4-5 matches to get 1 renown level?? Thats 160-200 matches to get all the rewards. With 10-15 minute matches that means anywhere from 26 hours to 50 hours of just playing this mode, not including however long the queue ends up being. "Fast and rewarding" doesn't seem like the right choice of words

Are we sure wow can even support 60 people fighting on the same map? In my experience even 40 people fighting gets super laggy
If they prune down amount of AoE's.. then sure.
Lag is mostly caused just by an exponential amount of AoEs that happens. Not just amount of players.
@@TheNeiven fair point, maybe changing abilities to not being depended on the class is their way to go around this problem. It all boils down to their execution, so we will have to see.
They did hire that massive battle royale team named Proletariat.
there's 2 offensive, 2 utility abilities each per game. aoes are gonna be tuned down massively
They use to have 40v40 aka 80 people. Wintergrasp use to be massive. So the answer is yes.

so 40 renown lvls, mentioning lvl per 4-5 matches. Which means yo will need between 160-200 matches to collect all items in best case scenario

nothing in wow will ever be for everyone. islands werent that bad, many actually enjoyed them and still grind them for rewards.
Now, lets take some of this work that has been done to make stuff very obvious and no need for addons and start implementing them into the core game also.

Cant help but think of all the live game systems that are / have been released half baked / have been left behind without any further development - imagine how much time this has had spent on this instead of the game we all pay to play. Was excited to see some content - looks like will be waiting for the new season to sub.

They already covered that... they came up with ideas 4 years in advance. So, when they release their "ideas" they are already out of date. If they decide to fix gameplay. It will take 4 years before we see the results and that's WHEN they decide to do it.

it takes minimum 26 hours to complete, there are over 1,000 hours to complete it. If you can't complete it within that time, you should never complete it
