Faysal is indeed the competitor we need in the first division. Despite all the challenges, he's building a very interesting team this year. I'm actually surprised with his Lebball knowledge, as you said he could definitively be a good coach. We need young ambitious GMs like him to take our league to the next level on and off-court ( I loved how he introduced NFTs to the world of LebBasketball, halftime shows, Dynamo's cool jerseys...)
nice long episode it covered mainly everything. this is easily my second favorite episode after coach George last week. we need more people like faisal in the game.
Glad that you have discovered now, what i have been saying more than 15 yrs ago... keep up the good work Jad and good luck Faissal... however your ego can be your best friend or your worst ennemi... choose wisely...
I personally had a different impression of Faisal but he completely changed it after this episode….the game needs such people with good knowledge & character. As for you Jad , i don’t want to spoil you with positive comments🤪 but man you are doing a great job and yes keep on doing those long episodes cause its never enough.
Indeed my friend. Happy to hear that people are starting to see this side of Faissal. He has so much knowledge in the game of basketball that people don't see with all his Tv interviews.
You get to appreciate and respect more the basketball, not only as a game but also as a community with such interviews / podcasts, great interview as always 💪🏻💪🏻💚
Thanks for this episode, FK's a really interesting character. Although he comes from a political family and his connections and wealth definitely helped him reach the positions and roles he's had, the guy is clearly a hoop geek and has a rlly smart business mind. We definitely need more guys like him in decision-making positions across basketball. If only he could leave his party and see how they contributed to our downfall today.
Indeed he is.. I think politics and sports are so connected that you cannot have basketball without politics anymore. The roots of the game are so connected to politics that there's noway you can be in a position of power without any political affiliation
Jad i consider your interviews environmentally friendly .. you set new standards in interviewing your guests : 1- realistic introduction not overly pumping the guests 2- let the guest speak up and pay attention to every detail he mentions 3- concise questions yet very important ones 4- humble interviewer yet having a deep knowledge in the field of Basketball --------------------------- i call your interviews as environmentally friendly unlike the trend in our lebanese tvs where one interrupts the other , speak louder and finish yelling ... then we end up not understanding anything and having headache
What a great interview! Honestly speaking Sarde after dinner is a whole different idea than your show, and taking into consideration an off day for all ages,I guess uploading new episodes on Sundays again is a better idea. Full respect for the job you're doing 🙏
Thanks Ali. Sarde wasn't the only reason, also because Sunday night will have games in the Lebanese league (Monday turned out also to have games but not on Tv). But it's definitely something that we'll look at moving forward.
Just done with the episode and I can honestly say that Faysal is what the Lebanese Basketball needs today. He's ambitious, experienced, cocky to an extent, and adds a flare to the league, very very similar to what Guy brought (my first initial thought 10 minutes into this before this was said by you Jad). I wish Faisal the best of luck (just not against Riyadi 😆) and I hope he creates a new reality in the league. Jad, already told you this but you're a great host with on point questions, and a better listener which makes this show so successful. Cant wait for whats next my friend Oh and PS: Extra points for Faysal from a fellow Arsenal fan here as well 😁🔫
Hello coach Jad ! Loving this show a lot.. pure quality. Faisal is a very dynamic person, always on the forefront of action in basketball and football also! This guy dares to dream and make the impossible possible. Having said that, he is still young and makes a lot of mistakes but that's only part of the process of maturing and getting to be by the time a much better man. PS: Got very sad when u told him that electricity is going off at 12:30 am.. I will NEVER accept that fact no matter what!! I have high hopes for the country and things will evolve soon as it can't get worse than that and eventually basketball will follow through. So optimistic for the future.. Keep it up coach !!!!
A great show. Nice to see a Basketball team President so young smart and knows his trade that well. I liked how he also thought about the good for future of Lebanese Basketball instead of personal or even team gains. Good one👍 PS if we want the same Jersey where can we get it? 😂

Jad , Is it possible to carry out awareness campaigns among the fans of each club and impose severe penalties on fans who abuse and insult our players, especially the national team players, during the Lebanese League... These are professional players and they perform their job as basketball players to earn a decent salary they depend on for their livelihood
This happens all over the world, it's part of the game. Fans will do whatever it takes for their team to win and sometimes trash talk and pressure is a part of it.
@@thejadmbarakshow honestly i have never seen any fans supporting their team by insulting the other team's players , not even in the arab leagues . 7atta lamma they put the other team's natiional hymn , our fans booo and don't respect :(
Hi Jad, I love your work. I am even trying to convince my wife to watch your shows! I appreciate your guest's level of knowledge but his intentions towards Al Riyadi, as the president of a competing club, become questionable when he keeps talking about having a self-sustainable system. How can he publicly state he will help out a rival club no matter what? What if it will be at the expense of his club? Imagine what will happen of a club like Atletico Madrid claims it will support Barcelona if they need help.
Thanks Jad! Tell her the next episode is gonna be epic so better tune in 🔥 Sadly our system is managed like this.. Faissal, as the director of sports in Future party, is also responsible for other clubs that fall under their umbrella (Riyadi, Nejme, Ahli Saida etc. ) this is how the system works..
What I also like about you is how responsive and honest you are towards the public. Hopefully there will be a change whereby such "coalitions" will cease to exist. Wish you all the best and lookinh forward to many more of your achievements!
Very good episode 👏 but I feel you spent a long time in editing/cutting the frames 😀 Honestly Jad , this is your first time was not yourself hahah ^^ i expectedl from you more squeezing Faisal in the corner (in a good way,all respect to him) , not sure if you avoided manipulating him because of your role in Sagesse club or because you are hosting a politician sportsman ;) don't hate me brother ! I know how much you appreciate feedbacks ! Peace ✌️
Not at all my friend. I can honestly say i didnt cut anything. It was only because he was coughing 3/4 times during the 2 hours so that's about it. Other than that, left it all out there with no cutting.
Whiteside left Mouttahed and went to china during the playoffs. Mouttahed lead the league that year. Weird that Faissal is able to name players by their stats, yet he forgot what happened that year😅
I dont get how u want the best for the game and change the system and foundations and ur still part of the political parties that hurt our game in the way they affect every decision making in lebanese basketball
To be honest Omar (and that's coming from someone who literally has 0 political affiliation) you cannot have basketball without politics in Lebanon. No funding, and certainly cannot be in a position of power if you're not affiliated with a political party. That's how the system works, from the voting of federations to olympic committee to big clubs as well.
Faysal is indeed the competitor we need in the first division. Despite all the challenges, he's building a very interesting team this year.
