At the end of World at War, you won the war, only to discover another one had started. A war between the living and the dead; the pure and the corrupted.
In Black Ops 1, the war was taken to new heights and places, all the way to the sky and beyond. Eventually, it tore apart our world.
In Black Ops 2, the war carried on into the future, as humanity attempted to put the world back together. When we finally had all the answers, our expectations were subverted. The war spread into undiscovered territory.
In Black Ops 3, the war spanned across dimensions, threatening multiple universes. We fought fear, we fought destiny, and we fought our past demons. We won the war. Yet corruption still remained. And we restarted history, in hopes of escaping it.
And in Black Ops 4, we visited old places and saw familiar faces, before achieving our destiny. We came to terms with the end. We can’t fight forever, and we can’t just keep restarting. We need to rest, and we finally did.
The dust has now settled. The war has ended.
Game Over. We Survived 10 Years.
This video is a touching and very special piece. I am honoured to have been here for the time these games have been around, and I am glad to have met so many wonderful people as a result. The games I have had and will have have been joyous occasions, and I can’t wait to see where we’re going from here.
Thank you Rizzo. Thank you Treyarch.
Hopefully we go to Chaos. Aether was ruined in Black Ops 4
Jak Mockery damn bro you summed it up perfectly 👌
Gay
Marcus Black I don’t agree with many of the decisions they made, but that ending was 100 times better than Revelations’ one.
Dominator XXI no YOUR MOM
To quote Dempsey when he sees the portrait of himself on Kino Der Toten:
“Ah, a tale of Dempseys, starts slow, but has a happy ending”
Somehow this one off joke predicted the future.
I think you mean,
"Ah, a tale of two Dempseys. Starts off slow, but, has a happy ending."
And it kinda did predict the future, except Dempsey never got the ending they both really deserve to have.
@@Spyash2 Argarthan Device also acts as wish granter. It grants ones deepest desire for those killed near it. Ultimis' and Primis' dialouge in the end of the cutscene is to tell you what their desires were. They all get to live out their dreams. That's the best ending I could ever ask for.
redspiderman100 Victis: Are we a joke to you?
If the Agarthan Device truly does grant wishes, then I’m happy for Primis and Ultimis. They’re probably living in their own happy endings.
I just wish Victis had a similar fate.
@@dressiestsphinxsebastian125 Yeah Victis got fucked over
Shea Corduroy that wasn’t really a happy ending. They both died.
When my mom had cancer she was very sad. She was afraid. Of death. I was there when she was dying. I played this song and she liked it. Now i play this when i remember her. I hope you are in a better place, mom. I miss you
Sorry about ur mom she is in paradise now
How beautiful that you remember your mother with this song, remember that our loved ones never disappear, they always accompany us in our good memories that we share with them.
Very touching comment man
Tut mir wirklich leid für dich😢. Im here for you 😔
Respect
"You... were my friends"
They were my friends i will never ever forget that
They were my childhood
Entendí esa referencia mi amigo 😢😢
"The cycle is broken, Herr Doctor. Insurance policies are... No longer needed. I wish I could tell you I was sorry."
2008 - 2019.
It took us eleven years, but we finally broke the cycle and freed our immortal heroes.
They are still inside the dark aether without zombies they are not exactly free
@Babayega their souls alongside the entire zombie multiverse was sent to the dark aether, where they'll probably die for real and finally then rest in peace
@Babayega this is edward richtofen signing off ill see you guys in a different life time thank you for completing my story and fulfilling what us four could not do alone thank you uont goodbye I will miss you
My time has passed take good care of Samantha for our lives and everyone's lives please
They have returned to cod mobile zombies and are in the dark aether they are alive.
When you had the shot of Richtofen holding Dempsey's shoulder during the DE EE while the lyrics "I'm here for you" played, man, I love when you put in little details like that.
That broke my heart 💔
R.I.P. in piece the nicest Richthofen no one remembered.
Bei dieser Stelle kann man unmöglich nicht weinen😢😢😢
I never realised that!!
Feels like just yesterday that our friend from school is yelling at us to revive him because he has a ray gun
Lmao
After 10 years legend says that 5 year olf is now 15 and still screaming *FREAKIN REVIVE ME I HAVE A RAY GUN!* in the match
It's amazing. Almost worth going through the blood of the dead ee. Almost.
Almost, but not quite
I’d say everything was worth it, even playing die rise and blood of the dead.
@@Yaro2 your taking it a bit too far
I don’t know man, I enjoyed every single bit of it.
Even tho mob of the dead is way superior to blood I still enjoyed blood to some extent
Die rise I enjoyed it cause of the trample steam to get around the map and do stupid shit

You win....? Here's to 10 years!🥂
Its...its beautiful...
This was beautiful 😪
My life...😭🥺
The best part of a journey is not its end. It's the friends we made, the battles we lost and won, the surprises and the letdowns we went through. That makes a journey special, eternal even.
COD Zombies followed that to the letter.
This tribute really took me down a road of Nostalgia. It finally made me realize that I have been apart of most of the journey (since BO1) and to see it end just made me shed tears.
The Aether Story will forever remain in my heart as one of the best experiences in my life
Amen, I remember first playing Nacht Der Untoten in WAW for the first time a decade ago, little did I know, that was only just the beginning of an even greater experience.
I glad you like going down memory lane though my story
The ending made me tear up. What a ride. You're the best Rizzo.
The whole Aether story being finished hits so hard for me because I had the same group that played from World at War to Black Ops 3 but they lost all of their hype and enjoyment so it just ended up being me being the sole survivor of being hype for maps and where the story is going to go. I'll forever love and miss Aether and can't wait to see Chaos build up that same hype.
I know how you feel. I'm the only person in my group that still play zombies and follows the story to.
this made me feel more than the entirety of Tag Der Toten.
You're a genuis rizzo
If you didn’t feel anything at the end of Tag, you gotta go to therapy
This is the best zombies music video on your channel and that has ever been created. No joke. I cried I little while watching. Some parts really got to me and idk why. I think this was the best choice of music for this kind of video, because seeing Revelations at a point in the song where it feels like it's going to end only to start up again with Blood, telling the characters that their journey isn't over yet and a happy ending might not be possible. If there's one thing you can say about Blood, it does set up the themes of failure throughout the rest of Aether, I mean they literally die to save everyone and everything in the universe. It's weird, when put into the context of Black Ops 3, (especially Gorod and Revelations since when they break the cycle they technically never happened) Black Ops 4 just feels more powerful, I'm just not good at explaining why.
That all got away from me a bit but oh well. Amazing work, the perfect ct tribute.
Spoken like a true warrior.. I Share your thoughts
The more I watch it, the more I look back on a lot of my life... I met a lot of friends through this game and their story... But that's all over with now... It makes me want to cry
One of the best Contribute I've seen yet riz
Rip Aether
2008-2019
The story is not dead it but it changes in to dark
"Thank you for sharing vodka, thank you for fighting so well. And may goodness be to your soul. Dasvidanya, you fight like good Russian bear."
- Fred Tatasciore as Sergeant Nikolai Belinski
"You know, over ten years this has been a part of our lives, and thanks for letting us be a part of yours..."
- Tom Kane as Captain Takeo Masaki
"Thank you so much for letting us into your homes, these crazy characters we have. We really appreciate it, it's been an absolute blast. The Doctor finds you all delicious. And one last thing, I hate you Dempsey..."
- Nolan North as Doctor Edward Richtofen
"Thank you guys for an amazing journey. And I guess for one last time, ooh-rah!"
- Steve Blum as Corporal "Tank" Dempsey
Absolutely Gorgeous, this may be the single best Aether tribute we've ever gotten. God bless you Rizzo.
Everytime i look at the aether story and mostly the end in bo4 i cant help but cry and have goosebumps. 10+ years of pure happyness.
This franchise, this song, this video, so many Memories, so many good times. I miss prime zombies, I miss being excited for zombies, this will always be special for me
I can’t believe it took until this video for me to understand that when Nikolai says “I hope you remember one thing beyond any doubt” he’s talking about remembering that they were all his friends. Watching the ending cutscene, I was so confused every time I heard him say that.
Anyway, nice video Rizzo, a fitting tribute to Aether.
I love how this gave us a feel for each of the maps as if we were just jumping into a game of zombies like the good old days. I loved all the sfx on the different maps and it flows really well
“No one’s ever really gone...”
Even though our heroes may have been killed, their souls live on in the hearts of us gamers and most definitely Treyarch.
Ultimis were the start for us, even though they were meant to be the last, I’ll always miss Richtofen’s childish comments, Dempsey’s badass attitude, Takeo’s voice )Admit it, his voice was the best) and Nikolai’s obsession with vodka.
I respect Victis and Primis, but a part of my childhood is is attached to Ultimis and because of that I mostly felt a wave of sadness after Ultimis Richtofen’s death in Tag der Toten as he was my favourite character.
May you rest in peace boys... May you rest in peace...
😭
This reminds me of all the good times with my friend on origins...God I miss him
"There is something you must know without a doubt, you were more than my allies, my brothers in arms... You were my friends"
That line still hits very hard
This whole thing is good, but that scene in Die Rise with the matching beats is just SO GOOD
Excellent work Rizzo. The shots, the lighting, everything. You spent the proper time on every map and managed to get their most iconic moments, as well as add your own scenes to this. This is a great music video and tribute to Aether. You should be proud of yourself.
Just one question: Was that a fire Margwa in the Shadows of Evil section?
yes, yes it was. The color of it looks better in shadows IMO, since it's already a red as hell map it just feels right
This has got to be one the most emotional videos on CoD Zombies I've ever experienced.
I just wan't to say, thank you. You've brought together amazing visuals, one of the best songs in Call of Duty Zombies history, and overall an amazing recap. I love this. Thank you :)
*Finish watching the video with my eyes filled with tears* Damn .. didn't expect this to he so emotional
Thanks, treyarch... you made my childhood, and i will always remember the good times when me and my dad and I used to play zombies. Good times...
Tbh the only game series that could bring tears to my eyes, thanks for this rizzo
I mean it when I say it. I watch your music videos and I'm blown away, by how much effort and work that has been put into them. I don't say thank you enough; so thank you rizzo for making this awesome music video. I hope to see more sometime in the future. No matter where we go, I'll always be around to support and share this channel around forever. Your videos has inspired me, and gave me motivation as well as make me laugh. So, I thank you for that. I hope you are doing well.
Thanks again, Rizzo.
Masterpiece... I can't say anything else to this 🔮
You can see how much something has affected someone by the work they show to remember the event that led them to their greatest victory.
I’ve played the whole zombies and I got goosebumps relieving the all of the moments and maps that were fantastic. The whole storytelling was and is a masterpiece til the very end. I don’t think anyone will ever forget it and we will always remember it forever as the greatest story in COD history
Forever in Our Hearts.
As I shed these tears, all the memories come flooding in.
I’ve been watching you since 2012 and it makes me so happy to see such talent being used for awesome quality videos. Through my toughest times, I always came to your channel to bring more life into me. You’ve always been a huge part of my life and I can’t thank you enough for existing, Rizzo. Thank you!
Jr Rizzo, thank you. I have grown up with zombies, and watching this video has made me remember my best childhood moments. Thank you a lot.
though they are gone forever may those memories be cherished for eternity
Omg that was so beautiful TwT I know the Aether storyline had ended but it still makes me sad today
I’m not crying your crying. Gawd dam onions.
Ur right... I am crying 😭
*Modern Warfare is released and Activision is focused with Infinity Ward*
Treyarch: finally...
This didn't age well...
*Raven and Sledgehammer get into a dispute, leading to Activision slating Treyarch to do Black Ops Cold War for COD 2020*
Treyarch: …well shit.
Bro....I teared up knowing that I grew up playing this with my brothers and every hour we spent play together I will never regret.
This just made me realize that despair was around every corner in the story. Nothing could ever be gained without something greater being lost. Now that’s sick (in both ways).
That was just beautiful. Holy shit. Fantastic work Rizzo man.
Bro this song gets me every time and even hits harder cause of this video love u primis crew wish it did not have to end and love u jr Rizzo
The sad thing is, we'll probably never have a Zombies storyline as good as (or better than) Aether. 😓😢
The hype, the maps, the theories, the easter eggs that took time to finish, the epic songs from Kevin and Elena and Malukah, the days and years trying to complete the storyline, the youtubers that actually cared about their communities, and of course the madness and mysteries of Jason Blundell.
Man hits you in the feels remembering all of the3 good times I have had in this universe.
the video you made syncs with the song so well! this is very impressive!
This is the best tribute I've ever seen, It brings me good memories playing this incredible saga, Thank you!
Ahh, i nearly shed a tear. Thank you rizzo, i'm glad for this music video. It was a rough road, but i'm thankful we reached the end.
I cannot express the joy that this game and community has given me for these 10 years.
This was a game made not for the money, or corporate improvement, but it was made with passion.
If you are the type to enjoy a fun game with friends, or indulge in the most complex story of all time, or simply break records, then this work of art has it all.
I thank the treyarch Dev team for making a game like no other, and I think this glorious community that still holds it with high praise to this.
Zombies will never die.
It will live on in our hearts.
If another thing I wish for is this to be the number one trending in the gaming world but sadly that another too far
It so beautiful & sad ;-;
We come a long way... and you know, i do not regret playing that zombies mode back in WaW and now i thank you for the good times i had in it and all that came later... i will never forget, but always remember them
bro you got me crying in the end like, goddamn
i never though i was say this but i’m glad i came to this war. and game i have met many beautiful people and became friends with people who i never though i would call my family. this game since waw up to bo4 is my life. thank you for letting me be a part of this🖤🖤
Beautiful, emotional and perfect as a tribute to zombies. Great work as always Rizzo
the hole video is amazing.
3:46 I can say the most bad ass moment of the video
_“We didn't know we were making memories, we were just having fun”._

This. Is. Art.
Thank you Rizzo, for taking us along your journey with these games, through the high and low points.
Thank you Rizzo, for making an amazing tribute to something a lot of us spent a decade on.
Thank you Rizzo, for not giving up on your UA-cam channel after your harddrive broke down.
Thank you Rizzo, for the ungodly amount of memes from both your youtube and your twitter.
Thank you, RIzzo.
...Road to black ops cold war zombies... this was a nostalgic video...
I get goosebumps every time I hear this song.
I'm so fucking proud of you Rizzo, genuinely. Like, I know it's sorta cliche and all, but seriously man, thank you for delivering such a cinematic piece of art to us. People like you are what keeps people like me here and wanting to keep playing. Through all the memes and bugs and stuff, it's still worth it in the end. Thank you, my friend.
Amazing work as usual Rizzo. You always impress me with your cinematics.
Also fantastic last hurrah for Aether and Primis!
The video in Speed X2 sounds very good, and looks like a beautiful tribute.
Aether memorial? More like consecutive emotional gut punches by Rizzo for 4 and a half minutes. In all seriousness though John, thank you so much for this. I could see how much you truly love this game and it’s story with every scene, even that of blood, the map you hate, you still completed the Easter egg for this. So to that I say thanks for the laughs, the tears, and the memories.
Now this is sum good shit Rizzo.
The cinematics you make are always awesome!
I fucking loved the distorted bell you slapped in sync with the music during the Nuketown bit. Gave me chills.
Rizzo you are by far one of the best content creators out there and this video differently proves that
Seeing this video brought me to tears. Half of my life Ive been playing zombies.
Always took the deeper meanings of things separate from my peers.
Genuinely Lived in the zombies world for years., dropped out during bo2 dlc1 .
Then ,
had a wife and Son During Bo3s ending. .,Caught up on everything I missed..
every map by treyarch. On system link.
Did the eggs religiously.
The songs Daily...
Lastly. we sacrificed everything in b04. (My personal favorite modern Cod..) for Cold War. .
Been doing Alotta dm_ultra grind on cold war.
To sum Up,.. It's just nuts how far we have came. .
It's emotional. Like mob.. And blood. I was able to say goodbye differently.. Not ruining the game for Me.
It's just messed up bo4 was thrown away. I cannot get over it.
The zombies story line is my Childhood..
Thank you Rizzo. From the years of old to new beginnings. It was a wonderful ride.
Holy Shit, this video made me cry of joy, this series of zombies practically made up my childhood, Thank You Treyarch. For everything. And props to you Jr Rizzo, this video is beautiful.
So cool. Good job as always!
Rizzo....you were more than just a zombies youtuber...a shitposter...you...were my friend.
Thank you for all the wonderful memories Rizzo. Im proud to have shared them with you and this wonderful community.
Awesome video! Really touched me and let me remember all the great times
I know it’s silly, but I teared up at this.
These characters and the games have really ment a lot to me and got me through some rough times in my life, and now that it’s over, it’s bittersweet.
I want to hold onto that past, but I know we m’est let go.
Thank you Treyarch and Rizzo. Thank you so much.
just got around to watching this. Wow. Great work. This was awesome.
O man I'm crying watching something you loved end is so heart touching
The feels in the videos are overwhelming.
I can now rest in peace
Good work as always Rizzo and definitely my favourite. Thank you for this
Thanks Rizzo, it is a beatiful and emotional video to summarize those 11 years
:')
Man that was so fucking beautiful man thank you man. My entire childhood from the begging
seeing this on my birthday just broke me, my wish was to go back. back to where it began
You have been getting really good with cinematic stuff
Fantastic work
This touched my heart like nothing about a game ever❤❤❤
This was simply an amazing piece of work very well done.
This was definitely worth the wait, amazing job Rizzo!
"Great is the struggle between light and darkness, age old and yet ever new.
Yet know ye, oh man, that in the future, light shall be all and darkness shall fall."
-Thoth
When I watched this video in my mind I heard resnov yell "UURRRRAAAAA" with his men for one last hura for a series I loved from beginning to end.
I don't know if you consider yourself a "Zombies UA-camr", but I hope you know that you are genuinely one of the most passionate and down-to-earth creators not only within the Zombies community, but this platform as whole.
Seriously. All the little details (like OG Der Riese showing up first instead of The Giant because The Giant canonically came later despite the latter being more graphically inpressive) really exemplify this as a true labor of love. You're 100% my favorite creator within the Zombies community and I cannot wait to see the Tag der Toten review (and to watch you suffer through the Buried review lol). Keep up the good work Rizzo, this is fantastic. Also fuck you for making me cry over baby toys.
It was a long journey and we’ve come a long way from that little bunker on a German Airfield. Tag Der Toten was a flawed but fitting send off and you made an awesome tribute!
Man remembering past is painful
Ngl, even though I felt a little disappointed with Tag Der Toten, I still stand by the idea it was a good ending with what they were able to afford, and do. I respect that. And I genuinely cried really really fucking hard when I witnessed the ending, and because of so many memories I have with these games, and how much joy they have brought me throughout these years of my life... the most challenging years that I have had to endure in this life so far, and yet these maps, these characters, this story... it's brought me so much joy to help me push through all the pain, and frustration... Idc if the final map is bad, I just am happy that these characters got a resolution that I feel was satisfying. Thank you so much for making this video, it brought me some heavy emotions, ngl.
Well worth the wait rizzo.
Thank you for something beautiful.
I cant believe its been 13 years of my childhood i wish i could go back i miss playing zombies easter eggs with my brothers on bo2 it brings me to tears to this day that its over
Damn that was really beautiful. Nice job Rizzo
OMG Jesus Christ this was amazing professional editing and quality I would’ve honestly thought Treyarch made this it looks so official even better than the ones they make bravo
Who knew a game would be so powerful and emotional man I can't forget zombies after how long I've played it
