Well, very good suggestion! kinda complicated, it requires a local guide to travel in Tibet for foreigners. For me, that way is no meaning regarding the freedom of riding motorcycle, cannot camp, cannot cook, cannot stop as I like, etc. Foreigners can be a solo traveller for rest regions, such as Western Sichuan, also stunning, I think it's even better compared with Tibet to some kind. Also the inner Mongolia, very beautiful. Foreigners can rent a bike at a store, very cheap, as long as you skip the Himalayas (Tibet) regions. I plan to edit one as you suggested when I finish this series.😊

to add, you can't ride anywhere in China unless you have a Chinese driving license. I don't think you can get one as a visitor
