You have absolutely outdone yourself! that wet bar is breath takingly beautiful...truth be told, I was a bit concerned about staining pine...since that has never gone well for me but it looks good there. Dad as usual had your six and adding the sink is impressive.
The project is magnificent ! Skeptical about the location chosen by your friends. The sink, the coffee machine in the entrance. The wine that will undergo temperature variations. But, that’s what they want.
Yooooooooooooooooooo Sam!!!! I think this one jumps into my top 3 favorite projects you've ever done. I think mainly because it's pretty straightforward construction with a major impact!!! Hoping all is well Kid, Dirty Jersey out!!
Sam, you look so cute in your Carpenters jeans, very practical for our favorite, DIY Huntress. Don’t miss out on Carpenter bib overalls, these were must wear item for girls back when I was in high school, white was most popular color but I must say we were stylin’ . 😎👍 Love all your projects and enjoy when Dad comes along for the ride. Way to go Sam’s Dad ❤
Love finding and watching your content. Such fun and useful projects with all sorts of good ideas mixed in. BTW - setting down and losing tools is the greatest excuse to get more tools 🙂 Have fun!
Sam, you do amazing work! This turned out beautiful 😍 If you want to do your own gallery rail in brass, I can recommend a website. I saw it in a blog, ordered it with fingers crossed 🤞🏼 😂 and it turned out great!! Also, it’s so much cheaper than anyplace else I found. I got three 40” rails for $90 delivered. The website is called Grand Brass Lamp Parts. (i can help with sizing if you need) So amazing! But again, you and your dad did fantastic work! Thanks for the inspiration!! Looking forward to your next project!
What a beautiful transformation of a previously unused space. It really does look custom and built-in (I guess because it is!) and it really elevates that simple little corner. Great job!
@@ENCurtis I bet if you polled all of the woodworkers that you subscribe to, at least 80% will say that pre stain conditioner is "patently" necessary for a non-blotchy product. But, if the customer likes the blotchy product, then you don't need to use it. Pine is made up of approximately 50% early wood and 50% late wood. That cause a soft/hard surface They will not accept stain the same. If the customer doesn't get to see the correct product, how do they know they like the blotchy one better?
Like I mentioned. The final product wasn’t blotchy and my friends were very happy with the end result. I actually even made them a sample board to choose from before finishing. I’d hope that as a follower of my channel you’d trust me as much as my friends did to deliver a finished, polished product that looks good. Sometimes what works for some projects don’t work for others, and that’s okay too. 💓
Sam I LOVE this! I want a wet bar so bad now! Also, those custom grooves in the stone for the floating shelves were such a great idea. I’m inspired all around! 👏🏼
Great job! Thanks for making a project like this looks easy (I know its not), it gives people courage to take first steps. I am wondering a bit about the staining of the pine. Is it a design choice to reverse thegrain pattern with the stain? My understanding is that people will put sealers on the pine first, so that the stain will not be soaked into the more porous part of the wood and make the wood grain a reverse pattern. Or perhaps that's a design choice that your friends ask for?
Sam, it looks amazing! When you put your heart and soul into a project, this is the result. As always shout out to dad for his skilful help. 🌺😀
Thank you! He’s the real MVP!
So happy to see you and your dad working together again.
Me too! So many fun projects with him coming up!

When staining pine, you should always start with stain conditioner. It eliminates the blotchy look, the pine causes, with stain.
This is patently untrue. Thank you for your input.
They actually lovedddd this look and it wasn’t blotchy at all. 😊

Wird location, could be better in wall next to the one, right at the entrance r y door
👍❤️
Hopefully they put a door stopper on the hinge of the exterior door so it doesn't hit all your hard work!
They’re definitely taking good care of this one. They’re the coolest. 🥰
What is the work van you are using? Love the video.
❤🏆
What is the point of holding the wood so close to the miter saw at 11:59? 😳
That looks so good!
Awesome build Sam!!
Just beautiful !! I would use this all of the time and I need to make it happen !
Thank you! It’s so fun!
Looks really cool! Maybe we get a proper reveal shot of the happy people seeing it next time? Lucky ones to have a handy friend like you 💜
