Holy s**t! Now those I love! As I’ve commented many times I have a wide range of things I like to collect. Since a pretty catastrophic injury almost two years that I’m just about as good as I’ll get from, everything in everyone one of my collections is now getting enjoyed through use. The only thing I haven’t pressed into action yet is a circa 1970’s Sheaffer Imperial Masterpiece 3 piece set: Fountain, Rollerball and Pencil set in 18kt, although I have previously used the pencil at home. I have yet to branch out into the EDC pen world, as I fear I would have packages arriving at close to your frequency and I don’t have a UA-cam channel to write them off. My daily drivers at work are a Mont Blanc Signature for Good and Mont Blanc Starwalker. Seeing these may have landed them in must buy territory! While I appreciate the detail in the second pen, the understated style of #62 would be my pick for daily rotation.
Currently, none are in stock. I did email Herman, and asked if he had a notification system and referenced your Pocket Priorities review of Epika #51 and #62 when inquiring. Perhaps I shouldn’t have posted this comment, but I suppose everyone that wants one will do the same, so no harm really. Best designed EDC pen I’ve seen. And to be completely on 16Sept2024 and to you, unboxed, filmed and uploaded by 29Sept2024 is truly insane.
while I am interested. Im worried about the small parts. is it simple to refill with new ink or will I lose a 1mm bearing and struggle for hours looking for it.
@@niceguy2091 no chance of the bearings falling out while changing the refill… but yeah I’m concerned if there is ever an issue will it be easily fixed and/or well supported
Sorry for the third comment, but wanted to ask and I know you’re super responsive. So if you get this before 9AM PST: what is your feeling on Elmax SuperClean? I’m just not sure about the steel and extensive research last night didn’t help with most saying it is somewhere between S35VN and M390. So what, edge retention that is not fantastic, but chippy yet easy to sharpen? It’s really the steel that’s holding me back.
No worries. It’s still great information to have… I did a test run and wouldn’t have made in the 20 seconds they were available anyway. As the foremost Oz collector, what do make of their change of steel s recently? I kind of took as they felt MagnaCut was oversaturated and they wanted to move to some of the more exclusive steels. I really like MagnaCut though, it’s head and shoulders better than 20CV for my usage. Well, I’ll have a Batch 2 Orange Severn coming any day now. I had completely forgotten about it until I got the email. Not sure I’ll keep it, but I’ll see when it arrives.

All hammering effects are done by hand personally by Bartosz Herman; this is not done on CNC.😉
