I'm sure I must have watched Beth Hart on "Star Search" back in 1993, but just lost track of her over the years. My love for Lucinda Williams videos prompted the UA-cam algorithm to show me "Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa Live in Amsterdam" (recorded June 30, 2013), performing a scorching version of "Can't Let Go" (a Randy Weeks song Lucinda made famous on her 1998 album, "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road"). "Leave the Light On" is certainly an adult dose of harsh reality.

I first heard of Beth around 2000 on KFOG in San Francisco. They played one of her songs. Didn't recall the song but remembered the name and started semi-following her music then.
