    U r doing great work bro… But as per my knowledge, we use 64 but key in DES in first stage and then we remove 8 bits using function and then 56 bits key is generated.

    agar plain aur cipher text 64 bit ka hai to key 56 bits ki kiun hai?

    Sir, I have watched one more video from other source...In DES it adopt 48 bit of key. Then it will be possible it can adopt 48 and 56 bit both.

    hi mate, just wondering if you could clarify this, as far as I know in block cipher encryption, the size of the blocks is fixed ,it has to be the same number. but if we have a look on this video , we have converted the plain text into 4 block and the assigned a key and then converted into cipher text but its shownup 5 blocks. how come it becomes 5 block

    Key key key all I’m listening everywhere. What is key ? Is it a password? If it is a password the who creates it and where it is created and how it is applied?

      Let the message to be send is hello
      The key I'm using is +1 then
      h+1=i
      e+1=f
      l+1=m
      l+1=m
      o+1=p
      So ciper text is ifmmp
      This will be sent from sender side and then at receiver side decryption algo takes place i.e
      -1
      i-1=h
      f-1=e
      m-1=l
      m-1=l
      p-1=0
      So the ciper text is converted in plain text ( hello)
