CS2 launched without much issues all things considered. It performed far better on launch than most AAA games that came before it in recent years. There will be bugs at launch and it's okay. It will eventually be polished to gold.
I started playing counter strike since highschool and I stop playing after college. I'm 41 years old now with 2 kids. This song somehow hits me so hard that I started downloading the game and pick up the M4A1 Colt Carbine and AWP. I maybe old and out of prime but, I guess I can still kick ass.

I can't help but to feel that CS2's whole vibe is now changing from a realistic terrorist police force theme, to an esports kinda theme. Like they have finally embraced that this game is competitive and they changed from dark grayish to bright orange This theme is like that too, went from orchestral to futuristic
mhm maybe. sure it was a lot gritty. but you could say it represents our modern age compared to 2012. digital. cleaner. brighter. the fight grows bigger and more intense. like something great is gonna happen. evolution of events.
In a way, the old theme represented the ongoing battle between the terrorists and the counter terrorists, and this one is like an decisive victory for one of them, but we do not know which.

The best part of the song (1:58) is quite good. However, the problem i see with this (menu) song is that the build up takes too long. For reference, 1.6's theme "chorus" (high energy, powerful) starts at 0:43, and for CSGO (low energy, strings, very melodic) it starts at 0:32.

Feels like a downgrade. Why can't the game take itself seriously, it feels like tencent cashgrab trash since the panorama and agent update.
