"You shouldn't be drinking strawberry wine at 17" Every Gen X girl laughing while thinking about Boones farm.
The way they didnt recognize George Strait immediately had me shook.
I came here for this comment, my jaw literally dropped lol 😆 and I just started to officially like country music back in 2011 😅
King George!!! 😊
I was APPALLEDDDDDDD 😤
They are in California if I'm correct. Martine was the only decent one that got into it lol
I feel like not recognizing King George would be like not recognizing Tupac, rest his soul, if he was still performing today.
Watching this in 2024 after Toby has passed hits different.
Yeah RIP Cowboy
Can Garth Brooks have any more stage presence? OBVIOUSLY has never seen Garth perform.
RIGHT?!
I loved how Jaxon says “I don’t listen to country music” right at the beginning of the video, and then goes on to know about 90% of all of the songs.😂😂😂
He's so cool
The Asian guy that felt sorry for people in the 90s clearly does not know good music. The 90s was the best decade for Country and most pop.
90's got lot of genres of music. Thanks to MTV it spread to Asia I remember county music videos and if I remember they were played at night Wednesday and my dad's tapes and CD's bought from US when he was a Sea ferrer at that time.
He is stupid
That really pissed me off😂..
I sorry for his taste actually
And his mind.. thinking he living in a best period
Back when country was good and didn't just pander to extreme stereotypes
90s had the best country music hands down
🙌
These songs in this genre were what I remember growing up with! Best time for country!
RIP to Toby Keith, you were such a talented man and we're all missing you right now!
Garth Brooks literally the best selling artist of all time
Sadly, no. He’s only the second best selling artist in the US of all time. First place is obviously The Beatles
As someone who grew up listening to all these songs, this pained me in so many ways
Only one I didn't know was Strawberry Wine lol
Rest in peace, Toby Keith (July 8, 1961 - February 5, 2024) Farewell Cowboy.
Yes I'm crying!!!!
RIP Toby Keith 😔
"I feEl baD fOr tHe 90s"
Don't feel bad because this is gold era music. I'll choose that over what we have now
It was a hell of a good time to be a 20-something, that's for sure!
I' am African American Woman from the hood, but in the 90's I was all about Country, Hip Hop, and Broadway music. That's right in my 20's I had a love for Garth Brooks, Wu Tang Clan, and Stepen Sondheim.
I’m black in my twenties now and I also am going through my country phase. But it’s more Luke Combs, Zach Bryan and Chris Stapleton then Garth Brooks and Shania Twain. Tho I do love the classics
White girl here that grew up in the hood. I listened to pop, alternative, country (in college in the middle of no where Idaho) and rap. I ended up going to a mostly white college and got the looks while I blasted the rap.
"It's like his mullet went to the gym" is a killer line and also wildly accurate
There is no excuse for not knowing these songs.
Agreed
Jaxon transitioning from “I don’t listen to country” to jamming to most of the songs was satisfying to watch.
So many more great country artists that you should play like Alabama, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, and so many more!!!¡¡¡ Definitely need a part 2 of this!!!¡¡¡
YES! and dive deeper into these same artist’s less popular songs✅
Absolutely!
Chattahoochee !
The guy saying Garth needed some presence needs to see him in concert. Dude is all over the place and still one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to.
I agree, it's the best concert I have ever been to.
I've never been myself but I love watching his live concerts where I can find them. Where did the dude find that energy? I'm way younger than him and I'm out of breath.
RIP Toby. We are all cowboys for you!!!!!
we need more country reacts. this was great and they need to learn how great country is and how much country music has shaped other genres.
How did you not have them react to Brooks and Dunn?! They legit ARE 90's country haha
How do you know every country song and artist on the list until it gets to Geroge Straight and then don't know him!? The KING of country music!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯
It breaks my heart. It really does!
Personally super sad that no one knew who George Strait was.
i wasn’t sad. i was disgusted
@@kiloismeta8933 I was appalled 😮 lol
The entire Pure Country Soundtrack was great
Brian saying let’s go girls is everything.
Of course I don't find this video until after my idol passes away 😢. R.I.P Toby.
As a 90s girl who grew up on country, yes to all of this. I totally sang to all of these. I especially have always adored "Check Yes Or No".
I can't believe nobody knew who Toby Keith was!! R.I.P this poor man!!
Yaaaaaaaas! More of this please! If you do a part 2, include Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Brooks & Dunn, Wynonna Judd, Alabama, Patty Lovelace, The Chicks, Travis Tritt, Tanya Tucker, Trisha Yearwood, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Pam Tillis, and LeAnn Rimes. 90's Country had so many great artists, especially female vocalists! 😊
Agreed!
KING George. Put respect on his name. Truly the King of Country music.
RIP Toby Keith
6:31 “can I get some stage presence” this was some award show. Garth is concert is some of the best stage presence ever!
Absolutely! That statement hurt me personally.
Who is this man? I weep. That ladies and gentlemen is The King of Country music. The amazing Mr. George Strait.
Oh my gosh, this one was maddening! They didnt know why Shania's video looked like it did, they thought GARTH BROOKS (entertainer of the year winner forever) needed stage presence, they didnt know George Strait....?! I had to pause so many times to get through it,lol! Like, do they really not know music videos anymore?? Whew, that was rough and funny, but rough.
I laughed pretty good at that "Garth needs stage presence" as well 😂
R.I.P. TOBY KEITH
He will be so missed. We lost a great patriot I’m still in shock from his passing. Country music has lost a great singer.
90s has the best country music.
80s too. Alabama and George Strait, Randy Travis, The Judds, were all huge in that decade
Those songs were amazing. How could you feel bad for the 90’s.
RIP Toby Keith. 🥲
RIP Toby Keith. Your music will be missed.
I just turned 40 and I grew up on all these songs. This video hurts me... I love all these songs.
Country music in the '90s was genius.
Reba is the queen of country, fight me.
I'm right beside you. Tell them to bring it. 😂
I've heard each song at LEAST 1,000 times in my life.
All of these songs were my childhood and I have to say thank you for putting a big smile on my face. I love every single one of these songs and was so happy to hear them again. I wish you had put one Alan Jackson song in the list.
I was just saying. There was a disturbing lack of chattahoochee. But I’ll let it slide
How could they not know Shania Twain 😅
Asking for stage presence from Garth Brooks might be the most hilarious comment of this video. Ah, I feel old watching this!
None of them knowing Toby Kieth is heart breaking! RIP to one of the greatest country singers of all time!
I totally agree he was the best and so iconic. I’m actually shocked the React team didn’t show or acknowledge his passing recently.
Wayy better than all the "creative" artists shaking ass in every single videos these days
As a country girl growing up in the 90d I knew every single one and was highly offended whenever anyone made fun of the songs or singers lol country music will always be made fun of and it make me sad
I hear ya. 90s country was and still is awesome. Nowadays it's all gross music, cause I'm sure all of them know every word to wap. It's a crying shame.
RIP Tobey Keith 😢
I like all kinds of music from all era. But for the one guy that said . say I feel bad for the 90s. Don't feel bad for the 90s cuz country music in the 90s was very good just like lots of other kinds of music . In the nineties and before. . Much more enjoyable than some of the music they play today.
This is when country music was still country music. Today it all sounds pop. 90’s country music was my decade for music 🎶 💛
Strawberry Wine went straight over their heads! lol
RIP Toby Keith! 😢
I'm German and whenever I hear the words Country music and 90s I think of Cotton Eye Joe by Rednex, because when I saw that music video as a kid I unironically thought, that this is, what an american party looks like (and yes, I now know, that the band is from Sweden). To be fair I was 4 years old. 😅
R.I.P. Toby!
As a country kid in the 90s I approve this message....I can also say there's enough farms and teenage girls with nothing better to do that strawberry wine was a theme song for us all 😅
Asking Garth Brooks to get stage presence is the most revealing comment in the whole video
Go to a Garth Brooks concert. Man has stage presence for DAYS
As a 90s baby, this made me feel so nostalgic. I knew every single one of these songs!
The fact he asked for stage presence from Garth Brooks is hilarious 😂 that man puts on the best concert lol
Best concert I've ever seen!
Knew the George song as soon as I saw the classroom. Music hadn't even started yet.
I feel so sorry for them not knowing King George and Toby. 90s was the best for country music. They don’t have a clue.
Modern country music is just bad, golden age was the 70s. Parton, Cash…that’s where it’s at.
I feel sorry for these people not knowing great music and heartbroken they don’t k ow George strait or Toby Keith
Garth freaking Brooks. Enough said 😂 and to the one who wants stage presence needs to see ANY live performance from the 90's. EATS that stage UP every time
Peek of country music in my opinion! RIP Toby Keith 😢
Bunch of people that don't. Know who George Strait is? What rock they live under?Damn that's all I can say is Damn!!!
They should have played "All my Exes live in Texas"! That song is awesome
Not knowing Toby Keith and nobody mentioning Red Solo Cup was his song, something all of them should know, is a crime. RIP Toby Keith
Some people have never heard the whole room scream Strawberry wine and it shows
Don't feel sorry for the 90's, it was the pinnacle of amazing music.
My husband sang "I Swear" to me as part of his proposal 26 years ago, so it will always be a favorite.
George Strait has 60 .... number one's on the chart. .............. that's why he's the king of country music.
Oh, Garth Brooks has stage presence like no one else! Just watch his New York Central Park concert.
Better than anything country today
As a Texan, I'm happy that they at least knew some of these amazing artists. No lie, my expectations were low, but I'm impressed lol
6:33 "Can I get a little stage presence?"
Oh buddy, if only you knew.
Thank you! Defense for my main man Garth. His stage presence is INSANE!!
It’s crazy that some people don’t listen to country music
My feelings have never been more hurt…these are all classics 😭
I knew the majority of these songs, because I grew up listening to them. My sister is a huge Garth Brooks fan- she has a lot of his CDs, and she gets excited to see him on his wife's cooking show on Food Network.
Strawberry wine is such a great song and story.
No Tim Mcgraw or Alan Jackson? 90s country was absolutely stacked with talent.
90s country was a mixture of light-rock+country, and pop+country I feel and it was good.
"Adults" is really pushing the definition.
I mean a few if them are my age how do you not know these songs??
In the USA, anyone 18+ is legally an adult, so, sorry to burst your bubble, but if any of the reactors are 18+ they are legally considered adults in the USA.
Reba is a musical goddess on earth.
Born in 92 grew up listening to 80s and 90s country.
I’m probably younger than almost everyone in this video & I knew them all…but then again, I grew up in a little country town
I literally grew up in the 90s & knew all of those classic country songs! Understand country music might not be everyone’s cup of tea but damn at least put some respect on the classics!
How do they not know George Stright? He is the King of country music.
Oh these kids have never disappointed me for ages, until today!😢
Who is this man that my dear is the king. George Strait
Oh no. My heart is broken. Toby Keith just passed away. 😭😭😭😭
That was the last great decade for actual country music.
I’m 30 and knew every single one. I grew up on 90’s country. And I’m embarrassed of anyone that doesn’t know who George Strait is. 🤣
If anyone goes to a bar to sing "Friends in Low Places" make sure you know the 3rd verse.
@6:11
Since the 90s Garth Brooks has performed for every Presidential inauguration except 1......he certainly has friends in low places
The live version of “Friends in Low Places” is sooo fun, especially that 3rd verse
As an old South Texas boy, I have never heard so much disrespect in my life.
I'm a South Texas boy myself and the fact they don't know George Strait baffles me. But then again here in Texas, it's God, the Dallas Cowboys, and George Strait.
This was the commercial golden age of country music. You could argue all you want about whether the 90s was the best era but that ain’t my place. what I can say is that, without a shadow of a doubt this was the best SELLING era of country music
It's hard to argue when you have Garth Brooks and Shania Twain the best selling male and female country artists of all time (although Shania is almost full on pop by the time of Come On Over)
should do a competition where they have to name the original song and artist to weird al yankovic parody songs
