was also only a few hundred yards, it just felt longer because of the downed trees. If you watch the “Like riding the Appalachian Trail” video, at the end I give the same warning as you have given here, so I appreciate the call out as I don’t want any lost access to trails because of my actions.
@@StravaigADV no worries. Just a general PSA. Same thing applies to snowmobile trails here, btw. I have a massive network of them that ru s right behind my house, bit if I ever took a bike out on them (plated, stickered, doesn't matter), the property owner would probably be after me with a shotgun. The ATV, snowmobile, dirt bike, and ADV groups up here don't play nice with each other. Which is very aggravating, tbh. We'd accomplish so much more for preserving riding areas if we all worked together, but instead everyone blames the other groups for littering, ruining trails in mud season, etc. And all that infighting just results in more trail closures. We'd have a pretty powerful lobby if we realized we are all on the same side.
I’m in, subscribed! I love that you’ve not shied away from faith in all that you do 🙏🏼

Loved the video

And when the NEBDR isn't on a hard section, it is usually a VERY easy crazy well-maintained gravel road.
Where is the Dirty Dog? That's new to me!

Another great video. I feel iike I was there! good commentary too. I look forward to more content! Will share with my family.
Wow, thank you! Enjoyed meeting you last week. I am almost done with chapter 3, and I think it is actually the best of the 3.
Thank you for the great ride along
Glad you enjoyed it
Just found your channel. God bless ya brother for keeping the faith. I ride both on and off road with CMA. God is Awesome. Keep up the good work
Appreciate it! I didn’t know CMA did off-road. A nearby town has a group… I need to check them out.
