- Time to take a look at some of the merchandise in what is easily one of the best merchandise shops at EPCOT, if not all of Walt Disney World. Maybe that's going a little far...but still, this is a look at some of the current offerings inside Mitsukoshi located in the Japan Pavilion at EPCOT.

This needs to be a long term series from Ryno! Love these every week and seasons and products change so Ryno should never run out of content.
That is a fun store to go into every time I'm in Epcot.
I hope I'll shop there while I'm at Epcot, when Covid-19 is over, I would get a Pokemon Plush, Naruto Piggy Banks, Sailor Moon Socks, Anime Funko Pops, Studio Ghibli Stuff, etc. etc.
Please do not stop. I love these videos! This helps me so much before a trip because I get overwhelmed in the stores and I want to make sure I don't miss anything. These videos help me get to know the store layout and some of the merch. I know it might change by the time I get there but seeing this eases some anxiety for me. So, I appreciate them a lot!

Going to Epcot World Showcase and Shopping at That Store in the Japan Pavilion Is On My Bucket List When Covid-19 is over, Right Next to Hollywood Studios and Going to Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, and The Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom too.
Tom Nook is based off Raccoon Dogs also known as Tanuki. So the cup looked like him because he is a Tanuki.

If you buy mochi next time you go back, the peach flavor is soooo good! It’s definitely my favorite flavor they sell. We ended up buying 2 packs last time we went.

That mug that looks like a character from animal crossing is actually a tanuki (raccoon dog). It’s an actual animal living in Japan and also believe to have magical powers

This is one of my favorite stores in Disney world to browse in. The China store is less expensive by far. I love these new videos.
Ryno I adore you! You are too cute with the cat bags. LOL A few years ago my daughter found a couple Hatsunae Miku items. Of course she got them. Haven't seen any Miku merch since. We have to go in this store every trip. My daughter love all things Japan. She even got a kimono from here on our trip 2 years ago. We will be down in a week and a half. I'm sure she'll be wanting something from Japan. Glad you took this trip so I have a preview.

Our fav location in Epcot. We always try to hit it up after lunch cuz we will spend a few hours shopping and digesting. Lol and this is definitely a must to send directly to the hotel. Lol always come home with a ton.

I remember spending hours here reading the Pokemon Heartgold and Soulsilver official strategy guide and being amazed by the Gundam while my family was off looking at oysters and other Japanese home decor accessories. I tried to absorb ever bit of info from that guide book because they were quite rare back home and I was terribly cautious at the 8th gym battle against Clair and her free Dratini
If you ever come to Tokyo, check out Mario Kart. You can ride through the streets of Tokyo in a go-cart dressed as a Mario character or Disney character. You need an international drivers license. So much fun!!
I want to go to Tokyo so bad! Before the lockdown I was starting to figure out a trip to Tokyo, so when things normalize a bit more, I will definitely be making a trip! -Ryno

I love these videos. Some other stores to check out could be Pandora's gift shop, haven't seen that merch in a while. Momento Mori, the Harry Potter stuff at Universal.

I’ve actually thought about getting one of those sling bags from Mitsukoshi, and since I’ve been on sort of a bag kick lately, maybe I’ll get one. I’m sure I can order it online though.

Not a ‘fan’ of pokemon either but did enjoy detective pikachu, and Charizard is the BEST Pokemon! Ahhh music from illuminations pre show was playing, love it! So much cool stuff in that store, one of our favourites!

I'm expecting this series to remain popular after Ryno runs out of places in WDW to visit, so he ends up visiting tourist gift shops and eventually target and walmart. Ryno then changes his name to Ryno Tracker.

For anyone commenting more recently, please remember that this video was created three years ago. So much of the things inside have changed since then.
I just visited here on Friday night for the first time. Some things are still there, but much of it has updated. Lots of the plushys etc are different. The pearl area doesn't seem to be there at all now. The fine jewellery area has reopened. Lots of adorable and different things to purchase. So its definitely worth checking out
Also, thank you for creating this video! Although products have changed, I've shared this video with a friend who I know would love this store. So it's helped to give them an idea of what it's like, even though they couldn't join us on holiday.

Disney is missing a MAJOR OPPORTUNITY to bring merchandise from Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disneysea....ALSO they should have Disney merchandise where they collaborate with various Japanese franchises so we can get some Sanrio, Hello Kitty, Sailor Moon, Pokémon, My Hero Academia, Rilakkuma (the cute bear and baby chicks wearing various costumes), etc MERCH with Disney characters on them of Disney MERCH with Disney Characters designed in a similar way to those Japanese characters. It just seems like that stuff would fly off the shelves especially for those who are Disney collectors...if they got in exclusive items from Disneyland Tokyo you can only get for a limited time that they’d make a killing. But what do I know. You’d think the marketing and business geniuses that is Disney they would think of this stuff.
