I had got one saree for my engagement from Nalli's Bangalore and 5 years later it still is one of my favourite of all. :)
I wish sarees were worn everywhere, all of the time....they’re just so gorgeous & really enhance a woman’s beauty! Love the stunning blue and green silks. The yellow and brown combinations are a favorite of mine too.😊
Missing chennai again. When i came to visit there, i went to t.nagar. what an experience.

it's such a guilty feeling when they take the sarees out of the packet and spread it on the table...u just gotta leave the shop with sarees or your conscience won't forgive you!

Hi Sherry !! Next time try to visit co-op tex. It's co-operative society of weavers set up by govt!! Where also you can see traditional silk, and every saree has a tag with weaver's name and photo. It's highly underrated shop😑

Goodness Sherry! I have heard about Nalli Silks, but what an amazing store! I loved your Sari's you picked out, you look lovely in them. They can really get expensive, I don't know what you paid is US dollars, but that seemed reasonable for silk sari.
A wedding is an event that happened once on a specific special day.
Marriage is a conclusion or u can say a stamp for life that's why we say married. Layman ppl sometimes use wedding anniversary or marriage anniversary interchangeably both are right. But for the anniversary she made it clear, even though I didn't know about it.

Instead of pallum pazhamum you were saying polum polum. That was really funny. Palu means milk payam means banana. So to say a mixture kind of saree.

Sherry fyi., Original jari is silver thread dipped in gold. That is why more gold jari more expensive.
