So many new balls constantly coming out, but we all throw each so differently it's hard to find what's right for each individuals style, but indo know I drilled the Attention Star along with the Ion Pro, theory was Pro on the fresh, but so far in my league with my style and the lane conditions I'm starting with the Attention Star and I'm throwing pins around like I have never done before. So yeah these balls hit hard when you find what matches your style and your house conditions. Problem is for us average bowler we can't afford to try every ball, and watching reviews are great do give us insight, but let's be honest you throw a Bowling ball wayyyyyyy better then some of us can dream of. So the reactions you get don't always translate for us. But I do appreciate your reviews and giving us a view of what it can be.
Thanks Jungo! My first impression for this Phaze AI is that it will be popular everywhere this season. I think the outer core tech has been developed more and is now making a bigger difference.
I remember when Columbia first came out with the Boss line and the main talking point in ads was the titanium core. That was supposed to increase hitting power as well. I had a couple of them and I remember the Ti Boss II Strawberry in particular feeling like it hit harder than other balls. That’s over 25 years ago so who knows if it actually did hit harder.
The Phaze II has been my go to ball for years now. I've been looking for what I think this ball is for years now too. The Journey didn't seem like it was quite enough and the Optimum Idol Pearl was a little too much for me. I'm an older man (70) who doesn't generate the ball speed that I once did so really big balls can be hard for me to get across the lane. I just can't generate enough ball speed. So I'm hoping this ball is the one. It's the only gap in my bag at the moment.
I think AI cores definitely are different for me. My attention star carries some insane hits and messengers that I otherwise would not get. It's not a cheat code, but it helps.
Yes, I think the AI core and the Dynamicore/Dynamicore2 have more hitting power. However, I am also a fan of two-piece balls, like the older Quantums. I also think the two-piece balls are more durable, which can be a huge plus.
If i remember right, the Journey was more or less called the Phaze II's pearl edition. So how does the Phaze AI compare to the Journey? That's my question. The ball looks good, don't get me wrong, but I don't think i need to replace my Journey just yet if the reaction and roll are similar.
I think Hitting power has a place but at the end of the day, Entry angle to the pocket is always the key in my Opinion. Can have the biggest core or the most reactive surface but it won't strike because the Entry isn't correct
Hi - this is my 2nd year of bowling in the Junior League, and I have a question for you. What are your thoughts of me throwing the Hustle M & M bowling ball? Thanks
I have the hustle rip it’s a really good ball sanded it to 2000 I can play right as a 2 hander, and let the friction guide the ball to pocket, really underrated line of roto grip
The hustle M&M does pretty good for my son! His speed is only about 12mph so he has better scores 1 handed over 2 handed(hooks way to much). He's still working on getting the ball out. But it has a nice smooth shape. And it carries well. 11lbs
I feel like this ball needs to be compared to with the OG Zen and Sublime. They all have a similar roll down lane even with slightly different numbers and they all are transitional pieces in the bag, the Sublime is the closest to the AI in terms of RG (same) and Diff
Cool video talk tech bowling ball storm phase ai bowling ball with Ai technology in the bowling ball more strikes and spares hitting power at times Jr pro shop
In my opinion, my Harsh Reality hits slightly more than my Reality. At least Lane Talk indicates that I carry 3% more with my Harsh Reality compared to my Reality.
You'd think with the technology that is at our fingertips, That a company would have created a device that records a ball hitting power going through the pins. We can record punching power, kicking, etc. So, why not a balls hitting power!
@@Valiant.PachecoHonestly No. Because If a device is created, It would probably be use as a Marketing tool only. So, For example Storm designs the device.. it will be only available to them to test the hitting power of their bowling balls. To try to market off a ball that "Strikes more".
I think the AI does change the hitting power. But for an average bowler who might now notice it. I think its more of a mind trick and will help them build more confidence and trust with the ball, knowing that being advertised. I am really excited for this ball. I am a huge Phaze fan. I shot my first 300 after taking a 3 year break with my Phaze 3 then got the 2 and it became my staple in my bag. I take my Gem Phaze 2 VEBO and IQ to every league night, tournament, and open bowl
Jungo, disappointed long-time subscriber here. With all the newer shiny burn balls out there, it would have been nice to see the AI up against the syms Optimum Idol Pearl, XPonent Pearl, Journey, Attention Star.
AI seems to be Storm’s “Dynamicore”

thanks for the kind words
Thanks Jungo! My first impression for this Phaze AI is that it will be popular everywhere this season. I think the outer core tech has been developed more and is now making a bigger difference.
It’s looking good for a pearl ball how would you compare it to the attention star
less hook potential than the Star, and a little more rounded shape
Way weaker than attention star ball down
Attention star is a 2 ball this is more like a 3-4
1st thought looking at the ball, reminds me of a Brunswick Smokin Inferno as far as looks.
What's the layout on the AI bowling ball
How would the PhazeA.I. compare to the Phaze 4?
not sure exactly, been a few years since the P4
i was thinking this same thing. i’m so good with my phaze 4 but i hate that it’s ban. i want a ball similar to my phaze 4
What is a better option on the medium to burnt lanes after the Storm Ion Pro. The Virtual Energy Blackout or the Storm Phaze A.I.
This looks more like the Zen than the Optimum Idol, so much more continuous
I remember when Columbia first came out with the Boss line and the main talking point in ads was the titanium core. That was supposed to increase hitting power as well. Just like the ceramicore... Inertia of 16 lbs is inertia of 16 lbs in my opinion.
Great video. Thank you. How does it compare to the Xponent Pearl?
good question, im going to assume the Phaze AI hooks more, been a while since i thrown the Xp Pearl
I'd love to see that comparison

What would be better at playing straighter phase ai or optimum idol pearl
After throwing my X-Cell in league last night, can confirm that the AI tech is pretty nuts. I was getting hits I usually wouldn't get.
Also the new Power edge polish ?
The Road trucks over the pins for me. So guess the AI works as advertised
I think AI cores definitely are different for me. My attention star carries some insane hits and messengers that I otherwise would not get. It's not a cheat code, but it helps.
Can you compare this to the journey? I believe they have the same cover just slightly different core numbers
feels more continuous than the journey, havent thrown the journey in a while tho
I know you love the zen gold label. How would you compare the phaze AI to that ball?
Would this Phaze AI be a good extra in my ball bag with the ion max and the road?
Should fit right between
I'm waiting for a new hybrid to emerge. Want very strong backend. I have the pearl and solid. Need a new hybrid. Great channel and content as always
Sublime is a hybrid with AI core
Sublime carries more pins than my Eternity or my Phaze ll.
Man I wish this would have been compared to a Sublime. I feel like they would fit similar parts of the bag
yea i think they are close, but the sublime seems to roll more forward for me down lane
How does this compare to the P5
watch ron from ctd compare this to the p5......p5 looks like a house ball vs the AI
Yes, I think the AI core and the Dynamicore/Dynamicore2 have more hitting power. However, I am also a fan of two-piece balls, like the older Quantums. I also think the two-piece balls are more durable, which can be a huge plus.
Since they are close to each other, how would this compare to the Optimum Idol Pearl?
op idol pearl is longer for me
Kinda looks like the old black Belmont spare ball, or is that just me
I have been looking for a pearl ball I have the phaze 2 now have to get the ion as well
Op idol pearl and summit peak would have been excellent options. Or if you like asym, vebo, or a touch weaker, attention star.
If i remember right, the Journey was more or less called the Phaze II's pearl edition. So how does the Phaze AI compare to the Journey? That's my question. The ball looks good, don't get me wrong, but I don't think i need to replace my Journey just yet if the reaction and roll are similar.
How would you compare this to the optimum idol Pearl?
i feel like the op idol pearl gets down the lane a little further
I think Hitting power has a place but at the end of the day, Entry angle to the pocket is always the key in my Opinion. Can have the biggest core or the most reactive surface but it won't strike because the Entry isn't correct
Was Jungo golfing? Got a nice hat tan 😂
haha you got it, back to bowling now
Hi - this is my 2nd year of bowling in the Junior League, and I have a question for you. What are your thoughts of me throwing the Hustle M & M bowling ball?

dude bowling in LV aha
Do you have 3 finger holes plus your thumb??

does it not depend on the bowler?

its the same ball as the Storm Summit Pearl
not quite
Appears this ball is a remake of the Phase V (slightly stronger)…

Acts angular not continuous like the Phaze 2.
I like my theorem. Not sure about this one or the sublime. My proshop guy says sublime
yea i think they are close, but the sublime seems to roll more forward for me down lane
@jordanjungjrproshop9380 my next ball is going to be the ion pro. Then the sublime.
Hey I have the same tan line 😂
Why wouldn't you compare it against the phaze V - storms most recent phaze pearl? If u want to show off the core thats the evolution.....
so much over lapping having a attention star, dnacoil and blackout
all asyms u just named, this is a sym it’s not gonna be as sharp
@@bryanswann blackout is sym pearl.
@@chriscastlebowling not if he’s talking about the vebo.
@@chriscastlebowlingLightning blackout is, which isn’t as strong as this ball. It will not overlap with either of the blackouts.
Hahahahaha. Symmetrical are as strong as asyms now?? You’re wild.
You know Storm named it "Amplified Intertia" just to hop on the AI buzzword marketing train... 🙄
AI cores definitely hit harder. I have the hash reality pearl and it hits like a truck.
Same bs over and over
So many balls reviewed why are all the same according to your throw...why are not showing for amateur or beginners from 1st to 05th arrow...???
Another junk ball
Jungo, disappointed long-time subscriber here. With all the newer shiny burn balls out there, it would have been nice to see the AI up against the syms Optimum Idol Pearl, XPonent Pearl, Journey, Attention Star.
