I didn't realize until watching this video, how badly I want a comic book mini series of Jason seeking Vengence for Zordons death, hunting down the Retired Space Rangers across the galaxy.
As far as Zeo goes, the Zeo powers were said to only grow stronger over time. So with veteran rangers on the team and powers that never have a cap, the Zeo powers will continue to grow to the end of time. Thereby it will always eventually be stronger than whatever challenge they come up against.
That's going to depend on how much Zordon restricts the flow of the powers. It's an under analyzed part of season 3 when the thundrrzords are destroyed they are channeling more power to the zords. What isn't said is how much they were held back. Rewatch green with evil and tell me one time a ranger shows the ability to body a team like green Tommy did. Once he joins the team you never see that level of power. And even with the upgrade to white then zeo and turboyou don't see any real difference in the fights. This shows again in dino thunder the white when evil is easily able to take on their teammates. But once part of the team seems nerfed. Showing that the heros restrict how much power they use. Based off the evil rangers I'd say mmpr then space then zeo because next to the evil change of hearts the psycho rangers were able to go toe to to with space and turbo and were a threat to lost galaxy as well

@@altaire34 Zeo Gold kinda is, but even without Zeo Gold I'd have to disagree. Mystic is magic, but they are all green. Every Zeo has time as a ranger under their belt from the start-even Zeo Gold was the original Red MMPR Ranger. They have experience and a lot of time working and training together as a team. They are a cohesive unit. Couple that with Billy's smarts making things for them, access to Zordon's wisdom and resources, and they will always have the edge as their powers continue to scale and grow. Even without Billy, Zordon, and all of that, the Zeo powers alone are enough. Where as with Mystic it's a case of not knowing their upper power levels and only the potential that the magic is unlimited, with Zeo the powers come from the Zeo crystal, connected directly to the Morphing Grid itself as a conduit, and it is established canon that there is no upper limit, that the Zeo powers are unlimited. I think with time and training that team would be able to handle and grow to control the ever increasing power limits to avoid the stresses like Jason suffers as Zeo Gold It boils down to Rangers with years of experience and an established no upper limit vs. Rangers who are talented but don't known each other as well (in comparison) and only a potential lack of an upper limit to their powers.
Since he said himself that he hasn't really kept up with Power Rangers until recently and only even watched a little bit of MMPR, it might be the first time he's seen Thuy in a long time.
I respect and understand him as an actor and professional. They don't obsess about their work lore wise like we do. We as fans have to have that boundary. That being said Austin as Jason will always be an OG. This man SET. THE. TONE. His character intensity as the Red Ranger is the "Red Standard". EDIT: God he's so handsome. I'm messed up.
A squad turned evil of their own accord. No spells, no tricks, to quote their red ranger, everyone wants to be on a winning team. They did it for power. It was very unique to have a Ranger team turn evil without us, bill being passed on them, or some sort of trick.

First of all I want to tell you that even at the age of 33 today. I still love Power Rangers since I was 5 years old. You changed my life and created magic for everyone ❤️ My favorite team since childhood is Mighty Morphin and I will explain. Every Ranger had a character. A role. Jason was always patient with others. He knew how to show amazing fighting skills. He knew how to lead the team and he also had the character of a leader. Jason is like the Green Hulk as Bruce Banner - always avoids fights because he always knows he will win them .Zach was always funny. Energetic. Knows how to show leadership ability. And combined dancing with fighting is the coolest thing there is. Trini was always the wise one and the soul of the team. She was always the first to help.. Billy of course without his brain the Ragers had no chance even if they were technologically limited. Kimberly always put everyone first (like he said in the special. Being a ranger should be selfless) and always kept morale up. And JDF Tommy. I think he was the fastest in terms of martial arts. In terms of strength, equal to Jason. Not saying who is weaker or stronger. Essel, both of you have been and remain my heroes since forever. I would also like to take the opportunity to show you my collection. PS I've always wanted a Red Rhaegar helmet. my childhood dream And speaking to one of you would be the greatest thing in the world
Personally the original Ranger team was always my favorite. I thought the team was the most well balanced as far as personalities, perspectives, and was diverse without feeling like it was forced. Even though there were a number of stereotypes present that didn't come in the way of the characters friendships with each other. Each of the, "teenagers with attitudes." were leaders in their own right and each got equal time to shine. Even later on when they added the 6th Ranger in Tommy the dynamic of the series was still great. Looking back, the interactions between Jason and Tommy were very grounded. Both men very powerful and dominant characters and of course they would disagree and but heads. I agree that the Zeo Rangers were the most powerful team in the series though. Between the power ups as well as consisting of a team of veteran Rangers including both Tommy and Jason and you almost have a dream team.
Eh I think mega force is because they have all the powers of the power rangers and if we include the comics they would have access potentially to the omega rangers powers they are at least number 1 or 2 in terms of strength
I agree zeo is the most powerful team but Mighty Morphin is more balanced. MMPR doesn’t just have Billy. That team also has Trini who is the mid point of mostly everything. Zeo can be a bit off balanced since Jason, Tommy, Adam overwhelmed Rocky, Tanya and Kat.

just saw once and always. The nostalgia, i remember seeing mmpr on tv as it came out. Don't want to say much, after all dont want to spoil it. Definitly worth a watch, to anyone who hasn't seen it yet
Zeo would need to be considered the most powerful. The Zeo Crystal is a perpetual energy generator that only gets stronger the more it's used. Combine that with a veteran team that worked well together and you have a team capable of destroying The Machine Empire - A group that has laid waste to other ranger teams in the past.
Growing over time doesn't mean anything, veteran Rangers doesn't mean anything if they don't have the powers to accomodate, and The Machine Empire are not as impressive as the Nighloks, Armada, and Sporix Beasts, even the Animal Spirits army.

For the original mightily morphing rangers they also had an advantage that none of the others did. Zordon said that the power would give the rangers knowledge of how to use their zords. Although he didn't say but is evident, it also gave them knowledge of to fight while in morphed mode. That is evident with Billy and Kimberly, the two had no previous martial arts experience. That team could have become the most powerful, had they trained morphed unlocking more knowledge and power from the morphing grid.
I feel like the men on the Zeo team kicked butt (Tommy, Jason, Rocky and Adam) but neither Cat nor Tanya was selected by Zordon to be a Ranger. Cat was hand chosen by Kimberly and Tanya was the girl Aisha happened to run into when she was sent on her Zeo quest and honestly, I never felt neither of them really showed the hand-to-hand fighting skills that the previous ladies on the Ranger teams did. Trini and Kim could hold their own in fights. I felt that Cat was always yelling for Tommy to save her, and yeah, I know Kim did too but Kim could do cool back flips and stuff.
I bet someone must have mentioned it already but in case not, Maligore's suit wast re-used for the Dark Specter character (as the big bad to whom all Rita, Lord Zedd, Divatox and the Machine Empire had to anwser to). They even have Divatox make a joke of him reminded her an old boyfriend of hers.
I love watching Austin react to this videos. The 6th Ranger does a great job at videos like this and to have Austin react to them has got to make his day

5:36 In between Turbo and In Space, Dark Spector was the brother of Malagore, I think. In production, they just used the same costume from the movie to save them some time. 8:24 They were the first to have them as their base form, but they weren't the only team in Power Rangers. Dino Charge had the Gold Ranger with a cape. Dino Fury also had capes, but only with different Ranger Keys.
The Super Sentai source for Mystic Force actually had the core 5 as siblings with Green as the eldest brother, Pink the eldest sister, Yellow and Blue being the middle children respectively, and Red being the youngest. MagiShine (OG Solaris Knight) was the late-arrival mentor, but also eventually marries MagiBlue.
@@seekertosecrets Maligore and Dark Specter actually had no relation, they were just recycling the suit because it was just easier than making a new 1. Magna Defender also wore a cape but the rest of Galaxy didn't.

Grumble the Magic Elf? Let's say he's a relative of Ticklesneezer just because that was the reused suit he was using.
I think the general theory is they may be brothers, but they basically re-used the monster suit of Maligore for Dark Spectre. Different monsters, same demon design.
This has to be one of the most hilarious videos I've seen in years, if only for the sight of Austin/Jason admitting "Okay, I didn't know that..." Its kinda like seeing William Shatner reviewing the Star Trek franchise despite being only seen in a single show. That said, rest assured, Austin, I am one of the many fans you unintentionally made a Ranger out of (Power Coin not withstanding). Your work as Jason and Tommy/Jason both inspired me to fight to continue my training in several forms of martial arts while struggling with depression due to epilepsy (seizures). Your role in a simple TV show was enough to turn a struggling child into a proud martial artist and I couldn't thank you enough.
In terms of accomplishments it has to be the Spade Rangers. They fought a literally galactic army and saved the galaxy. The Z wave is probably the single most important moment in the series in terms of its implications through the show.
If there is a story featuring Jason, it should focus on dealing with his death. It would be like the Green Candle all over again, expect the team mate is really gone.
Think it had to do with the... static between him and JDF. He seemed like, he didn't want to cause any sort of real issues between the fans and so while JDF was heavily involved, he focused on his own life. JDF is gone now (rip), and he seems to have recognized the hole that left in the Fandom, and decided to try and step in and fill the hole the best he could in his own way. Taking up the reigns, as it were.
Man it's so much content here. I think I would like to see you watch the seasons. My fav was light speed. Jason (mmpr) and Carter (Lightspeed) were the best red Ranger leaders to me.

Malagor and dark Spector were different characters, but they reused the villain costume to save money. It is even brought up in the series, and there is probably an in-universe explanation.
Zeo was always my favorite. Mostly because of the theme song. And because Jason came back as the golden ranger. I was always so confused at the beginning of turbo, because Kat was about to morph, and then she fell into the water. And then, they had turbo powers.
@@MK68755 I know I was just confused as a kid. Because I didn’t understand that it went from mighty Morphin to Zeo to turbo. When I was born, I think Zeo was out. So I didn’t understand the whole Continuity timeline thing when I was little.
@@MK68755 right like in the first movie they get their ninja powers from the mystical lady. Then in the show they get it from Ninjor. I still love it, that new special makes me want to go back and look at the OG seasons.
ZEO is Def the strongest. The martial artists from the male side is absolutely A tier. The females, Kat already had a lot of experience while, Tanya was the newest member, she was a great counter part to Kat. And Billy being a support character was great.
Interesting I met him during that Comic Con too, unfortunately my experience was that he come off very douchey, and an ass… but i guess every fan gets a different experience… it may have been a bad day for him, but it made me go “Wow… guess its true to never meet your heroes.” It’s unfortunate because I was such a huge fan of his. Again it may have been an off day but it’s just sucked for trying to meet one of my childhood heroes 😪😪😪

There's so many things I'd like to say. How Austin reacting to 6th Ranger's content is cool, rewarding and wholesome. How rewarding is for the fans. And how I'm jelly for 6th Ranger to get the approval of the OG. Tear from my eye.
Im 25. I got into the franchise with Dino Thunder. I had older sisters whos friends were big MMPR fans, and I inherited their MMPR Red Ranger with the head flip. Its still one of my most prized possessions. I went back and watched all of MMPR recently and Im officially hooked
See, Austin made the same observation I had years ago. The Malagor and Dark Spector confusion. However, I just chalked it up to being of the same species. Malagor was normal, human sized when he came out of the lava pit. Dark Spector was large all the time. This is why I decided they must just be of the same species or, at least, realm.

My personal choice would be the Zeo Rangers. The Zords from that season were particularly impressive (both Zeo Ultrazord variants dwarfed the average monster), and the Zeo powers were at no point destroyed.
@@user-ej5oz2mn6x I would chalk it up to weak writing. There was absolutely zero explanation given for why the Turbo powers/Zords entered the picture at all. Obviously, the out-of-universe reason was to conform to the latest round of Super Sentai footage, but the writers simply didn't handle it well.
@@mam162 Yeah, the handling was quite weird. Though, there is actually an explanation in-universe for the switch; it's that the Turbo Zords are actually stronger than the Zeo Zords, as those weren't enough to beat Maligore. So even if Zeo are stronger than Turbl, their Zords are the opposite(Because a strong team doesn't necessarily have the strongest Zords).

Master Morpher has powers of 4 DIFFERENT rangers. It doesn't allow Tommy to use all of them at once. He can use them one after the other. But on the other hand the Zeo Gold Ranger had powers of 3 rangers wrapped into one in Jason which is technically 4 ranger powers in the suit of one ranger which made the Zeo Gold Ranger the strongest ranger in the history of Power Rangers.
Do not worry Olivia De Bortoli you will get used to doing the morphin sequence during roll call. The video was pretty good. Overall I would say that Power Rangers S.P.D. had a pretty good team for the Disney era of Power Rangers. S.P.D. rangers are trained as cadets in a police academy with most of the rangers having unique quirks. Quirks such as Bridge(Green) saying Buttery whenever they have toast and Sky Tate(Blue) being the son of a former red ranger only to be reassigned to the second in command blue ranger in favor of the new guy Jack(Red). There is conflict amongst the team at first when it comes to teamwork, but when push come to shove they rise to the occasion to protect planet from evil aliens.
Wish they explained why she was so old though! She looked maybe 30s after purification. I know the out of universe reason (that the actress from Sentai footage was the same actress as Bandora/1st Rita), just wish PR addressed it since they took the cameo a step further to literally being Rita lol
jason is so powerful he's top 3 twice!. tommy and jason are my def picks for ones who are unrivaled. mmpr team is still my favorite. kim's growth over that valley girl kind of personality. zack and bringing in all the fun. billy and his intense intelligence. watched the once a ranger and billy is still bad ass same with zack. and trini.... always looking out for billy like mama bear. never be another one like her. jason being solid leader like a rock of steel. just awe inspiring. tommy was amazing a true team mate. always there when the team needed him. rest in peace trini and tommy.
So, since the Turbo movie was supposed to act like a preview movie of the new series like Ninja Rangers did, the one thing that could have saved the Turbo series, in general, was that they should have had Zordon explain why they needed new Turbo Powers. Like, he could have been like, while the Zeo Powers will keep getting stronger, over time they'll become more unstable and harder to handle (even morphed) on your human bodies, and this is why we fused more than part of the Zeo Crystal with the new Turbo Powers we have given you. This will make it easier to control and still give you the power needed, or something like that.. Easy, simple enough to explain and the fans would have most likely been fine with the transition. It's like up till that point, there was a good mini-series that explained the new look and transition of the Ranger's powers.
Btw... Jason was always my favorite ranger, partly because my name was Jason, so guess who got to be the red ranger by default. Epic fights with Goldar. Huge muscles. Leadership. Best role model a 3rd grader could have.
I always thought it was funny that there was a ranger named Jason and an actor named Jason in the same season. Like when someone said, “Jason!” Did they both look up and say, “what?” 😅

Love that ASJ is dipping his toes into the lore that developed after his season and watching youtubers. My list. 1. Megaforce: They literally have the powers of every ranger team past, present and future. 2. Zeo: Supposedly gets stronger over time. 3. MMPR: Longest serving team and has so many different powers. 4. In Space: agree with 6thRanger that they were the most resourceful and were up against all the baddies. 5. Time Force: The most advanced tech and they had power in addition to ranger powers. 6. Ninja Storm: Formidable in ranger form and out. 7. Dino Thunder: Mentored by one of the GOATS and has powers. 8. RPM: Agree with 6thRanger assessment. 9. Jungle Fury: Should be one of the top fighters due to their training. 10. Wild Force: So many Zords.

Great video. Completely agree with the list and Austin. I grew up on the originals and stopped watching after zeo. I’m still partial to Tommy as the white ranger (RIP JDF) but I did love seeing Austin come back as the Gold ranger.

Turbo (at least the first half) still have Tommy, Adam, Kat and Tanya (and also Ernie, Bulk and Skull are still here), also you need to watch In Space (which in my opinion is the best PR series), since is the end of Zordon Era.

If the projected power scaling of the Zeo power is what Zordon claimed it is, then by the time the Time force rangers came along over a thousand years later, the Zeo power which supposedly grow stronger over time would be God level. This whole list really depends on what year we're talking about.
@@user-ej5oz2mn6x Well I haven't read the comics too much, but I did watch the show for almost all 30 years. I've only ever heard mention of the zeo powers growth potential. It makes sense too because in the lore of MMPR/PRZ, the zeo crystal is where the morphing energy came from. It's so powerful that Lord Zed risked his life to try to take it and was horribly disfigured in the process.
@@douglasnysether7963 Yes, but Morphin Energy comss from many other crystals and items, namely the Nexus Prism an all knowing and divine star, Quasar Sabers, and even the Dino Gems. As for Zedd risking his life for the crystals, many villains risled their lives for artifacts tjat can Morph, namely Galvanax who created an entire game show to extract the Power Stars from Nexus Prism, Sledge looking for the Dsrk Energem that has been stated to destroy planets by itself, and Furio trying to get the Quasar Sabers but was not deemed worthy enough. I agree with you, but other artifacts have showm the same, if not more, powers over the Zeo Crystals.
Really would've liked to have seen you in once and always. Your character was there, but your physical presence among the cast would've made it that much better. In relation to this video I'd say mmpr has to either take 1st or 2nd on the powerscale after the feats in once and always. Some of the most powerful rangers of all time get captured by robo Rita, yet it's mighty Morphin, the original rangers who get the job done. A little confused as to why Tommy didn't use the master morpher to turn into his dino thunder or red forms. I think they chose green purely for nostalgia purposes as the white mmpr ranger is up there with the likes of the zeo power set. Rarely however do people mention the silver ranger from super mega force. He is able to use any and all of the additional ranger keys and combine them into a battlizer mode.
Would have been cool, but ASJ is under probation for current issues we won't get into, meaning he is not going to be allowed to go anywhere except for convention appearances (and from what I heard, Once & Always was filmed in New Zealand). I hope he is found innocent of all charges, as he does not look like the kind of guy who would do such a thing. And they probably didn't use Tommy's other forms on the grounds that this is supposed to be an MMPR reunion special.
Austin needs to be cleared of these charges and be in the next special, along with Amy Jo Johnson. There is no reason whatsoever that the still living 4 of the original 6 rangers can't work out a deal and be in the next movie together.
Not to mention the Zeo powers get stronger over time. So if they had held onto them for a few years, or a decade or longer, they would have been immensely powerful.
@@user-ej5oz2mn6x Setting aside this is a year after the original comment for a moment: If the Zeo rangers held onto their power until the "present day" of the continuity, which we know at least one _had_ done, they would have been able to decimate just about anything because of the whole getting stronger over time and the decades of intervening time. But hey, if you don't hold that same opinion that's cool, do you. I'm still working my way through the franchise and haven't seen everything yet. I only came back to it after JDF and then I started at the beginning. I have every episode, just not had the time to go through it all yet, I'm in the back half of SPD currently.

But as someone whose seen it all, Zeo has not grown that much in recent years, and then we have teams lile Jungle Fury(No Spoiler) that have grown so much in strength they are able to keep up with Main Villains that defeated them many episodes prior, at base form. I was with the granddaughter of the Professor from Space for almost 11 years. We have a daughter together. Space was my favorite series, so making Jack Banning's great granddaughter is an honor And hey, you were in Zeo! Don't count yourself short!
My favourite team is zeo so naturally I’m gonna have a biased answer and say they’re the strongest team, especially with their powers growing with time but the most logical answer is Mystic force. With magic, the ability to control elements, legend warrior mode and the most mobile and probably the strongest red battilizer. It has to be them
His least seems to miss Super Mega Force. Their access to every other Ranger teams' powers, actually makes them the strongest team. Add to that, the ability of the Silver Ranger to access so many Ranger powers at the same time, just further adds to their strength.
Completely agreed with his top 3 and also they happen to also be my favourite 3 teams too except with MMPR #1, Zeo #2 & Time Force #3 Always love Austins reactions to these!
They're top 3 because 6th Ranger is a guy who hasn't done research, and wants to appease the fans by pytting teams they like as strong, when none of the Top 3 would make it in an actual Top 10.

As far as Zeo goes, the Zeo powers were said to only grow stronger over time. So with veteran rangers on the team and powers that never have a cap, the Zeo powers will continue to grow to the end of time. Thereby it will always eventually be stronger than whatever challenge they come up against.
That's going to depend on how much Zordon restricts the flow of the powers. It's an under analyzed part of season 3 when the thundrrzords are destroyed they are channeling more power to the zords. What isn't said is how much they were held back. Rewatch green with evil and tell me one time a ranger shows the ability to body a team like green Tommy did. Once he joins the team you never see that level of power. And even with the upgrade to white then zeo and turboyou don't see any real difference in the fights. This shows again in dino thunder the white when evil is easily able to take on their teammates. But once part of the team seems nerfed. Showing that the heros restrict how much power they use. Based off the evil rangers I'd say mmpr then space then zeo because next to the evil change of hearts the psycho rangers were able to go toe to to with space and turbo and were a threat to lost galaxy as well

@@altaire34 Zeo Gold kinda is, but even without Zeo Gold I'd have to disagree. Mystic is magic, but they are all green. Every Zeo has time as a ranger under their belt from the start-even Zeo Gold was the original Red MMPR Ranger. They have experience and a lot of time working and training together as a team. They are a cohesive unit.
Couple that with Billy's smarts making things for them, access to Zordon's wisdom and resources, and they will always have the edge as their powers continue to scale and grow.
Even without Billy, Zordon, and all of that, the Zeo powers alone are enough. Where as with Mystic it's a case of not knowing their upper power levels and only the potential that the magic is unlimited, with Zeo the powers come from the Zeo crystal, connected directly to the Morphing Grid itself as a conduit, and it is established canon that there is no upper limit, that the Zeo powers are unlimited. I think with time and training that team would be able to handle and grow to control the ever increasing power limits to avoid the stresses like Jason suffers as Zeo Gold
It boils down to Rangers with years of experience and an established no upper limit vs. Rangers who are talented but don't known each other as well (in comparison) and only a potential lack of an upper limit to their powers.

First of all I want to tell you that even at the age of 33 today. I still love Power Rangers since I was 5 years old. You changed my life and created magic for everyone ❤️ My favorite team since childhood is Mighty Morphin and I will explain. Every Ranger had a character. A role. Jason was always patient with others. He knew how to show amazing fighting skills. He knew how to lead the team and he also had the character of a leader. Jason is like the Green Hulk as Bruce Banner - always avoids fights because he always knows he will win them .Zach was always funny. Energetic. Knows how to show leadership ability. And combined dancing with fighting is the coolest thing there is. Trini was always the wise one and the soul of the team. She was always the first to help.. Billy of course without his brain the Ragers had no chance even if they were technologically limited. Kimberly always put everyone first (like he said in the special. Being a ranger should be selfless) and always kept morale up. And JDF Tommy. I think he was the fastest in terms of martial arts. In terms of strength, equal to Jason. Not saying who is weaker or stronger. Essel, both of you have been and remain my heroes since forever. I would also like to take the opportunity to show you my collection. This is REALLY COOL! I love how this feels like the OG Red Ranger talking some grade A smack about some others teams while still showing respect.
Personally the original Ranger team was always my favorite. I thought the team was the most well balanced as far as personalities, perspectives, and was diverse without feeling like it was forced. Even though there were a number of stereotypes present that didn't come in the way of the characters friendships with each other. Each of the, "teenagers with attitudes." were leaders in their own right and each got equal time to shine. Even later on when they added the 6th Ranger in Tommy the dynamic of the series was still great. Looking back, the interactions between Jason and Tommy were very grounded. Both men very powerful and dominant characters and of course they would disagree and but heads. I agree that the Zeo Rangers were the most powerful team in the series though. Between the power ups as well as consisting of a team of veteran Rangers including both Tommy and Jason and you almost have a dream team.

I agree zeo is the most powerful team but Mighty Morphin is more balanced. MMPR doesn’t just have Billy. That team also has Trini who is the mid point of mostly everything.
Zeo can be a bit off balanced since Jason, Tommy, Adam overwhelmed Rocky, Tanya and Kat.

Zeo would need to be considered the most powerful. The Zeo Crystal is a perpetual energy generator that only gets stronger the more it's used. Combine that with a veteran team that worked well together and you have a team capable of destroying The Machine Empire - A group that has laid waste to other ranger teams in the past.
Growing over time doesn't mean anything, veteran Rangers doesn't mean anything if they don't have the powers to accomodate, and The Machine Empire are not as impressive as the Nighloks, Armada, and Sporix Beasts, even the Animal Spirits army.
Austin, you have no idea how much I needed to see your reactions. This made my heart so happy and you got such a genuine reaction and I hope to meet you again. But as a Power Ranger or a Kamen Rider

For the original mightily morphing rangers they also had an advantage that none of the others did. Zordon said that the power would give the rangers knowledge of how to use their zords. Although he didn't say but is evident, it also gave them knowledge of to fight while in morphed mode. That is evident with Billy and Kimberly, the two had no previous martial arts experience. That team could have become the most powerful, had they trained morphed unlocking more knowledge and power from the morphing grid.
None of that means anything, and is applicable to every other team.
I feel like the men on the Zeo team kicked butt (Tommy, Jason, Rocky and Adam) but neither Cat nor Tanya was selected by Zordon to be a Ranger. Cat was hand chosen by Kimberly and Tanya was the girl Aisha happened to run into when she was sent on her Zeo quest and honestly, I never felt neither of them really showed the hand-to-hand fighting skills that the previous ladies on the Ranger teams did. Trini and Kim could hold their own in fights. I felt that Cat was always yelling for Tommy to save her, and yeah, I know Kim did too but Kim could do cool back flips and stuff.
I bet someone must have mentioned it already but in case not, Maligore's suit wast re-used for the Dark Specter character (as the big bad to whom all Rita, Lord Zedd, Divatox and the Machine Empire had to anwser to). They even have Divatox make a joke of him reminded her an old boyfriend of hers.
I love watching Austin react to this videos. The 6th Ranger does a great job at videos like this and to have Austin react to them has got to make his day

5:36 In between Turbo and In Space, Dark Spector was the brother of Malagore, I think. In production, they just used the same costume from the movie to save them some time.
8:24 They were the first to have them as their base form, but they weren't the only team in Power Rangers. Dino Charge had the Gold Ranger with a cape. Dino Fury also had capes, but only with different Ranger Keys.
The Super Sentai source for Mystic Force actually had the core 5 as siblings with Green as the eldest brother, Pink the eldest sister, Yellow and Blue being the middle children respectively, and Red being the youngest. MagiShine (OG Solaris Knight) was the late-arrival mentor, but also eventually marries MagiBlue.

This has to be one of the most hilarious videos I've seen in years, if only for the sight of Austin/Jason admitting "Okay, I didn't know that..." Its kinda like seeing William Shatner reviewing the Star Trek franchise despite being only seen in a single show. That said, rest assured, Austin, I am one of the many fans you unintentionally made a Ranger out of (Power Coin not withstanding). Your work as Jason and Tommy/Jason both inspired me to fight to continue my training in several forms of martial arts while struggling with depression due to epilepsy (seizures). Your role in a simple TV show was enough to turn a struggling child into a proud martial artist and I couldn't thank you enough.
In terms of accomplishments it has to be the Spade Rangers. They fought a literally galactic army and saved the galaxy. The Z wave is probably the single most important moment in the series in terms of its implications through the show.

If there is a story featuring Jason, it should focus on dealing with his death. It would be like the Green Candle all over again, expect the team mate is really gone.
Think it had to do with the... static between him and JDF. He seemed like, he didn't want to cause any sort of real issues between the fans and so while JDF was heavily involved, he focused on his own life.
JDF is gone now (rip), and he seems to have recognized the hole that left in the Fandom, and decided to try and step in and fill the hole the best he could in his own way. Taking up the reigns, as it were.

ZEO is Def the strongest. The martial artists from the male side is absolutely A tier. The females, Kat already had a lot of experience while, Tanya was the newest member, she was a great counter part to Kat. And Billy being a support character was great.

Im 25. I got into the franchise with Dino Thunder. I had older sisters whos friends were big MMPR fans, and I inherited their MMPR Red Ranger with the head flip. Its still one of my most prized possessions. I went back and watched all of MMPR recently and Im officially hooked

See, Austin made the same observation I had years ago. The Malagor and Dark Spector confusion. However, I just chalked it up to being of the same species. Malagor was normal, human sized when he came out of the lava pit. Dark Spector was large all the time. This is why I decided they must just be of the same species or, at least, realm.
Hearing Austin's commentary about the franchise post MMPR, is actually cool.
Mighty Morphin was my favorite but he had some good points about the Zeo rangers.

My personal choice would be the Zeo Rangers. The Zords from that season were particularly impressive (both Zeo Ultrazord variants dwarfed the average monster), and the Zeo powers were at no point destroyed.
Ultrazords do nit count when talking about a team, and the powrra.not being destroyed kind of.shows how weak the Machine Empire then.

Obviously, the out-of-universe reason was to conform to the latest round of Super Sentai footage, but the writers simply didn't handle it well.
@@mam162 Yeah, the handling was quite weird. Though, there is actually an explanation in-universe for the switch; it's that the Turbo Zords are actually stronger than the Zeo Zords, as those weren't enough to beat Maligore.
So even if Zeo are stronger than Turbl, their Zords are the opposite(Because a strong team doesn't necessarily have the strongest Zords).

It's because Trey of Triforia was technically 3 people. So the Gold Ranger had the power of 3 people.
Master Morpher has powers of 4 DIFFERENT rangers. It doesn't allow Tommy to use all of them at once. He can use them one after the other. But on the other hand the Zeo Gold Ranger had powers of 3 rangers wrapped into one in Jason which is technically 4 ranger powers in the suit of one ranger which made the Zeo Gold Ranger the strongest ranger in the history of Power Rangers.
The gold rager had the power of Trey and Jason all at once while Tommy's master Morpher only gave him one form at a timr

Overall I would say that Power Rangers S.P.D. had a pretty good team for the Disney era of Power Rangers. S.P.D. rangers are trained as cadets in a police academy with most of the rangers having unique quirks. Quirks such as Bridge(Green) saying Buttery whenever they have toast and Sky Tate(Blue) being the son of a former red ranger only to be reassigned to the second in command blue ranger in favor of the new guy Jack(Red). There is conflict amongst the team at first when it comes to teamwork, but when push come to shove they rise to the occasion to protect planet from evil aliens.

It'd be a nice accomplishment, if the video wasn't filled with lies.
So, since the Turbo movie was supposed to act like a preview movie of the new series like Ninja Rangers did, the one thing that could have saved the Turbo series, in general, was that they should have had Zordon explain why they needed new Turbo Powers. Like, he could have been like, while the Zeo Powers will keep getting stronger, over time they'll become more unstable and harder to handle (even morphed) on your human bodies, and this is why we fused more than part of the Zeo Crystal with the new Turbo Powers we have given you. This will make it easier to control and still give you the power needed, or something like that.. Easy, simple enough to explain and the fans would have most likely been fine with the transition. It's like up till that point, there was a good mini-series that explained the new look and transition of the Ranger's powers.

Btw... Jason was always my favorite ranger, partly because my name was Jason, so guess who got to be the red ranger by default. Epic fights with Goldar. Huge muscles. Leadership. Best role model a 3rd grader could have.
I always thought it was funny that there was a ranger named Jason and an actor named Jason in the same season. Like when someone said, “Jason!” Did they both look up and say, “what?” 😅

My list.
1. Megaforce: They literally have the powers of every ranger team past, present and future.
2. Zeo: Supposedly gets stronger over time.
3. MMPR: Longest serving team and has so many different powers.
4. In Space: agree with 6thRanger that they were the most resourceful and were up against all the baddies.
5. Time Force: The most advanced tech and they had power in addition to ranger powers.
6. Ninja Storm: Formidable in ranger form and out.
7. Dino Thunder: Mentored by one of the GOATS and has powers.
8. RPM: Agree with 6thRanger assessment.
9. Jungle Fury: Should be one of the top fighters due to their training.
10. Wild Force: So many Zords.
How is SPD not on your list?

Also, kick Ninja Storm for Ninja Steel.
Great video. Completely agree with the list and Austin. I grew up on the originals and stopped watching after zeo. I’m still partial to Tommy as the white ranger (RIP JDF) but I did love seeing Austin come back as the Gold ranger.

Yes, we are going to ignore because it's not true. Most people say it because "Nostalgia" and whatnot.
If the projected power scaling of the Zeo power is what Zordon claimed it is, then by the time the Time force rangers came along over a thousand years later, the Zeo power which supposedly grow stronger over time would be God level. This whole list really depends on what year we're talking about.
Yeah, whatever Zordon dkesn' mean anything and other teams power grow over time, but those don't count I guess.
@@user-ej5oz2mn6x Well I haven't read the comics too much, but I did watch the show for almost all 30 years. I've only ever heard mention of the zeo powers growth potential. It makes sense too because in the lore of MMPR/PRZ, the zeo crystal is where the morphing energy came from. It's so powerful that Lord Zed risked his life to try to take it and was horribly disfigured in the process.
@@douglasnysether7963 Yes, but Morphin Energy comss from many other crystals and items, namely the Nexus Prism an all knowing and divine star, Quasar Sabers, and even the Dino Gems.
As for Zedd risking his life for the crystals, many villains risled their lives for artifacts tjat can Morph, namely Galvanax who created an entire game show to extract the Power Stars from Nexus Prism, Sledge looking for the Dsrk Energem that has been stated to destroy planets by itself, and Furio trying to get the Quasar Sabers but was not deemed worthy enough.
I agree with you, but other artifacts have showm the same, if not more, powers over the Zeo Crystals.

Really would've liked to have seen you in once and always. Your character was there, but your physical presence among the cast would've made it that much better. In relation to this video I'd say mmpr has to either take 1st or 2nd on the powerscale after the feats in once and always. Some of the most powerful rangers of all time get captured by robo Rita, yet it's mighty Morphin, the original rangers who get the job done. A little confused as to why Tommy didn't use the master morpher to turn into his dino thunder or red forms. I think they chose green purely for nostalgia purposes as the white mmpr ranger is up there with the likes of the zeo power set. Rarely however do people mention the silver ranger from super mega force. He is able to use any and all of the additional ranger keys and combine them into a battlizer mode.
Would have been cool, but ASJ is under probation for current issues we won't get into, meaning he is not going to be allowed to go anywhere except for convention appearances (and from what I heard, Once & Always was filmed in New Zealand). I hope he is found innocent of all charges, as he does not look like the kind of guy who would do such a thing.
And they probably didn't use Tommy's other forms on the grounds that this is supposed to be an MMPR reunion special.
Austin needs to be cleared of these charges and be in the next special, along with Amy Jo Johnson. There is no reason whatsoever that the still living 4 of the original 6 rangers can't work out a deal and be in the next movie together.
Not to mention the Zeo powers get stronger over time. So if they had held onto them for a few years, or a decade or longer, they would have been immensely powerful.
Again, other teama have shown the same thing but better.
@@user-ej5oz2mn6x Setting aside this is a year after the original comment for a moment: If the Zeo rangers held onto their power until the "present day" of the continuity, which we know at least one _had_ done, they would have been able to decimate just about anything because of the whole getting stronger over time and the decades of intervening time. But hey, if you don't hold that same opinion that's cool, do you. I'm still working my way through the franchise and haven't seen everything yet. I only came back to it after JDF and then I started at the beginning. I have every episode, just not had the time to go through it all yet, I'm in the back half of SPD currently.

But as someone whose seen it all, Zeo has not grown that much in recent years, and then we have teams lile Jungle Fury(No Spoiler) that have grown so much in strength they are able to keep up with Main Villains that defeated them many episodes prior, at base form.

I was with the granddaughter of the Professor from Space for almost 11 years. We have a daughter together. Space was my favorite series, so making Jack Banning's great granddaughter is an honor

I was a kid when the first season came out. And that will forever be my fav. And the red ranger was my fav. That's how basic i am, but im proud of it!
My favourite team is zeo so naturally I’m gonna have a biased answer and say they’re the strongest team, especially with their powers growing with time but the most logical answer is Mystic force. With magic, the ability to control elements, legend warrior mode and the most mobile and probably the strongest red battilizer. It has to be them

His least seems to miss Super Mega Force. Their access to every other Ranger teams' powers, actually makes them the strongest team. Add to that, the ability of the Silver Ranger to access so many Ranger powers at the same time, just further adds to their strength.

They're top 3 because 6th Ranger is a guy who hasn't done research, and wants to appease the fans by pytting teams they like as strong, when none of the Top 3 would make it in an actual Top 10.
