Thank you for the update. I hope you have the issue resolved with the Toronado. The update on the Ninety Eights was interesting. You are indeed planning and preparing and ready to make progress. You are determined and that is to be admired. You research and learn and prepare. The wheels look nice.
@@BigMessGarage You are not alone with Toronado issues. I have to replace the water pump on my mine because the water pump gasket is leaking. Age and time got to it. I am waiting for the parts to ship. I totally understand where you are coming from. I the meantime I am driving the Ninety Eight. I know you will get the issue resolved soon.
The wheels really popped back. Amazing. I always just took them off during the winter as summer running made them look bad enough. I've spent too much time bending on my knees trying to keep up.
I had a set of those appliance wheels on my 79 gmc van. I loved the wheel but hated those lug nut bushings! What a pita putting them on every time i had to take the wheels off.
I got the new bushings and lug nuts in last night and tried them out just to see on an old rotor I have laying around... You're not joking, they're a bit of a pain 😂
@BigMessGarage I found the best way for me to do it is to put the wheel on, then put the bushings and lugnuts on like just a couple threads and pull the wheel towards you then tighten each one a little at a time. I messed up a few just slamming them on 🤣🤣
That's a crazy price difference! I know they are a lot bigger and heavier duty, I think I read somewhere that the exhaust has to come down as well because they are so big?
There's a special feeling in a oldsmobile!!!!!
Had one of these. Worked perfect.
Pure nostalgia ❤
Beautiful wheels and tires! I love your cars!
Thank you!

Thank you! Issue with the Toronado should be resolved very soon with some new connectors for the fuel pump sending unit harness!

They very much are a pain to keep clean, but they look sooo good! Well, some do... These look ok from like 15 ft away 😂
