Ryan, I have a rollercoaster request. In Ocean City, New Jersey, there are not many interesting rides. One, however, sticks out. It's called Gale Force, and it is a one of a kind launch coaster in Castaway cove on the Ocean City Boardwalk. I think, knowing how many coasters you have ridden, will like this coaster. While you are there, there is a ride called the Great Noreaster in Wildwood, only about 30 minutes away. I hope you enjoy (considering you probably won't see this.) Thank you.
Lost Coaster of Superstition Mountain is without a doubt the most unique ride I have ever experienced and I am so thankful that such an oddity still exists.

Flying turns from Knoebels, right? That darn coaster never seems to be open! I go to that park at least once a year (relatively local) and I swear I've never seen it operating.
Another aspect as to why it probably gets caught in the multiple valleys, and why it has so many, is due to the relatively small footprint and how tight some of these segments are, the triple up and then the constant tight turns really drops the potential energy the ride is holding and makes it even more temperamental. The front loading at that point is less of a suggestion but more rather a necessity at that point lol.
Ok, I had been thinking about adding Indiana Beach to my list of parks to eventually visit. This video not only put it on that list, but near the top of that list. That coaster is definitely a unique looking ride. Of course, the video isn't complete without a section about block zones.
I absolutely love this series, I would love to see one on Powder Keg from Silver Dollar City at some point as I have worked that ride and it is an utter mess. 3 Train operation will never be possible again even though it was originally supposed to be able to. Along with a ton of other problems that the ride faces daily. Love all the videos, keep it up!
I used to live by Lafayette IN when I was a kid and my grandma and my great grandma used to be on one of the promotional posters from the 70s near the back area of the park, always thought that was really cool
I'm totally gonna be that guy and please berate me if you feel so inclined, but it's not "Montichello", it's montisello, phonetically. I'm from Indiana and went to this park a couple times ~20 years ago.
On rollercoasters a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy at a time. At the end of a block zone there is a method to stop the train, in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety system that prevents rollercoaster trains from colliding with one another.
I live in Wisconsin so I would definitely want the Hades 360 video! I’ve ridden it several times over the year and I am so interested in the behind the scenes info of it!
It's cool to see a video about Indiana Beach, it's a very small park but has a lot of personality. I think I only ever rode Lost Coaster once, as the ride was often closed and when open seemed to always have a long line. I'm glad you gave a shoutout to the Cornball Express which was my personal favorite ride there.
This is the funnest, most compelling coaster I have seen in years! No gimmicks, just an honest ride doing the very best it can. HOW HAVE I MISSED THIS?
Would love to see a Hades Problematic Roller Coaster episode! Been going to this place since it opened in 1990 when Mt Olympus was called Big Chiefs Carts and Coasters!!
If I worked at Indiana Beach, I’d talk to The Gravity Group about putting in another block zone before the elevator lift hill to run 3 trains and put drive tires in the places it tends to valley, that are activated by a system of sensors connected to timers that determine that the train is going slow enough to valley. If the train is going slow enough to valley, the drive tires are activated and push the train along.
I'd love for any of the coasters at Indiana Beach to run more than one train at a time. All the coasters are running one train each right now (I was there about two weeks ago)
My family owns a campground about 15 mins away from Indiana beach and I’ve been there more over the summer then my actual home park six flags great America. I’ve had to been to the park over 100+ and I can say I’ve only ridden this ride like a few dozen times. The ride is never open and it makes sense why. Still extremely fun and weird.
I do think Hades/Hades 360 would be a good subject for a problematic coasters video. It clearly had to have been a challenge to interweave the barks three biggest wooden coasters using the hilly terrain of the Dells. Also would personally like to take a dig at Airtime thrills- Hades and Zeus are absolutely better at being parking lot coasters than twisted Colossus. The unfortunate thing is that its limited space means that it effectively appears to have only two block zones and runs one train. However, I think it would be great to include the following line in it: "Because this rollercoaster only can run one train at a time, its block zones won't play much of a role in this analysis. For those of you who are unfamiliar..."

Had a chanche to ride the new coaster "Desmorace" from the Ducati World in Mirabilandia, Italy. You should look into that as it is one of the coaster with the most downtime I have ever experienced. Problematic to say the least
You said sometimes it blows the mid course brake run when it's running fast... I'm surprised you didn't mention that as a pretty important reason they can't run 3 cars with the current block zone setup. Seems like a pretty serious reason.

Bucket List coaster for me. Not because its fast, tall or inversions... But due to it quirkiness and uniqueness.
Ahh yes block zones, never gets old no matter how weird the coaster is
Another aspect as to why it probably gets caught in the multiple valleys, and why it has so many, is due to the relatively small footprint and how tight some of these segments are, the triple up and then the constant tight turns really drops the potential energy the ride is holding and makes it even more temperamental. The front loading at that point is less of a suggestion but more rather a necessity at that point lol.
Dude I rode on that, it’s still there! I even slammed my head on that diagonal metal post on the mine cart.
Ok, I had been thinking about adding Indiana Beach to my list of parks to eventually visit. This video not only put it on that list, but near the top of that list.
That coaster is definitely a unique looking ride.
Of course, the video isn't complete without a section about block zones.
I think Hades would need an entire Problematic Theme Parks video...
It’s the better version of the seven dwarfs mine train
I absolutely love this series, I would love to see one on Powder Keg from Silver Dollar City at some point as I have worked that ride and it is an utter mess. 3 Train operation will never be possible again even though it was originally supposed to be able to. Along with a ton of other problems that the ride faces daily. Love all the videos, keep it up!
That was really informative. I rode Lost Coaster in ‘06 and it was truly bizarre.
They really said "make it a wooden wild mouse"
Absolute madlads
On rollercoasters a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy at a time. At the end of a block zone there is a method to stop the train, in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety system that prevents rollercoaster trains from colliding with one another.
Good job class
I live in Wisconsin so I would definitely want the Hades 360 video! I’ve ridden it several times over the year and I am so interested in the behind the scenes info of it!
This makes the weird double elevator on Cannibal at Lagoon make sense when it comes to block zones. And why it broke down every hour.
I can't believe it's only 1,400 ft in track length but so long in duration.
Oh mannn… you need to do a problematic coaster video on the Mount Olympus coasters…
I live to hear Ryan talk about block zones
For those of you who are unfamiliar..."
me & my family go to indiana beach every summer since 2007. it’s my favorite amusement park on earth and superstition mountain is my favorite ride there
Hades 360 problematic coaster would be just... Yes.
What a amazing video concept! Love all the PRC videos! But I literally beg with all my heart can you please do the Smiler at Alton Towers! It’s my home park and quite infamously has had an extremely rocky history!
It always breaks down, but they always get it back up lol I’ve been riding it yearly since 1996!
A Hades 360 PRC video would SLAP! So would a Lightning Rod one. And yes I learned something new today😃
Amazing video, as always Ryan!! This looks like a really unique ride.
This is like a cooler version of the old Golden nugget ride at Wildwood😂👍
I feel strangely drawn to this coaster.... I don't know if I'll ever manage it, but I want to visit.
Lost Coaster is was more intense then it looks, miss this ride! Fun riding with y'all!
Hahaha riding in the cages was wild!! That was an awesome day at the park
This is the Ideal Beach. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.
YES DO HADES ITS MY # 1 coaster
or maxx force
Please do a problematic rollercoaster for the smiler!!
Such a fun & unique ride! So glad this got saved. Really loving the problematic coaster series you're doing!
This ride has been closed more often than not each year I've gone to Indiana Beach the past few Summers. I sure hope it's open when I go really soon in a little over a week.
First, block zone.
That used to be my favorite rude as a kid. I must have ridden it 500 times
Well this is a pleasant surprise to see a local theme parks this series! Very well done video! Unfortunately, every time I’ve gone to IB, it’s been running and I couldn’t ride LOCOSUMO
of course we want a video about Hades 360. also Lost Coaster looks painful
The original reminds me of the Haunted Mine Ride that was at Hunt's Pier in Wildwood and now at Knoebels in PA
What I love about this ride is seeing the pure surprise & delight on the faces of slightly-jaded coaster enthusiasts in those backwards-facing seats.... in all the onboard footage I've seen they're always giggling like schoolkids as they're tossed around like crash-test dummies! 🙃🤣
This is such an interesting ride. Always looks like it is barely just making it. L
Also, the music really sounds like some pop-like mix of JR-SH2 platform jingle. Makes me want to go ride some trains in Japan.
Wow I am looking up a POV of this, it looks so strange!
I would love to see as many more of Problematic Roller Coasters as there can be!
My suggestion is Tron Lightcycle Power Run at Shanghai Disney, it has very very quick dispatches and I’d love to hear about it and see the block zones :D
But it’s just SO much fun 🤪🙌🏻
Can’t wait to see you guys on the triple looper
Cliff's is our local amusement park and I'm happy to report that The Rattler is still running!
Another BANGER! 🔥 You should do a Problematic Coasters of 2021- just wrap them all up into one problematic year of coasters 🤷♂️👍
These videos are so great and show that you can do more than be funny
Coasterdynamix has models built by CCI engineers which is pretty awesome. The model cyclone was in part created by the same guy who created many of these woodies along the east coast
this is a great and fascinating video! I would love to ride this coaster as I like ones that move fast but also have a dark ride experience and don’t have inversions! I tried looking through your videos and did not see it so wanted to suggest a roller coaster you might want to ride and maybe to a vidoe about called the giant dipper at belmont park in San Diego, if you made a vidoe about cool!
I would love to see Hades 360 in a future Problematic Roller Coasters video.
22:03 mmm ooooh yeah that's the stuff inject that directly into my veins
Had a chanche to ride the new coaster "Desmorace" from the Ducati World in Mirabilandia, Italy. You should look into that as it is one of the coaster with the most downtime I have ever experienced. Problematic to say the least
Wow, this ride is a hot mess. LOL
The pickiness of the ride reminds me of the Wilderness Waterboggan that SDC had back in the day.
You said sometimes it blows the mid course brake run when it's running fast... I'm surprised you didn't mention that as a pretty important reason they can't run 3 cars with the current block zone setup. Seems like a pretty serious reason.
