I really liked seeing the woman from Puerto Rico because of how dramatic her reaction was, It reminds me of Botswana the following year.And the USA was full of joy, everyone was going to hug her, it seems like they got along well. And what a coincidence the three white finalists.
Miss USA was a great sport. She seemed really happy for the other girls particularly for Miss Trinidad and Tobago. You can see her mouthing "good choice, good choice".
Fun fact: The following year when the competition was held in Trinidad and Tobago, Miss TT invited USA and her family to be part of the show. It seems they became very close during this competition. Wendy was beloved by her fellow sisters.

Oh I stopped watching after the late 2000s when I finally realized how rigged the pageant was. Now, this new Miss Universe (Pia Wurtsbach) is so much more real than recent ones. Trump does not own MU anymore and I really hope he doesn't again. The new owners are bringing MU back!
