When I wake up I have a nice clear baritone voice and as the day goes on it seems like works it's way up to the tenor range lol maybe I need to yawn more lol
brandon Same hear man. Any time you have some tips on how too maintain that, please forward that to me. I am learning how to sing, at 48. My voice never is baritone, but once in a while in the morning it gets that way. To day afternoon I went for a a massage and after that when I was booking for the next time, the lady noticed that my voice was a thunderous baritone. Then I thought, how can I maintain this?

I yawn a lot myself, I never fail to doze when Morgan Freeman narrates something on TV. It's like a hypnotic trance. That man's voice is so soothing, with such a perfect diction and articulation, that can relieve stress and acute insomnia.

Classic voice, along with James Earl Jones and Orson Welles. First time I ever seen/heard Morgan Freeman was in the movie Brubaker (great movie), staring Robert Redford. His part was small, but as soon as I heard his voice I sat up and took notice. Amazing.
The difference is the compassion Morgan had

Morgan Freeman started his career as an extra on The Electric Company in 1971. He's since done a ton of movies and what I think is the best part, owns and flies his own business jet. It's a Cessna Citation X, I think. Maybe a XII. Takes a long time and lots of training to fly a jet, so the guy is no dummy. As an aside, John Travolta owns and flies his own Boeing 707. Jet fuel is six-some bucks a gallon. Owning a jet ain't cheap. Just tugging it a few hundred yards costs thousands of dollars...

Okay not to sound like a dick but am I the only one that's not THAT impressed with Morgan Freeman's voice? Don't get me wrong, it has a unique sound and it is iconic and IT IS soothing to listen to especially on voice overs and narrative story telling but to tell the truth, I have an uncle that has a deep voice and that was due to drinking allot and he's around the same age as Mr. Freeman so what gives? It's just down to old age and other varying factors in his life that made his voice drop low and more intense. I don't see why people praise someone for something we are all capable of achieving as human beings. Morgan Freeman is one man but there are many that sound like him (maybe not down to the pitch) and that has exclusively to do with being old.
Again, not trying to take anything away from him but rather point out how stupidly pretentious this video title sounds and almost comes across as Freeman being arrogant and his voice being his only claim to fame when he's much more than that.
Your first paragraph sums up why his voice is awesome... And also no, no one sounds or looks like him which is why he does his thing... And he is an ACTOR and a VOICE OVER ACTOR aka hes in the business for what he does / has potential for and is the only one of that kind.
