I don’t decorate my home necessarily according to trends. It’s interesting to hear about new trends but there is no way I’m going with dark painted walls or bright colored tile. Most people can’t really afford to redo their homes every 10 years. I’m sticking to my neutral colors and will bring in color possibly with a piece of furniture, pillows and other accents. There are many ways to bring in color. No wallpaper either. I do like wood tones so I have no problem with that. Like many others, I will decorate with what I like using new and vintage items. This was a good video with interesting content.
I think if a person does what feels right or good to them, even if it's trendy or not it's going to work. Everyone should just do what they love. I love trends and I love to see how designers incorporate them. It's always good to see what stores will be filling their shelves with. Cafe curtains aren't for me but may look great in someone else's home.
I notice vintage is coming back. I was at Dollar General and discovered white vintage items. The sugar & cream set, very vintage, reminded me of the 50’s and 60’s. It’s all coming back and I love it. Very simple and classic! I am staying with my cream walls, no bold paint colors, I will add a flash of color using pillows, table decor…etc but no bold paint on my walls. Thank you for sharing these trends, it’s fun to watch what is trending even though I will not be doing wallpaper or bold painting in my home.
A great video, Jenna. You always seem to know the up and coming trends. And I'm glad you are objective; even though you may not agree with the coming trends, you still give us all the different options!
Thank you Jenna, you always keep us updated on trends.. I love to mix the dark/light furniture in my space, it works for me. I will never use wallpaper again…
Every time you say grandma chic it makes me laugh! Not a fan of the kitchen sink skirt but I'm okay with cafe’ curtains. I don't know if I could go back to putting wallpaper on my walls... Not even one accent wall...😬. I am okay with throwing color into my very beige and white palette that I have right now, tho. You were right when you mentioned that people are longing for color... I feel it! Regardless of all that I really look forward to watching each and every one of your videos just so I know what's going on in the decorator world!! I've definitely been influenced in the decorating of my own home by watching your videos. Thanks for all the shopping you do for your followers... You are very much appreciated! 🏠❤️
Great news for me! I kept all of my "outdated" stuff and now I'm golden. I have a sink skirt, floral art and pillows, gingham and checks, darker woods mixed with some lighter, and lots of rich color. I even have many thrifted pieces in my home. Lesson...store your old stuff if you feel you need to go with the latest trend because eventually it will come back in style.
You have such an easy way of explaining things but yet showing people that you can do things on a high or low budget and still come out with a beautiful home feeling very inspired! I would love to see you do something with coastal decor on an upscale level. Everything you do is classic! I really appreciate your videos… They’re very relaxing but yet I feel like we’re having a master class! Thank you so much! Great job!💙
I've had that Neutral Choice in my home some 20 yrs ago and loved it, infact I still think about it and what it meant to me! I'm happy to have been seeing Color making its way back around. Love bold statements, walls and furniture, which never go out of style!
Always love your videos! Love arches and touches of beautiful florals. I like cafe curtains but not sink curtains, they need a special home. Not a fan of dark wood but I love the vintage accents. You do a great job with your videos, thank you so much.

I must say as a subscriber for over a year and someone who has a degree in interior design, I really appreciate your videos. You do a great job of accurately delivering and describing the content material. You also display your personal design style without being judgemental and you don't pretend to be a designer. So many content creators do that and it's offensive to those of us who study and learn to do floor plans, lighting plans, elevations, etc lol You're also very easy to listen to which is nice. You have a very solid channel and I truly hope it continues to grow. You deserve it.
Hi Jenna ! Thank you for showing how you can incorporate trend’s subtly. Many people don’t want to spend lots of money and make permanent changes to accommodate “trends”. They come and go too fast and are often taken too seriously. I like keeping the foundation of my home style classic and traditional. And no to the cafe curtains. Lol.

Caffee curtains for sure. Have had them in both my houses. No Way to sink curtains. Love hearing about the trends and I might do one myself though on a small scale. Great videos. Thanks.
Muito útil, amei seus comentários aqui no Brasil e muito difícil conseguir reproduzir o que vcs tem ,mas eu amo seu estilo e faço o possível aqui tbm muito obrigada pelas dicas
Thanks for some great ideas, not one to go all out w trends but like the idea of accent pieces that can change w trends!!! Cafe curtains r ok but have never liked the sink skirts and I’m 76!!!
I like all the new trends, more florals, more vintage, and checked patterns plus those rich colors but I don't know about sink skirts...they may grow on me. 😉
A hard "NO" for the sink skirt. 😆 I can picture someone rinsing their hands at the sink and grabbing the skirt to dry off. But I really loved everything else, especially the mix of modern and vintage. The curved LR furniture looks so warm and cozy.
I've been thinking about making some cafe' curtains, but I have so many sewing projects right now that I need to finish before I could get to it, that it might not ever happen, lol.

I’m so enjoying your videos. Although I’m not sure I will be hopping on board the trend train I do need a new sofa. I like your blue sectional. Do you still like it and can you send a link for it?

Thumbs down for me to sink skirts and cafe curtaine. I use to like cafe curtains, but not so much anymore. When a young girl thinking of having my own home, i dreamed about white ruffle curtains and fresh daisies on my kitchen table. Ohhh and sunshine streaming through the kitchen windows.
🌿🌿 Always fun to hear your take on trends. As a grandma, young at heart and energetic, I’m happy to see cafe curtains re- emerge- ditto for the sink skirts!
Hey! I put cafe curtains in my kitchen a year and a half ago after agonizing what to replace the mini blinds that were installed when we used the house as a rental. It’s really cute! I’m not a fan of sink skirts though.
It’s so interesting because I didn’t like seeing skirts either but my very modern home looks amazing with the sink skirts. I think it’s just the house itself. If it’s more modern it can handle it. If it’s a little older, it may look dated. This is cool though I think it’s just more comfortable to do the café curtains.
Great video once again Jenna! Well, my living area will be in style because I have 3 arches and I have always lived arches. Love the vintage art as well as florals. The cafe curtain are a yes but not the sink skirt. 😊❤😊
Hi Jenna, l enjoy your videos, look forward every Saturday for them. I love the arches, some vintage pieces and aged stone look, but no cafe curtains and sink skirts. Always fun to see what's trending though. Thank you for your hard work.
I just ripped out ALL of our dark wood cabinetry and swapped it for white oak tones instead and I am sooo happy with my choice! I love love love the lighter wood tones 😍 My mood tends to be better in brighter spaces, so a house with white walls and light wood tones just makes me happy ;) I have used different tones of white (from bright whites to creamy beige-whites) and light wood tones that vary as well, and the combinations have added just enough variation that my house doesn’t feel boring. I’ve added polished nickel and gold toned hardware and plumbing to add warmth back in the spaces. The use of baskets, pillows and throws with patterns and color is my way of staying trendy :)

Really great content, Jenna! I don’t style my home by trends but like all the great ideas! It’s nice to explore something new that catches your eye. My favorite was the florals and the smaller art pieces. I appreciate your references to thrifted and antique pieces- so many treasures out there to find to refresh a home!
I figure with what I like and have will be back in style in a few years. I love country and will never have modern. No body can afford to change everything every year. You go to another person and they are saying different other trends.I like what I have and will stay with it.
Hi Jenna... I have to say....no...no...no to the sink skirts....lol. I don't really like dark walls either. I like things light and bright....more neutral.
Well, I must be grandma chic because I have cafe curtains in my kitchen but they are lace panels. The funny thing, is they have been hanging in my kitchen for several years. I love the way they l◕‿◕k.
I don’t like dark wood tones, nor the cafe curtains, and definitely not the sink skirts. I will continue to decorate with what makes me feel happy and in a state of serenity at home. Following trends can drive anyone insane!
Love your fringe jacket and concho belt buckle. Your American southwest style it showing. Love that the darker woods are coming back. Also arches are something I've always gravitated towards. I would say no to any type of kitchen or bath sink skirting. To me it seems to be a petri dish for bacteria. Enjoyed this video very much.
Good grief, NO to the sink skirt and cafe curtains! Eek! Love all else you highlight, but I was so happy when I was able to have a nice enough house that I did not need to hide the stuff under my sink with a cheap sink skirt.
I will not be participating in the sink skirt trend 😂 But I may consider some cafe curtains because those images looked really cute and I do have a bare window... 🤨
I like some of the cafe curtains but not sink skirts. They may look classy when first put up but over time they get dirty and less crisp. Thanks for your tips. I love them!
I don’t know why, but it amazes me how trends make their way back around every so often! My husband and I renovated a house before we were married in 1997 and we used checkerboard tile in the kitchen (Hunter green & white) and master bath (black & white). We had a dark wood vintage bedroom suite, which we still have, and a vintage kitchen table with matching China cabinet given to us from his grandmother. We also arched our main doorways. Here we are 26 years later and in the process of building our forever home (getting too old for this mess!) and going back to a lot of the things we’ve done before that I once said I would never do again! I know now to make sure to do things that can easily be changed!
Being that I like Spanish colonial architecture and Art Deco I've always loved arches, but I think I'll NOT be going after that sink skirt trend! I was already planning on redoing some upstairs cabinets in a darker wood finish. No to cafe curtains as well. I love curtains but not half curtains.
Loved the is video. I’m definitely not loving that last one 😂 I think if I choose one I would go with the cafe curtains - if I had to hide pipes I understand that and having easy access to stuff under the sink but imagine spilling stuff all over that pretty fabric? Just seems like it would be a never ending mess. I would however use that sink skirt in a laundry room where there isn’t much washing dishes with food and stuff - laundry room could be fun?

So glad to hear rich colored woods are coming back. I never could like all the light gray woods. I am 65, so antique and rich wood are what I grew up with. I like the rounded arms on couches and chairs. Checkers? Maybe a kitchen towel. Cafe curtains , yes 😊.
Excellent well diversed presentation ❤. You’ve inspired me immensely! What is your take on cafe curtains in combination with white plantation shutters? Please 😁
Great video and not too long. Cafe curtains and sink curtains will never grace my home , no matter what the trend! I do appreciate how you encourage people to incorporate trends they like into their space by doing small changes (T towels etc). Keep up the great work!
Great ideas. In line with my thinking and taste. I have a kitchen window over my sink and always dolled it up not necessarily in line with current trends. It makes the room lovely. I recently moved to my beach house so having lots of fun and some painful moments trying to redecorate. I will be using your great info going forward. Thank you!
I like seeing the new trends. But I’m sticking to neutral colors. With a pop of color. No way I’m using bright tiles or floral bedding or dark walls. I seen black paint in bathrooms. Just not my style and it’s for you go for it.
Thanks for sharing Jenna. As always your videos bring the best tips and advice with so much detail, visual examples, plenty to think about. I'm hear for the darker wood tones. I have moved from dark moody decor to more neutral tones with pops of dark accents. It just gives my home a more calm, cozy look with personality. Btw, it's a no on sink skirts. I used them in the 90s and I thought they were hideous then 👍🏼😊🏡
I prefer modern and sleek looks in my home, but I am fine with the cafe curtains in the kitchen. I have done them in the past before. The sink curtains are a big NO to me. Lol! Too old fashion and “grandma” for me.
I don’t decorate my home necessarily according to trends. It’s interesting to hear about new trends but there is no way I’m going with dark painted walls or bright colored tile. Lots of good stuff here. But the dusty, musty, granny sink skirts are a big nope.
I know this is crazy but can someone help

Tell me why I read *sink* skirt as SKIN skirt lol I was like...man I gotta see this
Thumbs down for me to sink skirts and cafe curtaine. I use to like cafe curtains, but not so much anymore.

Yea don’t like sink skirts at all. But these are trends. Just not my taste.
The curtains could be a cute idea. No to the sink skirt. I would feel the need to wash the sink skirt often - I don’t have time for that. 😊

A nice video as always. I don’t really follow trends. I will def say a big no to the sink skirts. A maybe to the cafe curtains.

Floral trend for art work. I will pull out the prints I have from the 90’s or go with n Etsy
I will not be participating in the sink skirt trend 😂 But I may consider some cafe curtains because those images looked really cute and I do have a bare window... 🤨

I don’t know why, but it amazes me how trends make their way back around every so often! I love seeing what is trending but I definitely will not be doing the sink skirt! As always, I love watching your videos!
Love the photos from all the designers, thanks for your efforts making it easy for us to see what’s out there. Very helpful!
For me, sink skirts def no - Cafe curtains - YES! Be still my heart - love them - super fun!
Love your videos. Definitely one of my favorite interior designers to watch. You also remind me so much of Heather Graham 😄
The kitchen sink curtains is a no.
Sink skirts?! Yeah no.
Thanks for all the great visuals 👍🏼

Being that I like Spanish colonial architecture and Art Deco I've always loved arches, but I think I'll NOT be going after that sink skirt trend! I was already planning on redoing some upstairs cabinets in a darker wood finish. No to cafe curtains as well. I love curtains but not half curtains.

I love all the ideas you offer from budget friendly to $$$$
Don’t like the skirt or the window trim. I’m not with the trend.

I love your decor videos and links, but I must have the links for your outfit here! I am thinking it would be perfect for my trip to Jackson Hole. :)
Esta clase de videos me motivan a seguir creciendo en mi CANAL ❤
Where did you get that bench you put behind the couch? I’ve been looking
I do love the cafe curtains as well as the curtains instead of cabinets. So cute!

I'm about to put my home on the market, watching your video to get some staging inspiration. Thank you!
HI I LOVE YOUR CONTENT. I want study interior decoration. But tehre is some schools you recommend in toroto Ontario? ll appreciate it.
So glad to hear rich colored woods are coming back. I never could like all the light gray woods. I am 65, so antique and rich wood are what I grew up with. I like the rounded arms on couches and chairs. Checkers? Maybe a kitchen towel. Cafe curtains , yes 😊.
I have always gravitated towards DARK WOOD!!!
It is definitely more RICH!!!😊😃😁🥰
