You are about the 5 most English sounding Danish people I have seen for a while. You blended in quite extraordinarily fine. You must be from the old island beyond the northern sea 😂 The Queen pulled a fast one on all of us, so had you planned 3 weeks later, you could have experienced history IRL.. Hope you loved it enough to visit again 😊
If you choose to visit in the summer and you plan your holiday with a few friends, there is a unique experience waiting for you. You can rent an automatic boat for a few hours and see Copenhagen from the canals, and you can pick different routes or the grand tour. The boat will sail you, or you can steer yourself. The sweet thing is that the boats are rented out in Nyhavn, too.
Yes, that would have been amazing to witness. Although I believe the city was very busy for such a historic event! We will 100% be back to visit 😊 We will keep in mind the boats for next time, thank you!
If you're ever doing a weekend or short stay in Copenhagen i would highly recommend your first stop is the turist information and get a Copenhagen pass, its a pass where you pay for one two or three days and you can freely travel with all public transport and you get access to a ton of places i believe Tivoli is included but also all the great museums
Looks an amazing place to go, especially at Christmas - might have to add it to the list for me and my family! Have really enjoyed following your trips this year, you really do some amazing things. All the best to you this Xmas and for 2024.
It feels like this theme park has been built for xmas. A great place to go but a little on the pricey side once you ar. there. Hope you had a nice Xmas and looking forward to 2024 :)
Hiya ♥️ I’ve never heard of Tivoli - the lights looked absolutely amazing 😍 those cakes in the morning, they looked delicious so I’m glad they met expectations 😋 I love seeing all the adventures you guys go on 😊 xxx
Glad you enjoyed your stay - Nyhavn is indeed a tourist trap, and the food very meh. If you ever come back, I will gladly give som good tips. Rgrds, a Dane :)
Well that was a lovely surprise for Christmas Eve 😁 Yet another place for us to add to our list. Just wanted to say thank you for sharing your amazing adventures with us this year and we hope you have a Merry Christmas - and you just know that 2024 is going to be incredible 😁
Thanks Rich! We've had a blast this year and cant wait for 2024. I want to say a massive thank you to both you and Clai for the support you have shown to us this year. Your comments on our videos always leave a smile on our face and we really appreciate you taking time out to comment on them all. ☺️
Great video, and i never get over what other people call cold. I knew it wasn't gonna be cold as Denmark never is. And then we get -2° and that was even lower than what I expected. That's crazy warm for December. I used to go to school in the 70s and 80s and we had -22° back then, and that is not even something i remember so it can't have been that bad. But we're around -5° celsius every winter in Denmark. That's the norm. My whole family goes down to the beach at 5 in the morning and swims for christs sake. They've been doing that for 20+ years now in December and January. So no, Denmark doesn't get cold outside, only inside can you be cold. Unless you got a lot of massive fireplaces.. But id go for a 20 minute bike ride to get to the shops every winter and then cykle back with 5 bags of shopping on my bike every 9 days all year round..
There is no difference on bus ticket and train ticket in CPH. You buy a ticket from A to B and you can use whatever public transport you want or a combination of several transport means, all on the same ticket. There are Intercity trains, regional trains, S-Train, Metro train, Buses and the Yellow ferries. All on the same ticket.
Im from the desert and im going to Copenhagen for December 21-December 31 and im only worries about 2 things: Are places open during christmas?? And did the freezing cold temperatures get in the way of enjoying your trip??
I’m not 100% sure about over actual Xmas but everything was open when we went during an earlier weekend. It was cold but it’s a good excuse to drink lots of their yummy hot drinks on the Xmas markets! We used hot hands which keep your hands super toasty and warm and lots of layers ☺️ we had a lovely time!
Also, what is the deal with the fireworks at Tivoli, i think its not every day at midnight, but only Wednesdays and Saturdays, am i right ? Thats worth seeing for sure..
It's not a must visit during winter. This must be a commercial. It's cold and empty. And do not expect romantic Christmas snow. It usually just gray and rainy.
Did you watch the video? Definitely not a commercial, just our family and a couple of our friends having a brilliant time exploring Tivoli and the Xmas markets last Winter. Everything was open and we had a light dusting of snow. Yes it was cold but it didn’t stop us having a great time!
Also Tivoli is the second oldest themepark but Cph also have the oldest themepark that you could have gone to..Bakken is the oldest. So we have the 2 oldest theme parks going. I think Bakken has been going since 1700s or so, but they have changed borh of them a lot since then. Back then these places was more seedy and about naked women and more dodgy fun that wouldn't fly today. But this is when showing a lady's ankle was seen as 100% hardcore porn so now its all back. Big breasted women singing songs with double entendre meanings and all that.. its harmless today but back then... 😊
Hi guys!! Tivoli looked beautiful!!! It truly looks magical!! Loved the wooden coaster!!
Such a great time of the year to go to Tivoli! The wooden Rollercoaster was defo an interesting one. Had old coaster charm.

We had a great time! Definitely will be back! 😃
Love to see how people get happier when they visit the world's happiest country. Greetings from Denmark 🇩🇰
We were definitely happy there, our Christmas spirit was definitely high in what I think is the most Christmassy place we’ve ever visited ☺️🎄

if you are a Disney fan, you must also know that Walt Disney got inspiration for Disney world after a visit to Tivoli Copenhagen
Tivoli is somewhere you need to visit in the winter at some point. its been on our list for a while and it defo didnt disappoint!
Glad you enjoyed your stay - Nyhavn is indeed a tourist trap, and the food very meh. If you ever come back, I will gladly give som good tips. Rgrds, a Dane :)

Tivoli is closed Christimas eve. Nobody is at work in Denmark on Christmas Eve. Except the police and such.
The video was released Xmas Eve, we never said Tivoli was open Xmas Eve…
You 2 are funny :D Love from Denmark :D
😆 thank you!
Did you know???: The lake in Tivoli is actually a piece of the old moat around Copenhagen
And Nyhavn was dug by swedish POWs....and it is a harbor.
Oh wow, no we didn’t know that!

Fun fact, the reason why the houses in nyhavn are so coulorful is so the drunken sailors could find their house
Yes, we loved that fact and completely missed it out of the video 🤦♀️
You JUST missed the snow, theres a lot of snow here now lol😁🇩🇰
What a shame! Bet Tivoli is even prettier covered in snow! 😊
@@TheKershawsAdventures Exactly, it is indeed😊👍 glad you enjoyed it here🇩🇰

Thank you, that’s really good info for the next time we visit :-)
You guys travelled from Manchester to Copenhagen in winter. So can you please tell me which place is more colder at that time?
Copenhagen was colder than Manchester when we visited.
Im from the desert and im going to Copenhagen for December 21-December 31 and im only worries about 2 things:

I love 08:18 - I've been up in that on a dare. Not doing that again, ever. It felt so flimsy and unsafe even if it isn't.
It seemed to spin slower on our turn so was super enjoyable looking out at the surroundings!
Went copenhagen 3 weeks again it was snowing wen we was there looked lovely went malmo in Sweden to on train only 30 mins well worth a visit
We would defo try going to Malmo if we were to go again, we wished we had a litle longer there to get a few more bits ticked off our list.
Also, what is the deal with the fireworks at Tivoli, i think its not every day at midnight, but only Wednesdays and Saturdays, am i right ? Thats worth seeing for sure..
I wish you would have had some snow :)
Us too! We got a light dusting which did make us happy 😃
Dejlig video. And what a beautiful woman. 0:02
I saw your friend wearing a Buccaneers hat Is he a fan? (that's my NFL team too from Tampa)
Yep, he is a big fan! 😃
