NeccoWecco I'm sure that they were advised by their attorney to not speak to the victim's family to avoid incriminating their daughter. I would say that the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.
It's a difficult situation. You think they like what happened or somehow don't care about the girl who was stabbed? That's an awfully infantile view of the situation.
That's a hell of an assumption that they wouldn't speak to her family if the family *wanted* to make contact. It's just as likely a matter of giving them space and awaiting the moment when *they* (the victim's family) are ready. ...which may be never. But in that situation, you'd probably be waiting to see if and when it's okay too.
I do not believe Anissa thought Slenderman is real, she said that the stories are made up in the first few minutes of her interrogation. She used Slenderman to get Morgan to help her. And I think her Mother knows that very well.
Exactly! They were 12. Most 12 year olds don’t believe in Santa Claus, the tooth fairy, etc. So I don’t believe they believed in Slenderman. Also most kids know it’s wrong to kill. These girls unfortunately are psychotic. They need to be on anti-psychotics for the rest of their lives
Honestly i feel for the parents of all 3 families....imagine how would your reaction be if you found out that your daughter tried to kill her best friend and almost stabbed her to death.....imagine how it felt finding out that your daughter got stabbed by her best friends and might not make it....like its a really difficult situation for both the parents and its a horrible thing for any parent to go through what they've gone through
Well no fucking shit. She's his daughter. I'm sorry that he loves his child and is still in major disbelief by experiencing something that most parents shouldn't have to go through.
The fact that they are saying that they are "suffering equally" and defending their daughter like she's a victim too tells me so much more than their long and ridiculous explanation.
bro the 12 year old brain is not a joke. Nothing like the adult brain. I'm kind of new to the case, but this Wisconsin "a 12 year old is an adult" and should be judged like one is full of it. I'm not saying they don't deserve punishment, but when these things happen it's not for the sake of it. The child probably has a serious problem
@@RodriguezAby1 The issue was that they ONLY care about their kid. No words of condolence or speedy recovery to Peyton's parents for three years. Instead, these two are now publicly claiming to have faced an equal struggle as the victim's family.
@@RodriguezAby1 Of course they still care about there child but someone who says there stroggling equily dosent care about the victuim and is arrigant.
@@genebean4230 Now that is messed up trying to compare themselves to the family. No where near close to the victim. I did not watch the whole video so I missed that part.
Very true, they’re probably just very stressed out about the situation their daughter got herself into, and didn’t expect their own child to do something so evil at such a young age. Some parents can be very over protective so of course they’re gonna act like she a victim but that doesn’t make it right or what she did okay.
Sometimes I wonder if Anissa just wanted Payton dead because she wanted Morgan all to herself. Payton has revealed that Anissa was never really her friend and she was always mean to her because she had to share.
Yes. Not to mention Anissa would get physically violent towards Payton while Morgan did nothing about it. Neither of them deserved her compassion, and Morgan actually commented on Payton's level of trust in her, stating that "it was sort of sad." If that's not chilling, I don't know what is.
Well considering all the information in the court case I read and interviews... I took the time to research this case... and then there are dumbasses like you who only watch short youtube videos about the subject... God you are so stupid! Please stop leaving comments and spare the rest of us!
The woman said “what your kids are capable of” the father corrected her saying “SUSPECTED of” The woman said “during the interrogation” and the mother corrected her saying “INTERVIEW” You can see that the parents think that they’re child did nothing wrong Disgusting and irresponsible
@Layna Snyder I do think that they can cope but they’ve also lost their 12-year-old child to the system and that is not easy to deal with does this make up for her actions no but the parents have also lost their daughter in the sense to she can’t grow up and be a normal teen she’s had to grow up as a teenage girl getting her first period Doing all this other stuff not being able to hug her mom or truly talk to her about how she feels without being recorded or feeling like she’s being watched that has to take a toll on a person I think that this all came from a fear of the two girls families getting killed by this fictional character that no one could explain to them that it was fake because of the fact she was just on this website with all this creepy stuff and yes the parents were irresponsible for not checking her history also I think the parents had to kind of tiptoe around what they were saying to protect your daughter that is love for your child imagine if your sibling or your own mother or you had done that crime loving and protecting them is all that you can do to help I am not saying that they are suffering more but they are suffering to all parties in this whole situation are and it sucks I think what bothers me the most is that they were so young and not being able to comprehend that at a young age The fear monsters or aliens if they hadn’t brought up the Slenderman to their parents their parents would not be able to tell them that it was not real and they saw all this information online from thisI think it was out of fear and I think they didn’t know how to deal with it so they made up their own plan which was very wrong and people are suffering because of it in all parties
@@jocelopez8665 ok but they’re trying to excuse their actions and I’m kinda offended that you think I would love and support my family if they did that to someone

If I were your family no matter what you did I would come and see you or write to you even if it was hard for me to deal with what you did
Of course they don't want to believe it... I mean can you imagine if your own "normal" kid as everyone thought just murderd his best friend?? You sure wouldn't wanna believe it's real. Even though the evidence is overwhelming... You may not approve your child's actions, you may know they did a horrible and unforgivable thing, but most parents would still love their kids and hope for the best
During an interrogation one of the girls said and I quote *"I thought about killing her then I decided remorse would get me nowhere, it's easier to live without regrets."* What kind of child talks like this. Let's not forget how *Nikko Jenkins* started as a kid.
@@hopeinfused7127 true. If the victims parents would want to talk to them is another story but you should at least try to reach out and show that youre sorry for what your kid did. I mean I could understand if they need time to understand everything that happened. Must be really traumatic for the parents but after a bit of time they should have tried to reach out
Exactly... Tbh they needa just say their mad Peyton survived instead of tryna correct themselves. Correct yourself properly. Your mad that little girl lived to tell on your kid🤷
When the trial is still on, you mustn't approach the other side, even after, what do you expect them to say? Sorry our daughter tried to kill yours, lets have dinner and hangout!
Once my dog bit another dog at the park and I literally melt down on apologies to the other dog’s owner. Imagine your child stabbed 19 times another kid and justify it with “we are suffering equally” and “the laws are outdated”.
The comment about equal suffering was insensitive, though I imagine to them it's like their little girl actually died. She will be forever the mentally unwell kid that believed in something incredibly stupid and did this horrific thing. The only thing that really redeemed the parents to me a little was the mother wishing for Peyton find genuine friendship, knowing that her daughter wasn't a true friend and most likely has made it difficult for Peyton to trust potential friends anymore.
"we're struggling equally" no you aren't??? Your daughter tried to kill someone while their daughter almost died because your daughter tried to kill her. No, you aren't struggling equally.
They are in a way because survivor's family will get support but the other 2 girls' families will be seen as villains. Because of those girls their families have a smear to their name.
@@sanguineaddiction3436 eh, it's a trickier case than that. Morgan had schizophrenia, but wasn't diagnosed at the time. That could explain why she shows no remorse in the start, but is clearly in extreme distress when the case is brought up now, after years of intense treatment at a mental institution. I think she realized what she did during treatment and is now living with that.
That was added afterwards by abc, that's why the camera changed to a different clip at the same time and her saying "capable of" sounded funny. They just took advantage of a brief pause the father made to make it more dramatic.
Monica Hernandez, the father could still be in denial and trying to accept what happened. No one wants to believe their children are heartless murderers.
Father said....he is trying to process what his dawghter is suspected of ...because at this point the only thing he knew is that his dawghter was missing...then suddenly police says to him that they found Payton hurt and that his dawghter is now a possible suspect...
Adykayful I was thinking the same thing the whole time. Saying that his dad “was being accused” like no dude, she’s not being accused, she even admitted it.
Yep, shows a lot about their parenting and I do not believe that their daughter with this obsession with slender man never once said anything to their parents about it. My daughter around this time right before this incident happened heard about slender man at school and than watched a video on youtube about it and she was like 9 and it bothered her so much that she came to me and asked me about it. I found the origins of the story of that one and also Jeff the Killer (which she had heard from a classmate that scared her even more) and showed her how it was a made up story from an individuals on the internet. I explained that creepy pasta site to her and how it was all just made up stories. She was completely relieved. I think these parents ignored their child and didn't parent. I can guarantee she did tell them and they most likely laughed it off and ignored her instead of trying to have a teaching moment. Just like this isn't their daughter's fault in their minds they probably believe it isn't their fault either, just scratching it up to the internet. Please, your daughter hated the victim and used peer pressure to get the other girl to do her deeds!
I'm pretty sure they do feel sorry for her, but it is hard to deal with it for them because no one ever wants to think their kid can do something as bad as this
"what our daughter is being 'suspected of'" sweetie there's no suspicion involved, they tried to murder their friend at 12 years old and that's a proven fact
"we're struggling equally" I have a few thing to say, your daughter wasn't stabbed 19 times, your daughter isn't the one traumatized, your daughter isn't the one who has to live with the memories, your daughter isn't the one who probably has multiple scars all over her, your daughter definitely wasn't the one who has to live with suspicion, pain, hurtful memories knowing the her own friends betrayed her, and fear of a lot of normal things where people go, do, and play at, so you can't say "wE'rE sTrUgGlInG eQuAlLy"
He said equally struggling to process, I would think it would be way more difficult to process the fact that your child did that than to process your child was hurt
The parent’s are so disgusting like wtf “ Suspected“ MISTER your daughter tried to kill her so called best friend, they literally stabbed her 19 times”.
his daughter is the other girl and only got charged with attempted second-degree. minor mistakes like yours are major in a court of law, he was well within his right to speak up
They said they knew she was on the internet but apparently wasn’t that much parental monitoring 2:41 you’re daughter is a attempted murderer he said “be suspected of” no mofo she had blood On her and even admitted and asked if she was alive and was bothered not knowing
"We're equally struggling" no. you aren't. your daughter didn't almost die. your daughter didn't almost get murdered because of some stupid online character. you weren't emotionally robbed from your daughter. the only thing that you are struggling with is the realization that your daughter isn't a perfect angel.
Right.. I felt like the parents were completely unapologetic to the victim and her family. If I was her mom, I would be completely heartbroken and devastated to know that my daughter, who I gave life to, wanted to end another's. I would feel like a total failure as a mother.
@@romant142 yeah, but just the fact that the mom/dad are sitting here saying their daughter is "suspected of" tells me they are not ready to accept responsibility for what their daughter did. She was not suspected of, she actually attempted murder. Makes you think these people are in denial and never took the time to talk to her about issues. Sometimes kids don't share things with parents, but you still have to let them know u are there to talk always.
The dad never gives a valid example on why his daughter shouldn't be trialed as an adult. He just blabs on about the law. THAT'S NOT WHAT SHE WAS ASKING 🙄
Karisma god i was thinking the same thing??? she almost succeeded in brutally murdering one of her best friends in the middle of the woods by stabbing 19 times??? what the fuck
Stephanie Mukai it seemed like they were almost trying to discredit the victim and her family by saying that they are struggling equally with their daughter
Because they are struggling equally... What their daughter did was fucked on so many levels and now shes behind bars and they'll never be the family they were ever again. Idk how you would feel after trying to process the situation that your own offspring had caused, but i would definitely feel sad, guilty, and scared- not only for me but for her. She will never get the life that they had intended for her and there isn't anything they can do other than accept it. The victim was very injured, yes. But she lived! That's a miracle, and now she gets to move on, get married, have kids and just have a life in general while the girls who did that crime to her will barely even see the light of day till theyr'e old old women. I'm not saying what they did was at all okay, like fuck those girls that is so beyond messed up and stupid but you cant blame the parents for hurting just as much as the victims family, everyone is sad and confused. they're both dealing with the same issue just at different spectrum's, i have remorse for the parents and families, not the girls who acted on this at the slightest but the family i can feel for. I didn't find them creepy, i found them to be sort of nervous and only trying to be informative for the sake of their daughters name- but idek she stabbed some girl savagely with no remorse at the time, of course she has remorse after shes in trouble. idk i don't feel for the kid, i do for those that loved and hoped for her. I hope these families can continue life making it the best that it can be, they shouldn't let their daughters dumb ass decision stop them from being happy and active. Fuck those girls honestly, and i am just so so happy to know that Payton survived this horrendous act and i wish the best and more for her!
lb80123 The victim is scared do life. She most likely has PTSD and depression. She won't have a normal life. She also had no choice in this however her "friends" did.
I didn't say she had a choice??.. What those 2 girls did is beyond unforgivable, also i never said her life would be normal but it sure does get to continue. Payton is no doubt struggling still and always will but she has a chance to look past it and try to move on and be happy while those girls are jailed for most their lives-AS THEY SHOULD BE, with their parents feeling their guilt every single day. The parents of Payton still get to say they have their daughter at home at the end of the day while the other parents sit in despair for what could have been for their now criminal children and rethinking what their kid committed toward another kid. I"m pretty sure you' be pretty fucked up if you heard of what your own child that you loved and raised did. To be fair here, no ones life is normal and both families were affected negativity from this event. What those girls did was selfish and the parents should not feel like it is their fault and the parents of payton should not hold a grudge toward the parents of the other girls, but they can hate the girls because fuck them. I wouldn't blame their own parents for hating them after what they did so soullessly, pathetic honestly. I hope that everyone that is having to deal with this case and are coping with all the pain and confusion are doing well and that they'll be able to look past this and just feel blessed to have Beautiful Payton still walking this earth, it wasn't her time and she will go on to do great things. As for the other girls, i hope they do a lot of thinking and that they see how foolish this attack was. The slenderman...really??? just pathetic is all i can say about them.
“The laws are out dated”. No. YOUR outdated. Imagine if that happened to your daughter. You would say the same thing, you would want them to be in prison for life. Your daughter deserves the same. A cartoon is not an exuse.
@@jazura2 I love how this is literally about parents not taking complete responsibility for their daughters' actions, yet the only thing you're concerned about is a grammar mistake.
"I was scared that slender could kill my family in 3 seconds" Girl you just destroyed a whole family in less than three seconds the moment you decided to kill your bestie
Uh well it’s still attempt of murder so if I were to stab someone 19 times they would most likely die so it’s stupid how your saying “she did not die”but she was gonna if the knife went any deeper and a good chance she would have lol
I like how the father really said “suspected of” after hearings what she was “capable of”, they both admitted to do the crime, she was clearly a sociopath and needs help. And by help I mean being put in a cell for the rest of her life for what they both did to that poor girl
It's weird that they said they were "EQUALLY" struggling so they think having to deal with their daughter almost dying is equal to their daughter killing someone? That's just insane.
Think about it this way. Peyton's parents are getting sympathy from others because their daughter was the victim. These two are getting blamed for their daughter's actions (parents aren't the only source of a child's behavior), accused of covering up or defending her (like any parent would, though notice they didn't say she didn't do it), and basically treated as though they're criminals (guilty by association, I guess). Of course, what their daughter did was terrible, but the saying "hindsight is 20/20" comes into play here. It's easy for those of us who don't know them or their daughter to say, "Well, they should have known something was wrong," but that's not fair. There aren't always signs when there's a problem. My best friend tried to commit suicide several times. Her parents were on guard for the later attempts, but she did a great job hiding any evidence from them (or me) before the first. Two of my friends threatened to shoot up our school, and, again, there were no signs. They just wrote a note one day when they were upset, and then they were in the juvenile detention center. Besides that, they probably blame themselves for all of this. Again, "hindsight's 20/20." Looking back, you start thinking about the things that you could have done differently or the minor details that suddenly seem hugely important. If they're constantly trying to think of how they could have prevented this or why it happened in the first place, then yeah, I'd say their struggle is about equal. I'm not justifying their daughter's actions, and I'm not claiming to know anything about what happened or why. I'll leave that up to the legal system since that's their job. But all of the families were victimized in this. You'd probably be going through hell, too, if you learned that your daughter had psychotically attacked one of her friends, nearly killing her.
@Remi Corbin What's insane is all the crap children are exposed to for hours everyday on the internet. I wouldn't be surprised if there will be more coming down the pike. These 2 are simply the first generation who have grown up with youtube and parents had no idea. It's like the obesity epidemic. Once kids were all skinny now there is a huge problem with obesity. In the future there are going to be HUGE scary behavioural problems with children. So unless you don't have young kids I wouldn't be so smug and unsympathetic if I were you.
mo O I do not have kids but I can say this, it is wrong and cruel to tell 2 twelve year old girls they have to go to jail for 30 years because of a computer game.
Their daughter almost stabbed a girl to death and left her to die. And the parents are going on about how the laws are outdated and comparing this horrific crime to illegally flying drones??? They can't be serious.
That's what I thought! I understand that they've been through a lot but standing up for a killer?!! If it was their daughter who'd been stabbed 19 times and left for dead, I'm not so sure they'd be so understanding!
chelly d Your comment gave me chills... Yes they did a terrible unspeakable thing but death shouldn't bring death. Also it's a more fitting punishment for these girls to live with what they've done then just outright kill them.
If that where my daughter I would never in a million years stand up for her. She attempted murder to try and prove herself worthy to a fictional character. Stabbing a best friend 19 times for slender man that’s really messed up. These girls confessed that they had originally wanted to murder her for her to die. This whole thing gave me the chills
I thought the exact same way their daughter was not an extremely young child and easily swayed I believe what the father said about him suffering from his daughter imagine the struggle of waking up in the morning and saying my daughter could be dead. This case is disgusting
The father stated that his daughter was a "SUSPECTED" on, please. They are acting like their daughter is a victim. I hope the parents are reading this. Your daughter is a cold-blooded killer; she is not the victim
“Don’t talk business” this mother saying this is horrible it shows that they have not given all the details from the horrible crime and the girls that tried to MURDER there “friend” need to never walk free again!
@@jennyboldrini7330 totally agree with you, but she clearly isn't good in English she struggle to find words ... I don't think she meant it that ways, she could've said "talk about it".... But THE DAD "suspected of" he is in clear denial even with all the facts and what his daughter said!
Dennis Duncan well they are trying to be careful...anything they say can be used in court against her. So I think she sounds a bit robotic maybe because she's thinking about what she's saying versus saying what she feels.
“The laws are outdated” *OUTDATED* oh yeah getting arrested for *murder* is such a bad law!! What is wrong with these parents like you are NOT suffering equally, your daughter tried to MURDER SOMEONE
But you cannot consider a child as young as 10 as an adult and judge him/her as such ! Their brain isn't fully developped and they have still difficulties to differentiate reality from fiction. At 10, you only just realize the finality of death. Once again, the USA have the most absurd laws ^^. You HAVE to judge those kids, of course, but as what they were at the time of their crime: kids.

And the fact that this is basically 1st degree murder shows that these girls have pretty mature minds as well.
nothing happened to their daughter, their daughter put herself in the position she is in. Payton's family deserves a lot more from them than an indirect apology and saying that they're suffering too. Payton was almost killed at the hands of their daughter, not to say that they as parents can't suffer for what their daughter did, but to me, it will never compare to the pain Payton and her family feel.
I got angry seen they said they would tell them that they're suffering too. They may be upset but in no way are they suffering like the victim and her family are! They didnt nearly lose their daughter. They didn't sit by her bed wondering if she'll make it through the night. They didn't have to watch their child be betrayed by her best friend and left for dead. They have no clue what remorse is. The mom could barely even form a sentence lying through her teeth
I think that that might be oversimplifying it a bit. Because the attack would force them to wonder if it was somehow their fault because it was their child, and so they would get a lot of secondhand guilt. That’s not to say that their suffering was necessarily the same or worse than those of the other parents. However, it might not be fair to compare it in the same ways.
Ask any parent, would you rather have your child survive a stabbing, or would you rather have your child to become a murderer and locked up. Every parent would pick the surviving good child over a murdering psycho so in some aspects I would say the parents of Payton are WAY better off the other ones just found out their daughter is beyond saving, in prison and the family will be forever in bad spotlight. There is no moving on from that for sure. Payton their parents atleast can move on, I'm strickly talking about the parents but you saying Payton her parents suffer worse then the other parents you are delusional, look at that man he still can't accept his 12year old girl turned into a murderer or already was one since birth who knows.
this story really gets to me. I just hope Payton will be able to trust one day, and not let what those girls did to her interfere with the beautiful future she has ahead of herself.
fcjkhgvljk gcsavjhl she's actually living a pretty good life...for what happened to her. She's hanging out at the local animal shelter and apparently back to smiling again. Her parents say that they believe that the girls stole their child away from them...but only for a moment
The fact that the parents didnt even know what their daughter is watching online it shows yet again that some parents are way too busy or simply do not care to pay attention to the kids home activities. Parents watch your kids even at home, check their phone, tablet, internet history and so on...
The anger in me says "Break their teeth out!" The MAN in me says "No! You can't do that!" The voice in my head says "They got what they deserved. Don't add to it." Me: 😊🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

@Lauren Cline one set of parents have to deal with the horror their child suffered. The other ones have to live with the fact they were raising these monsters.
She's their child, that's why they want her to be tried in a juvenile court. If their child was in the victims place instead, I bet their views on this would be the exact opposite.
The fact that the parents made a documentary about their daughter TRYING TO KILL HER FRIEND to profit from a shtty situation just shows how awful of people those parents are

I remember a comment about how Morgan knew she was gonna be on tv and wanted to act like the crazy creepy psychopath girl, which I think could lead to be true.
The thing is nothing HAPPENED to their daughter, she made the decision to do this why are they having this victim mentality like their daughter is “innocent”.
You can't be serious........they both plotted, kidnapped, attacked, and left another 12 y/o girl in the woods to slowly bleed out by herself AS A SACRIFICE. They can both rot and her parents can keep that half ass bogus apology.
Torah Agnew I agree, they spent months planing this. This is a case that shouldn't be tried in a juvenile court. They should be tried as adults since they obviously knew what they were doing.
OK. I agree to a point with what you're saying. I agree to the fullest about the two girls, they should be tried as adults as they knew exactly what they were doing when they 'lured' this 12 year old girl into the woods that day, and stabbed her 19 times in the name of 'Slender-man'. BUT to then criticise the parents regarding their apology, why? What do they say to the victims parents? How do they even start to apologise on behalf of their child? How would you react if you was in this situation. I think unless you're in their situation, it's hard to judge. If you haven't watched the documentary 'Beware the Slender-man' then watch it. It does explain a lot.
I am not judging them for apologising, i am judging them because it did not sound in the least sincere. I get it, they are put in a tough position by giving their own child emotional/mental support and showing support for the girl who was attacked but it sounded forced. Like they were coached.
Parents of Anesia: She spent alot of time on the internet. Absolutely EVERYONE: The hell weren't you checking up on her searches and limiting her time on the internet.
if i recall correctly as well, their child is the one who payton said she didnt really like bc she was always really mean to her but hung out w her for morgans sake
You say your daughter is “suspected of” doing the crime... No it’s proof because they both admitted it! These parents are only thinking of how they and their daughter are feeling, how do you think the VICTIM and her family are feeling. Maybe you should think about that!
"trialed," huh? Lol Anyway, nobody is disputing that fact or saying they shouldn't be punished. They're just saying they should be tried as children because... ya know... they're children.
They knew what they were doing. They led her there to kill her. It was not just a random attack that happened. It was planned. They should be charged as any other criminal who plans to take a life. They wanted to act like the big kids, they can suffer like them too.
These parents knew their daughter was obsessed with slender man, no doubt about it. I think they also knew she wasn’t a normal 12 year old girl. The way they support their daughter and almost justify her behavior is insulting to Payton and her family. She deserves to be tried as an adult because no normal child would have carefully plotted such a horrific plan to murder. What makes the story even more chilling is that the girls looked so innocent but were capable of doing the unthinkable.
Abigail Trumbo I understand what your saying and thank you for sharing but in my eyes she isn’t a child, she just looks like one. She thinks like a sadistic adult would, and a I believe a person like that will never change.
Erjona (sorry if I spelled that wrong) I agree with you. Sick or not they still knew what they were doing and they did that crime. I feel they should have an adult trial because they still had a brain that probably told them that was a stupid idea I feel like they should rot in prison because there is no excuse for that.
If you were a mother of a child who was suffering from Schizophrenia and he committed something horrible. What would you feel like? Those 2 girls are not criminals, they are victims of mental disorders.

@@azonicrider32 If you think about it, yes you would be upset, but she nearly killed her best friend for a fictional character. The point is she stabbed her best friend 19 times in the woods, and now her parents are trying to sugar coat the fact that their daughter is crazy, and is a murderer.
They are struggling I mean they lost a loved one to jail, they lost the person she was before going crazy on the other poor girl I wouldn't say they suffered equally as the other parents but they are still suffering about the fact that their daughter tried to murder someone
In my opinion, it’s not equal. It’s worse for the family of the girls who attempted murder. Imagine being in the family of someone who tried to kill another little girl. They will forever be seen as having raised a murderer. The other family, while struggling with what happened, are victims. They will have public help and support. But that family was right in one way- those parent’s child is a psychopathic murderer instead of a survivor. So yeah, it’s not equal. It’s worse.

She planned to kill the girl and nearly did so! That entirely warrants being tried as an adult. They know right from wrong especially with murder. Face it dude your child is an attempted murderer. Also can't you attempt a real apology than just sounding like you are reading off a card? Also how dare you compare their struggle with a girl who has nearly been murdered by someone she considered a friend with your petty struggle of knowing your child is a murderer.

“As much as the victims family is suffering, we are suffering equally.” While I agree that there is suffering on both sides the type of suffering and the degree of suffering cannot (in my opinion) be compared. If you were speaking directly to a victims family, invalidating their suffering is probably not the best thing to do.
It says a lot that they've never spoken to the victim's family...
NeccoWecco I'm sure that they were advised by their attorney to not speak to the victim's family to avoid incriminating their daughter. I would say that the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.

That's a hell of an assumption that they wouldn't speak to her family if the family *wanted* to make contact. It's just as likely a matter of giving them space and awaiting the moment when *they* (the victim's family) are ready.

I like how the father really said “suspected of” after hearings what she was “capable of”, they both admitted to do the crime, she was clearly a sociopath and needs help. And by help I mean being put in a cell for the rest of her life for what they both did to that poor girl
If Peyton had died and Morgan had told her parents, they seem like the type to help cover things up.
If their daughter was the one who was stabbed they would want the death penalty.
ZenXtraordinary these arent morgans parent thought
though*
This is anissas parents
Exactly
Remi Corbin I agree, how are they suffering equally?
@Remi Corbin What's insane is all the crap children are exposed to for hours everyday on the internet. I wouldn't be surprised if there will be more coming down the pike. These 2 are simply the first generation who have grown up with youtube and parents had no idea. It's like the obesity epidemic. Once kids were all skinny now there is a huge problem with obesity. In the future there are going to be HUGE scary behavioural problems with children. So unless you don't have young kids I wouldn't be so smug and unsympathetic if I were you.
I agree Ive been a victime and hell no. Its equily sufferying.

I do not have kids but I can say this, it is wrong and cruel to tell 2 twelve year old girls they have to go to jail for 30 years because of a computer game.
Then they say she has mental issues! She wasn't crazy before but shes crazy now.

These parents make me sick. At least apologize and take responsibility for the monster you created.
nothing happened to their daughter, their daughter put herself in the position she is in.
Nug tg exactly - and the PTSD. Trust issues...And who knows if the injuries cause health complications.
Kelly Sully I COMPLETELY AGREE. that makes me so maddd

The fact that the parents didnt even know what their daughter is watching online it shows yet again that some parents are way too busy or simply do not care to pay attention to the kids home activities. Parents watch your kids even at home, check their phone, tablet, internet history and so on...

In my opinion, it’s not equal. It’s worse for the family of the girls who attempted murder. Imagine being in the family of someone who tried to kill another little girl. They will forever be seen as having raised a murderer. The other family, while struggling with what happened, are victims. They will have public help and support. They never talk “business” with their daughter? Very strange comment.
I thought it was strange the mom said peyton "stated" that morgan was her friend and hope she finds true friendship. Who phrases something like that?
I guarantee if it had been their child being stabbed 19 times they would want revenge too.
I think the parents were helping but that's just me have you noticed how creepy they act
What if they did it to get internet famous
I probably go and burn down their house i fight with that naruto so many time that i have no fear to kill they
Sasuke Uchiha cringe
6:00 - 6:10 wait, are you saying you dont want to reveal anything EXTRA to the cameras when they are on?what more could be revealed and what ELSE are you hiding?like how you KNEW about the slenderman stuff but never told anyone?something feels "off" in their statement
Detective Hat on the case!
So she doesn't give a fuck about the little girl who got stabbed 19 time
They care more about THEIR image than the victim or even the attackers. They will hide things till they die probably. It's pretty disgusting.
@@michellefisher2985 yes tyou are right people are fucking disgusting
Really your going to blame the parents for this but really you are the worst kind of person conviction without thought... i can't even believe that this case is real.. and millions of others don't either so how can you blame the parents for something so farfetched that I'm sure your having a hard time believing to... i can now say people like you are the problem with the people the days so quick to judge but have no clue about the subject in question.... that is pure hurt and strength on the faces of those parents.. hurt because the pain there daughter caused and strength because they will not just let you weak internet lames blame them for something nobody for seen coming.. and you should be ashamed but I'm sure you won't.. so if your blaming the parents please go jump off a cliff because you do not have a good thought process and should not be apart of this world .
Not knowing what your kid is doing or capable is not helping your case.
I need to stop watching these at five in the morning🤦🏻♀️
felt that too hard
What!? Your watching this in the mor ing 😂
same
I’m low key watching this at 7:22 am and haven’t slept a wink
Madison Atkinson same I’m freaking scared bro
Anissa Weier was the mastermind that started the whole thing. Let us not forget that point even if Morgan comes off as more psychotic.
“It was a flawless plan, actually.”
Fucking Phsychopathy with narcissistic tendencies - Morgan thinks she’s an evil genius.
Yeah at first I thought Morgan was evil but watching how controlled her vocabulary and responses were Morgan is much more open about who she is,Anissa is a sneaky psychopath
Oldmanfunky Morgan was the mastermind bitch, have you even seen the interrogations? Bitch you need to do your research but either way both of these girls are psychopaths
Yeah but Morgan did the stabbing so she’s getting the worse part of it
Cesar Joel actually the Annissa was the mastermind. She manipulated Morgan to the point where she thought that if she didn’t believe her, she would be killed by “ slender man”
The knife was 5 inches long it punctured the tissue of her heart, Payton was found in a Patch of grass a few minutes after her "friends" said they would get help and then ran never returning to Payton. She was sent to the hospital the first words after Payton's surgery her first words were "Did they get them?"
“As much as the victims family is suffering, we are suffering equally.”
While I agree that there is suffering on both sides the type of suffering and the degree of suffering cannot (in my opinion) be compared. If you were speaking directly to a victims family, invalidating their suffering is probably not the best thing to do.
