Carter is a Drumming master!!! 16:21 just check out the stick flip, mid-beat! MY GOD!! I love this band and am so thankful these shows are being played right now! They have definitely helped me through this very tough time in the world! Much love to all!!
Carter is a beast. One of the best to ever sit behind a kit and not necessarily underrated, but maybe still under-recognized. That being said, stick flips are largely pointless. He might have done that one just to conveniently get a different grip on the stick. Totally agree about them helping us get through this butthole of a year, though. And love to you, as well.

When he's doing the rim clicks with the butt of the stick you need that thick part of the stick for a deeper sound I think is what you'd call it, then when it goes back to where he's hitting the snare with the tip of the stick... He's gotta flip it. Maybe not real difficult, especially for Carter, but slick is what it is.

Yeah, seems pretty clear that Buddy is the best thing to happen to the band in a good long while. They were so freaking great in 2019, really looking forward to them getting back out there after the Plague 2020.
